Nugent Education Review

Our young people had a fantastic experience with the Nugent Education artists. We booked out the rapping/beatboxing session for our NCS participants to challenge them and put them out of their comfort zone by performing in front of the group. The artists did a great job of encouraging participation as well as giving them the chance to write their own lyrics. This allowed us to ask our young to reflect on themselves and their experiences and perform it as a rap. The experience was very beneficial to the programme.

Todd our Artist has been fantastic to work with throughout the duration of the events and I couldn't recommend him high enough for any mural/workshop occasion. He is a credit to Nugent Education and have only fantastic things to say about him.

Today my school has been left buzzing after a whole day of rapping/beatboxing workshops provided by the incredibly talented James Taylor. What an amazing experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend booking Nugent Education. A really inspirational experience. "It was so amazing, I couldn't breathe!" (Year 6 child) "Brilliant. What a great way to relate to children of this age. I bet my son will be rapping all night now!" (Parent) Thank you so, so much. The children have been asking when you can come back again!

We are a small, inaccessible, rural primary school and we have struggled for years to find anyone reputable to deliver good graffiti workshops. Nugent Education really came up trumps. They sent us a professional artist who ran 3 workshops (around 90 children aged between 7-11) and every single child produced a beautiful piece of graffiti art of which they are ALL extremely proud. I would highly recommend Nugent Education's services.

We have had two workshops recently and both were a resounding success. The students were engaged and had lots of fun. They also came away more knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I will definitely be using them again.

Nugent Education provided a graffiti workshop for our evening youth group of 12-17 year olds. They all had a fabulous time and created some excellent artwork. Todd was easy to communicate with and very helpful with advice for our artwork. Each teenager (and the adults!) were given a canvass to write a word on and were told how to turn this into graffiti style. There were plenty of art materials for all 24 of us. We did most of the artwork with permanent marker and paint pens and were given and chance to use the spray paint at the end to finish the boards.
This was great value and despite the difficulties Leighton had to rearrange an artist, we were not disappointed.

Kyle visited our Holiday Club for a day of beat-boxing and rapping workshops for 4-11s and we were SO impressed - not only was he really friendly and great with the kids but MEGA talented and differentiated for all our age groups!! We would highly recommend booking for Nugent Education - really simple booking system and great communication! We look forward to further collaborations!

Nugent Education ran a second series of Art workshops for our school on 17th October 2019. We invited them back again this year as they are so good.

The artists were excellent and the kids had an amazing day as part of our alternative curriculum day at school. They loved making the baseball caps and we'll hopefully book again for next year! thanks everyone who was involved.

He was very professional and engaging, children, came out with the new skills and we received very positive feedbacks from them, they all said that they want to see him again!

James is an absolute star who went above and beyond expectations with my Y4 class and their Y6 helpers. In two hours we had learned to beatbox, write raps and then performed in front of an audience! A fabulous opportunity to widen the experiences of the children musically and in literacy too. The children were engaged and enjoying learning. I would definately recommend Nugent Education.

Our 4 classes of Year 3 children really enjoyed the rap workshop we had booked for them. The rap artist was very entertaining and the children were engaged throughout and learnt a lot in a short space of time. When asked about the rap workshop most children rated it with 5 stars!
We also booked a graffiti workshop with the same company - which was fab. The children got to create a hat with a graffiti style logo on it - they were able to use paint pens and spray paints which they loved and went home excited to share their finished product. Again the graffiti artist was great with the children, demonstrated really simply how to get the desired graffiti effect and provided lots of support if the children needed it.
The workshops were easy to book and the company answered any questions we had promptly. We felt as a school the workshops were really great value for money and the children were enthused about our new topics from these experiences.
I would definitely use this company again.

Excellent service and highly professional!

Our organisation (Young Cumbria) hired Nugent Education to deliver 2 graffiti workshops for a group of young people aged 11-16yrs. The activities were well paced and the expertise of the staff really helped encourage and inspire our group, the group really enjoyed every second of the workshops.

Had Kyle come to deliver a beat-box/rap workshop with our disabled service user 13-25 years old. They absolutely loved it and Kyle was very patient and allowed the young people to go off and do their own unique things which they loved. Would definitely recommend

Fabulous day, the three workshops (Lantern Making, Graffiti Art & Rapping) went really well and the girls really enjoyed themselves. The leaders of the workshops relate well to children and provide a happy, enjoyable learning environment. Would not hesitate to use Nugent again.

A fantastic experience for our Year 6 children. Todd kept them engaged throughout the workshop and the children were inspired by him. Nugent Education helped provide a unique experience for our children - one I'm sure they won't forget!

As part of our International Arts Week, Nugent Education created an amazing outdoor mural of local Liverpool history from prehistoric times to Liverpool today. The imagination, design and colour has lifted our playground and is inspiring for our pupils, staff and parents! Thank you Nugent Education and especially to the artists, Molly, Emily and Ryan - you surpassed our expectations of what can be done in 1 week!!!

Nugent Education has been a pleasure to work with. Since the first time that we collaborated they have been super professional, friendly and kind to us. My organisation has now used them on numerous occasions and continue to do so as they deliver fun and engaging events which are very cool for children and teens. We have hired them to do Origami, Rap, Graffiti, Mask Making and African drumming all of which have been a success. It is a real pleasure to work with them and I highly recommend!!!!

Brilliant organisation providing high quality workshops and service. My organisation has used Nugent education numerous times, my particular group had the music/rap/beatboxing. The facilitator was brilliant and engaged the group of teens really well. I will definitely be booking again. The service provided was excellent from start to finish, couldn't be more helpful.

Nugent Education have worked with me at Longton Exchange Shopping Centre this year for some of our events. Their creative staff have been great right from Mother's Day plant pots through to Beat Boxing - excellent, very professional and fantastic with the various age groups we have.
