ReUse has a HUGE selection of used windows, doors, plumbing (toilets, sinks, bathtubs, fixtures) and appliances (furnaces, water heaters, ovens, ranges, cooktops, microwaves). At least 2 large wearhouses full! The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they were not all sorted based on size, which would have sped up my search considerably. I came specifically looking for a 32" exterior grade door (with window) but at only 1 3/8" thick, not your typical 1 3/4" thick exterior grade door and found one within 20 minutes at a fair price. Very helpful and friendly staff added to the appeal of this fantastic establishment. Quite honestly, it puts Urban Ore in Berkeley to shame. You must come here first! They even have a decent selection of fireplace mantels and surrounds, wood burning stoves as well as your standard gas burning fireplaces. Quite impressive!

The Reuse People have great architectural salvage....

The Reuse People have great architectural salvage. They deconstruct a lot themselves, and so the stuff in generally in excellent reusable condition. They sell denailed lumber, cabinets, doors, windows, etc. Always my first stop when working with people who want to to the ultimate in green (and save a lot of money too).

About The ReUse People

The ReUse People: Revolutionizing the Built Environment through Salvaging and Reusing Building Materials

The construction industry is one of the largest contributors to solid waste, generating millions of tons of debris every year. The disposal of this waste not only poses environmental challenges but also adds to the cost of construction projects. However, there is a solution that can address both these issues - salvaging and reusing building materials.

This is where The ReUse People come in. They are a company that specializes in salvaging building materials from demolition sites and distributing them for reuse. Their mission is to reduce the solid waste stream and change the way the built environment is renewed.

Founded in 1993, The ReUse People have been at the forefront of promoting sustainable building practices by diverting reusable materials from landfills. They operate in several locations across California, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Oregon, Washington State, and Utah.

Their process begins with identifying buildings that are scheduled for demolition or renovation. They work with contractors to carefully dismantle these structures while salvaging as many reusable materials as possible. These materials include lumber, doors and windows, plumbing fixtures, electrical components such as wiring and lighting fixtures; even bricks can be reused!

Once they have collected these materials from various sources they sort them into categories such as flooring material or roofing material so that they can be easily identified by customers who want to purchase them for their own projects.

The benefits of using reclaimed building materials are numerous - it reduces landfill waste which helps protect our environment; it saves energy because less energy is required to produce new products when existing ones are reused; it saves money because reclaimed products are often cheaper than new ones; it preserves history because many old buildings contain unique architectural features that cannot be replicated today.

In addition to their core business model of salvaging building materials for reuse The ReUse People also offer other services such as deconstruction consulting where they advise clients on how best to salvage reusable items during a demolition project; green demolition which involves dismantling structures without damaging reusable items so that they can be sold later on; education programs aimed at raising awareness about sustainable building practices among architects builders designers students homeowners etc.; retail sales where customers can purchase reclaimed items directly from their warehouses or online store.

One thing that sets The ReUse People apart from other companies in this space is their commitment to quality control. All items sold by them go through rigorous testing before being put up for sale ensuring customers get high-quality products every time.

Another advantage offered by The ReUse People over traditional suppliers is customization options available when purchasing reclaimed goods like custom milling services which allow customers who need specific sizes or shapes cut out pieces according their needs rather than having buy standard sizes off-the-shelf products elsewhere .

In conclusion if you're looking for an eco-friendly way renovate your home office or any other structure then look no further than The Reuse people! With over two decades experience under its belt this company has proven itself leader field sustainability innovation while providing top-notch customer service all along way .
