I should have known better. He is a storm chaser. I pretend like he care. This guy is pure evil. He never returned my calls after my roof started leaking. The authorities should do something about him. He should be punished.
I contacted Nu Roofing to take a look at my roof since I noticed some damages from a previous storm. Zico came out and was very helpful and knowledgeable about roofing and what steps we needed to take to get it replaced. They came out on the scheduled date and was able to complete the roof repairs within the same day and my gutters a couple days later. I have enjoyed my experience with Nu Roofing and would use them again and refer them out to people I know.
My review is for a recent roof install that was done back in November 2018. The guy goes by Zico. New roof installed looked great few months later my new roof cost me my air-conditioner does not work not blow cold air. Last week my local air-conditioner guy did a yearly inspection Freon leak was found after my AC guy finished adding more Freon to my unit. Roofing nail struck my Freon line in the attic I will post a picture video you can hear the high pitch sound of the Freon leaking. I will not do business with this company ever again. I m just trying to get somebody from the company to call me and make things right fix the repair. Have a nice day.
Avoid this roofer at any cost, even if he says free.. He goes by Zico and he is dishonest and does all shoddy work. Check the other reviews too if you don't believe me.. After he changed the roof, water was dripping inside as if tap was open when it rained.. he never picks up phone nor returns calls and messages. Only way for him to pick up phone is, call from different number and leave vm as "Need roof to be changed, got your referrel from someone i know of" then he calls immediately.. else he never, ever picks up phone..
I didn't even give this guy a chance because of the way he called my phone back to back and the very unprofessional text messages he sent. Then I went to read his reviews...LOL...pathetic, dishonest, crook. Stay away, you have been warned so please take heed!
Unfortunate google doesn't allow negative rating. Zico replaced our roof, thereafter I see nails upto 1inch inside the house. There are hundreds of nails exposed upto 1in just in attic. One now has to enter the attic with helmet. Brought this to Zico's attention, but he won't respond. Worst. I want this fixed, before there is any head injury. If someone can rec me authority that can handle this, pls lmk.
Just like everyone else who post reviews about you, you should be ashamed. You take people s money and do horrible roofing . You know that within time their roofs will leak. Some still have time to sue your sorry a$$ others don t. You can t return phone calls. You don t bother to fix the problems you have caused. The more people that will try to complain about NuRoofing, Mr. McBean the better. I never leave reviews but you have gone to far taking advantage of people and my elderly mom. You need to be stopped. Don t use this guy for your roofing needs. I agree with the post below mine. If you like your roof and think he did a great job...... just wait.
We're so happy we went with NTCS. Although their price was higher than the other estimates, the quality, and efficiency as well as the time Christopher spent describing in detail every question or concerns we had was a level of service rarely offered.
Nu Roofing did my roof 5 months ago and my roof is now leaking. Zico McBean is the owner, he won t answer my calls, he told me to get someone else to fix it and he refuses to honor the 5 year warranty. I wish I could give 0 stars, he doesn t even deserve 1 star!!!! The roof was almost $12,000 dollars and now my home has damage from his shady work that is going to cost me no telling how much money to repair. The warranty he gives is completely useless and he is a complete fraud. His business card address goes to the Euless post office and the office number does not work, it s somebody else s cell phone number. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. He cuts corners, he does shady work, he doesn t honor his warranty, and he will tell you to find someone else when you have problems from his incompetent work. He is not licensed or accredited with the BBB. I had to find out the hard way. Let your Home Owners use one of their roofers so your roof will be covered if you have problems later. I wish I had known this before. If anyone else is having issues too please make a complaint with the BBB and on the Texas Attorney General website. The Texas AG has an easy complaint form online and it is meant to stop scammers like Zico McBean and to protect consumers. You may also consider hiring a DTPA Attorney as well depending on the extent of damage you have.

This company is HORRIBLE!! Ziko (their leader) is a terrible person. He will smile in your face and have his clown crew of misfits do a poor job on your roof. Ziko is not trustworthy. It's a wonder that these clowns are still in business. If you read this and still hire them you can only blame yourself for what you're going to experience. How bad can they be you ask? You'll see! My roof has needed replacement for a while. Mr. Zico McBean with NuRoofing came by and offered to meet with my insurance company. Mr McBean was very aggressive with his presentation. I did end up going with him and Nuroofing but had issues with him showing up when agreed upon and communicating dates and times. He didnt know where his roofers were when they were scheduled to work on my house. The roof was replaced while I was at work and I didn't see Mr. McBean until he came to pick up the final payment. I erroneously assumed the roof had been completed. I was wrong. With the recent rains, I have found that my roof leaks. Everytime it rains water Cascades down my wall and onto my floor. My ceiling, walls, baseboards, fireplace have all been damaged because of the leak. I have emailed and texted Mr. McBean but the only response I got was when he thought I needed a new roof. He has not responded to any of my text messages or emails and I am taking this to mean he is refusing to come back and repair the damage that he and his company have caused.
