Fantastic services reasonable priced. Beautiful beaches.

Staff were great and the bed was very comfy but that s all. Paid $400+ to stare at a cement roof. Also, aircon in our room barely worked. Would not stay there again.

Very friendly staff. Nice service and spacious rooms. The breakfast buffet is great.

Popped in from Sydney with Hubby and Kids for a last minute visit and we are over the moon. Service has been first class and in room dining menu has been superb. The best thing about the rooms, we can hear the waves rolling onto the beach from here. Utterly Relaxing...Highly recommended

Staff is inattentive, you pay A la carte but get fish & chip quality and service. Facilities are old and tired. The seats were grotty. Tables were left uncleared and in a mess for long periods even though they were not busy. Our order was for three items and they charged is for four them had to refund is. Table next to ours their order was mixed up too. Not very classy at all.

We were happy to get a better room than last time where we could open the windows and had a great view. Didn't like the "ice skating" experience at all, way to slippery, and very dangerous. Wasn't advertised on Facebook as plastic until people complained. After sending an email, was happy that Novotel gave me a refund as we didn't even last 5 mins on the ridiculous surface. Cafe at rink was very unorganised, and coffee wasn't the best. Breakfast was nicer than the last time we were there. Very flexible with parking as my husband had to work and bring a second car and staff were happy to include the second car for free, thank-you. Look forward to our next stay, hopefully can request the same or similar room.

Location is amazing. Rooms are large and clean. Food is average

Staff fabulous I stay here frequently great location but most important, this Novotel has best staff, friendly but not intrusive and great service with a warm smile always. My favorite destination thanks to staff.

Great venue and great accommodation. I attended a conference here and it has comfortable rooms with great views. Meals were fantastic and so were the buffet breakfasts with plenty of options.

Great room, great location but disappointed that there is no free wifi and no one was at reception to greet us when we walked in to check in at about 7.30 pm...i stayed in room #721 on tuesday the 24th april 2018. The party noise down stairs/ or nearby restaurants was still roaring at 11.30pm, should have better soundproof windows for those that want a quiet night in...

Our stay at Nth Wollongong Novotel was delightfully the room with balcony prefect , location ocean park view, morning wake up to sunshine and sound of the ocean could not have asked for more, this is a grand Hotel to stay. Breakfast a huge selection, just delicious fruits,eggs etc, restaurant location with seaviews the prefect way to stay ones day.

We stayed in a newly renovated room on the 9th floor with absolutely beautiful ocean and mountain views. The patrolled North Wollongong beach was across the road as well as a short work to plenty of options for lunch. We were able to hand feed the cockatoos some almonds from our balcony in the afternoon and they were so gentle. The restaurant had plenty of variation for dinner (buffet or al acarte) and we had a surprising gift in our room awaiting us as we were here to celebrate my birthday. Overall a great stay and I would highly recommend.

Nice location. Room are good, there is a kid playroom down at the lobby. Only 30 minutes free Wi-Fi at lobby.

Staff were really professional and nice. We got a free upgrade and parking because we were on our honeymoon. Breakfast was delivered and was amazing. An expensive but memorable night!!

Room is nice and modern but the hotel is a bit run down. Phones don't work, lifts playing up, parking is difficult

Pepes at North Wollongong is a nice chilled back beach bar. Prices have been going up. Other bars are better in Wollongong.

staff are very slow to serve drinks, chairs are very dirty. not a lot of fresh air, was quite hot inside with all the doors closed.

The room was extremely expensive, we stayed one night and it was $364, it wasn't any better than a hotel we previously stayed at for $190 and came with its own kitchen (the Novatel room did not offer such a thing) other then that the room looked presentable, good quality electronics and shower head, and properly working thermostat

We were lucky enough to be one of the first to stay on the newly refurbished 10th floor.

The room was modern, large, warm and clean (as you would hope!) The staff were friendly and helpful, and the welcome drinks as members was a nice touch.

The hotel itself is nicely situated overlooking the beach, and the reception area light and airy.

I think we were the first in the room since it was refurbished, so just a couple of teething problems - there was a bit of builders dust on top of the shower head, and there was a leak under the sink (reported at check out). Also the bar/lounge area, although busy, I felt it was lacking in atmosphere.

But all in all, a nice experience and would have liked to have stayed longer.

What a fantastic hotel, we received a free upgrade from an ocean view room to an ocean view with balcony, and the kids absolutely enjoyed watching and feeding the beautiful cockatoos and lorikeets that came to visit. We also enjoyed having a place to sit that was not in the dark after we put the kids to sleep. The breakfast was also amazing, the barista a great touch.
The one thing that was a little annoying was the sheer glass panelling in he bathroom. We always leave the bathroom light on at night however this meant the whole room was lit up due to the panels.

Here for the ice skating,very good fun and we'll organised. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. They make you feel very welcome.

The carpet was so dirty in our room and no lights in the ceiling do we couldn't read at all only little bedside lamps and the room smells i think they need to change the carpet

Nice place to stay. Certainly, the view can't be beat. Elevators are a bit in the dodgy side and the room service menu is a touch on the pricey side, but it's a hotel, so what do you expect? I'd stay here again.

Great spot in summer because is right in the beach. Rooms are big but hotel is becoming dated. Noise between rooms can be an issue at times. Staff always helpful and food is pretty good. Restaurant is quite good on seafood night.

We have stayed at Novotel Wollongong Northbeach a few times now (including on our wedding night) and have always been blown away by the beautiful rooms and friendly, professional staff. Recently we revisited for our 1st anniversary and were treated to a room with a spectacular view, special sweets and wine on arrival and just overall felt very special :) Thank you very much - this will always be a special place for us and we can't wait for our next stay.

Finding free onstreet parking was relatively easy though the hotel has parking for $15 a day.
Twin Double room was OK although the bed was made sloppy with the sheets not fitting the mattress with the bedding just thrown on top, but the bed was super comfy.
Disappointed at the lack of ventilation in the bathroom causing the ceiling to drip and driving the room humidity through the roof. Windows that only open 10cm didn't help this situation.
Was there for a wedding function and some of the waitress staff were horrible - Removing wedding cake from my kids' plates before they even had a chance to eat it, stating 'it was being collected and given wedding party'. Which it was not, probably binned or eaten by the staff. Sigh.

My stay is always a pleasure rooms very clean yet I returned to stay a night on the 18/10/17 and was told by the girl at the desk that a basic room for the night will be $380.00 instead of $220- $250 as they are (busy tonight) I therefore went to a new Hotel at Austimere and also found there service impeccable.What surprised me about the front desk response was that she seemed not to understand that you lost room, meals,and bar for the night and allowed another hotel to have one of your loyal clients in future I will check available hotels in the area rather then just going straight to the Novotel.

I went there to try the seafood buffet last night with a couple of friends, the seafood was okay, NOT THAT FRESH FOOD EVEN IT IS CLOSE to the sea, fruits not fresh as well, and 50 bucks per person. Hopefully it can be better at weekends.

We ordered a room dinner for vegetable laksa and kids pizza but the taste was so terrible, which was almost defrost and little heated up frozen food. absolutely no taste but horrible. Chefs are no idea how to cook asian food as sense of it - very disappointing.
Bed was really comfy and very very nice though

Marriott platinum elite and Rydges black member - unfortunately neither of these brands represented in Wollongong, so I have little choice but to stay at Novotel - what a mistAke - staff outright rude and unwelcoming - challenged staff member in a direct manner only have her to make me feel like I was the problem @ I would not recommend this place to frequent travellers or anyone who wants that home away from home experience

I agree with most people s comments about great location, but other than this hotel is completely dis-functional and no regard or interest in customers.

Enjoyed the free upgrade resulting from Accor Plus membership. Slightly disappointed that the company providing Internet to Novatel clients had its server go down on our second night

Nice location, friendly staff, rooms a clean easy access to the beach. Less then a 10 minute walk to the centre off Waikiki shops. Highly recommended

Brittany at reception was fantastic as were all the staff, our room was clean and beautifully presented. We had a drink in the bar before going to see Tina Arena and the bar attendant could not have been friendlier, quick trip into the gaming room for a donation and although we lost, the gaming attendant interacted with us and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was sensational and constantly topped up with fresh hot food. We made inquiries regarding Accor Advantage and have decided that Novotel Nth Woolongong is our special go-to place. We used to be with Accor but when I purchased our hotel in Pambula it was too far away. Now living in Bowral we are only an hour away, Woo Hoo

Melanie @ check-in was so courteous and friendly. Nuryana had prepared our room and had done such a great job. The only reason I did not rate a '10' as above was because the barman (tall, black hair, early beard growth in the lobby on the evening 17 May (the alarm evacuation night) did not smile, appeared he did not want to be there and could well attend a session or two in customer service which, I value. I had the buffet lunch and breakfast that were so well prepared and great (young Asian male in a tie was so accommodating. My room upgrade was greatly appreciated and so pleasant.

The Hotel was up to the usual High Standard, with the exception of the Restaurant , this Problem was Promptly sorted out by the Duty Manager and I appreciated the Young Ladies assistance in addressing my concerns

It's a nice hotel but the lifts made me feel sick like the building was shaking. We got a cold there, but otherwise it was great! Would go again.

Staff at check were fantastic, when we arrived at our room we were pleasantly surprised to find great views, large bath, nespresso, robes and slippers, desk and a super comfy bed. Novotel wollongong provided the comfortable relaxing night we needed, we could not have wished for more. We did have dinner and breakfast, we chose buffet for both, in line with this great experience, we loved the food, the oysters are some of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend.

Stayed in the ocean view room with no balcony, the room had a stunning view two window panoramic of the ocean. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was nice when we checked in and were given complimentary beverage vouchers for the Lobby Bar. The Lobby Bar was inviting and the beverages were priced well. The hotel opposite the beach and a short walk to cafes and restaurants. The in room dining options were minimal with no breakfast options. The only down side to our room was that it was right on top of Pepe's which had loud music until the early hours of the morning, it was difficult to sleep with the music blaring and it is advised that in future the hotel advises people staying on a Friday or Saturday night in that room as it was unpleasant.

Fabulous accommodation, location, staff and service. Have stayed here several times now & would definitely recommend. Perfectly situated opposite the beach. Pool gets a little bit busy & parking can be tricky if they have a function on - but that's understandable & nothing to grizzle about. Restaurant, bar and room service all brilliant. Heaps to do 'down the coast' Easy drive to Kiama, Gerringong and Jamberoo. We love this hotel.

Such a fantastic Novotel, with impeccable staff great ocean views in the right rooms, and a wonderful menu. A wonderful place to stay for two weeks

At the check in we were not told that the wifi was not working and we really needed it to catch up with friends. If we were told, we wouldnt have stayed there. Breakfast is expensive and just ok.

Great hotel and staff. Our ocean view room was quiet, modern and very clean on arrival. The staff were very helpful and the underground parking was easy with plenty of spaces available. The lobby bar was great. Cannot fault anything at this hotel and will defenitely stay again. Thanks

Payed good money for a ocean view room that looked north with a slight view of the ocean. Over priced for dated room, then they charge you for parking on departure when you would assume this to be included for guests.
Staff were friendly but hotel severely dated.
Have stayed at much nicer accomodation for less money.

It is a decent and luxurious place with well mannered staff.
