HAWKESBURY RACE CLUB LIMITED Review

Went to a large function here were a three course meal was served. The good was very good and served efficiently.

Could not have had a better experience. Went to A Celebration of The Superstars of Country. Then and now. Staff lovely. Venue lovely.

I recently had my engagement party turn suprise wedding at hawkesbury Racecourse. It was amazing, everything turned out perfectly. Alison was so professional in taking care of every detail. Everyone has said how great the food was and how beautiful the room was set up.

Absolutely shocked that "person's in power" could make a decision to move the winning post!!! Why change Australian icons, why move winning post further down the straight, that NO ONE, as is no public, punters, owners, NO ONE of significance, excepting the race caller can actually see the race finishing line. Such a disgrace, disappointing. Won't go there again. Stop changing "the Australian way".

Very pleasant. Happy workers and visitors. Good view. All amenities were above expectations.

Great picturesque race club. Club motel well run. Race club well run Track staff and maintenance staff keep track and surrounds in great order

Offers great racing. Only issue is is finishing post is now to far away from the grandarand other wise would be 5 stars

Plenty of space and nice clean atmosphere my 2 yr old went nutz there

It's right next to the train which is good. Maybe a short walk up the path. But it was good fun

Wonderful traditional race course. Lots of character and a long home striaght.

Still under renovation.. But the view of the mountain from seating area was amazing..

Alot of Family history here with the LOVEDAY Family, my father inlaw Joe, Joseph Loveday, was basically the boss back in the day, it qas the only gallops he run, otherwise the trotters world might know the name, if any are still around. Sadly we lost Pa, Joe in 2014, but he will never be forgotton.

The rooms are quiet, comfortable and modern. The facilities are well suited for a weekend get away or work. It has free wi-fi, parking, daily room service. Tea, coffee, mini bar, microwave, iron and hair dryer in each room. The larger family rooms also have cooking facilities including pots and pans. They only have breakfast service at the restaurant, but the nearby Tavern is a very worthwhile lunch, dinner & drinks venue. The Tavern is located right next to Clarendon train station (Roughly 5 mins walk to the rooms). I often stay here for work.

excellent facilities. right at the train station or heaps of parking. good day out with the family especially on weekend races.

It's a fun day out for the family, but if it's a really hot day there is no inside area with air conditioning unless you are in the members box which can be troubling if you can't handle the heat.
My last visit this happened to me and the young security guard was very kind and took me to the sick bay where I could lay down with the air conditioning and he bought me a cold bottle of water and kept checking in on me until I was OK to leave.
Very kind.

Horse racing is a cruel sport. Enjoy gambling on petfood

I always have a great time at the hawksburry races, I just wish I was a member so I would go there more often, it's the best provincial race club around sydney buy a mile.
