Loved the upgrade to ocean view room on signing in. Very helpful staff.
The room was very clean and well set out with a nice ocean view. he bathroom was large and well appointed.
The Queen bed was soft and very comfortable. My only little criticism is that if you like to sleep on the edge of the bed it is just a bit too soft.
Also there is a $15 fee for parking underneath. Be sure to ring and check the height of you vehicle will fit underneath as some areas are a bit low.

The Seafood banquate at the Windjamer Restuarant was beautiful. Plenty of variety and helpful staff.

We had the best Christmas lunch ,every one has to try this experience.

Twas Lit. Very Lit. I can't recall a time in my life in which the experience was more lit. I ate cheese. I listened to absolutely godly music. Trolled a couple people and just enjoyed the extremities of this magnificent life god has placed upon me. Love life. Believe in peace. Worship Michael Cera. Just to order coffee we had to wait over 10 minutes as 1 person serving then a male customer walks over within 1 minute the employee named jonathon goes over to serve the male customer until i had to raise my voice to Alert the Novotel worker that he needs to serve the customer that has been waiting he knew we were there as he saw us not once did he even say sorry or acknowledge the fact that he was being sexist then he said you will have to wait for your coffees if i dont get my coffee in the next 5 minutes i will be asking management to better run the place this is not acceptable as t he place is not even full

We had too short a stay at this Novotel. The room was large, very quiet and overlooked the ocean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and the breakfast selection was just right. Nothing to complain about, however the underground parking could prove a challenge to some.

We really like this Novotel. We spend our anniversaries here every year and have never had an issue.. it is in a perfect location, the rooms are always clean and staff have always been friendly. Sunrise from the balcony is beautiful! Definitely worth a stay.

Great location, comfortable room, listen to the sea, close to an awesome playground, the beach, nice cafes, but the gang of Sulphur Crested Cockatoos that visit the balconies were the highlight.

Excellent location, close to city centre and to the beach. Very good and lively atmosphere. Very big and comfortable rooms. The staff is so fantastically helpful! They are always ready to give customers recommendations on attractions or services. The lobby is also very big and the location is by far the most convenient!

Very clean and right next to everything you need! Pool and spa are also great!

The staff were so welcoming and accomodating. I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful front counter staff, our lovely housekeeping lady, the restaurant staff and the room service staff. The location is amazing and our room was excellent.

I got my SUV rear window broken as simply the parking slot is not suitable for parking. I was reverse parking and got break you rear window even 1/3 of my my car was still outside the parking slot. The reason behind that is a big aircon duct that is passing at the back parallel to the wall. I can tell you that I didn't even reach to the wheels stoppers on the floor. Have also to say my rear camera and parking sensor didn't alert me due to the height of the duct.
There is no a single sign says "small cars only" or anything similar. Can't also tell how much broken glass are scattered underneath the aircon duct along the walls.
When I complained, the hotel mentioned, we have signs say "Park at you own risk" which I did accept, as this always relates to not leave valuables at your car. Anyways, they refused to let their insurance cover the cost of replacing my glass.

We are here now. Yes it s NYE but to have a live band playing till 1am!! We paid ALOT of money to stay here and we had no idea that this was happening here. My child can t sleep and neither can we.

I have not stayed personally, however, the business functions have always been catered well. Food good and the view excellent Recently they went above and beyond when I sent my mum and dad there for a special dinner. Thank you

The hotel and staff are great but windjammer restaurant needs to update their deals on cudo. We purchased a buffet deal and had the option to pick a time, we chose 2pm only to be told at 2.15pm that the buffet closes at 2.30pm. Very disappointing.

we always have a great night sleep here. even the visitors for breaky was a great way to end our trip

Older hotel, but clean and tidy. Very comfortable room bed. Staff incredible seafood buffet was outstanding.

I went here fir a wedding in the back deck and reception in the adjacent dining hall.

Service was good, and the dinner was well laid out. Flavours we're great too.

Excellent venue for functions, at least from a guests perspective.

The room is spacious and the bed is dreamily comfortable. The staff are so friendly and nothing is a problem. We will be trying the restaurant tonight, if it is as good as the downstairs bar I'm sure we be happy. Will definitely stay here again.

Location is perfect, and rooms are really clean.
The lobby has some renovation. However, nothing to disturb your stay.

The conference room was renovated very nicely. Great staff at the Novotel Cafe. The room was clean and well-presented. Quiet and pleasant. The TV remote didn't seem to work at first, but after a few tries we managed to turn on the TV. Bathroom very clean. Loved the pillows on bed.

A bit on the pricey side, and our meals came out 20 mins late, however the atmostphere is lovely, the place is very clean and well kept, and the staff are professional and very polite

The hotel room was immaculately serviced.

Front desk people are not friendly at all. They have the worst customer service i have ever witnessed in a hotel. The hotel car park is the narrowest I've ever been in. Pay $20 per night but good luck getting any spaces where you can park properly. I dented my SUV trying to squeeze into a spot. The carpets are damp and smells. Very disappointed after paying over $500 p/n.

Good accommodation, excellent breakfast and nice location. Walking distance to the beach.

As the first time taking our 6 week baby away, Novotel made our stay very pleasant. The room was very clean and we had ample room to have our port cot set up.

Rooms left a lot to he desired, average bathroom and the bed was the softest I've ever seen, made for a terrible night's sleep. Buffet breakfast was OK but expensive

Great hotel buffet breakfast has everything book on weekends very busy and join hotel club and get 2 for 1 price.

I attended the ice skating event and it was very fun with my 3 y/o nephew but would have preferred an easier skating surface.

Went to ice-skating by the beach at Novotel Northbeach in July, it was a very good experience, the staff were happy to leave you to independently skate around. All in all a good experience.

Hi, your Hotel room and the Hotel it's self is wonderful but myself and my husband were very disappointed with our room. Someone had been Smoking heavily in our room the day before apparently. Even the smoke detector was covered up with a plastic bag so the smoke didn't set it off. The staff were helpful and sent a person up straight away to remove the plastic bag from the detector. The smoke smell was overwhelming and l have had watery eyes and running nose ever since as l suffer badly from sinus and asthma. We did ask about changing rooms but there was no other room of equal status avaliable. I can't understand how the cleaning staff didn't smell the problem and open the room up to air it out. We spent the best part of our stay out on the balcony with the doors open to air the room. Other than that the Hotel is lovely but the smoke smell really did make it an uncomfortable to stay there.

A large spacious elegant hotel facing the beach. Gym and sauna available. Staff are great and welcoming. I liked my room which was spacious and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was great too. Hope to visit again soon.

Welcoming & helpful team of staff, delicious food with plenty of healthy options to leave room for delicious desserts, very comfortable clean quiet rooms armed with a soft linen bed that's like like sleeping in a cloud

Work conference during the day and an awards ceremony at night, well catered, great facilities and great service. Rooms look to be recently renovated and are of a high standard. Would love to go back again given the opportunity

Reception service was friendly and warm. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only issue was with the parking lot - very tight and sometimes difficult to negotiate. Otherwise an enjoyable stay.

Third stay for regular business trips.
The rooms are always clean with powerful showers and comfortable beds.

Unfortunately, the terribly loud aircon with ancient controls is hugely dsappointing. I can't stand the awful noise and temperature control is very poor. Astounding that you have not upgraded the (antique?) AC?? Makes the ageing lifts seem...modern!...wondering where is the 'built in radio' in the bedside tables ...from this era (joke).

The carpark is also always a pain (barrier/ticket system is troublesome and most spaces are awkward or small - especially when you do charge extra!?).
Every stay, I had to have my keycards replaced (including since ur change to RFID).
I enjoy the generally quiet room and do come back for the bed but wish that your housekeeping could do triple sheeting properly!!!

Overall good, however these are details that Novotel really ought to resolve, ASAP.

We were treated to a well appointed room with a fantastic view. The staff were very efficient and helpful. It was just the short break that we needed.

We had a fabulous time at the Novotel in Wollongong, the room was lovely and we were very comfortable. The hotel is in a lovely location, we'll be back.

Nice Reception staff very helpful. We had a room with two double beds comfy. There was no dress mirror for makeup etc. And the air conditioning control was on the wall so we had to stand up and fix the temperature. The sea food buffet was great and the breakfast also. When staff welcomes you with a voucher for drinks (even if you don't use it ) it's a great idea /customer service.

Good room great ocean view.Friday seafood was good .Everything tasted fresh exept the Balmain Bugs were bland and appeared that they had been frozen.

There were obviously functions happening and it was so noisy in the bar where we thought we would watch the AFL grand final, but ended up going back to our room. We went to see a show and when we got back to the hotel we thought it might be a bit quieter, but no luck, it was just as noisy. We went to our room and found the people noise from the street was quite loud. Would have thought Novotel would have better soundproofing for the price they charge. Was our first stay and won t be staying again.

Foyer/reception is in great need of a renovation. a very depressing and sad first inpact on arrival. dirty windows. broken marble floors. dirty sad olf elevators. luckily the room was pleasent with an amazing view ( room 715 )

Attended the 2016 Disability Trust Awards Night at the Novotel. Food, service and facilities were good. Staff were extremely helpful and supportive when one of the attendees required assistance.

5 star hotel but mattress was very uncomfortable and lumpy

Lovely hotel in a great location - experience tarnished by our visit to the restaurant. Our experience was spoiled by our visit to the restaurant. We booked in advance and were told there were very few covers expected - but when we arrived it was full and we were told to expect a delay. The wine we ordered wasn't available and a cheaper one was offered - it was fine. When the food was eventually delivered it was cold - delicious, but cold. As we were obviously at the end of the service and were hungry we ate the very tasty meal - my, how beautiful it would have been if served hot. The service staff were wonderful and apologetic offering us a cocktail in apology. Everyone was wonderful about it, but the food should never have been served cold.

Overall happy with the room. However the pricing of the buffet dinner at night was to put it bluntly "exorbitant " at $65 and it was not until I finished and signed off on the account was I made aware of this cost.
Based upon that experience I am unlikely to return.

As regulars at Novotel Wollongong, we like the relaxed location and friendly staff at Novotel North Wollongong.
The staff try very hard to meet customers requests, and we found that room service was excellent.
We also like the seafood buffet and dining service which has beach views of North Wollongong Beach as well.

Love the location right on the beach room service was good rooms were clean spacious we had a balcony with ocean views on the eleventh floor very happy with room service Peppes on the beach downstairs is a great place to hang out with friends and drinks with the magnificent beach across the road .very friendly staff .

It's starting to show it's age, a bit pricey for the quality but the location is good. Both lifts were broken down. I wonder if the air conditioning gets cleaned..... kinda smells funky...

As a corporate customer, I must say it was a pretty disappointing stay all around. Staff at the check in counter were preoccupied and not particularly interested in hearing about my requests, but quick to quote 'hotel policy' for all my inquiries.
I am already a member of the Accor Club, but somehow the receptionist signed me up again without even asking me.
When I received the email 'welcoming' me to the Accor Club, I went down to reception and asked the somewhat inattentive receptionist to delete my new membership and perhaps transfer the booking to my existing account. Although she promised to action my request, clearly no action was taken as I still have 2 separate accounts.
Check out was similarly disappointing. I asked the tax invoice to be emailed to me given my email address was already on file. 2 days later, still no tax invoice. I had to call the hotel and ask again after completing my trip!

Have been here several times. A well-located venue with local entertainment, restaurants and cafes all within walking distance. The old port and CBD are within a 20m walk. Friendly customer service at the concierge and on-site restaurant. Will return for another short break soon.

We have been coming to the hotel for many years for different reasons!

We love styling and creating flowers for Novotel couples as the wedding and events team is fantastic. Always friendly, approachable and professional.

We love staying at the hotel as it s always a good nights rest and the breakfast in windjammers is delicious!

Definitely recommend the team at Novotel.
