Great all round experience at this hotel
I have stayed here twice and both occasions were great, the second time round was even better as it felt more welcoming and they provided great room service that.

Air conditioning in room not working, two out of three power sockets in room not working, one or two staff rather abrupt and lacking in customer focus

We had a lovely stay at Novotel West, staff are very friendly & helpful. Bed was very comfy, the only thing that could be improved would be the rooms air con, room was very stuffy no ventalation, but the staff where very helpful in providing us a fan on the first day, so made our stay very pleasant.

Friendliest staff. Great cocktails. Glasses are never empty and schmick ambience. Cheers for the good times

I stayed at this hotel recently and must say it is one of the best hotels I've been too as of late. We were upgraded from our regular room to an executive suite at no extra cost. However once we got to the new room, it smelled like someone had been smoking in it, the staff was courteous enough to give us another executive suite promptly. The room came with amenities such as tv, small fridge, ironing board and espresso machine. The one downside is the bathroom which I felt could have been designed a little more practically as they went for a minimalistic modern design. The water quality is great and appears soft which is good. Complimentary breakfast was awesome.

Pretty nice hotel overall. My wife and I easily walked to Hyde Park and to the London Eye/Big Ben area. The breakfast buffet was extremely...English. I would stay here again.

It is a very very complete hotel. Clean spacious rooms with kettle, coffee etc, spacious and very comfortable beds. Refrigerator. The attention of concierge and other very nice and friendly employees and many speak Spanish. The breakfast without equal. Great variety continental and english breakfast. Buffet I recommend it super. It is far from the center of London. But the metro station is 100 meters away.

It was nice experience. I was there for a short time. Room was fine. Heating was not working properly and that was the only downside.

I went for an evening event, run alongside a expo. The venue was nice & professional, definitely a good selection of venue, especially considering the sheer number of people. The food was fine & the staff were incredibly friendly for the event. They were a bit useless away from the event itself though

Slightly spoilt by non working room key after check in and tops missing off bath and shower taps.
Loved the restaurants and bar areas.Big plus was the hotel atmosphere in the lobby and nice receptionists.
Location ideal and car parking good.
Good helpings and price in the restaurants.
In spite of a high work load staff were very polite and friendly.
In the bar area Desiree impressd with her stunning smile. Went the extra mile and is appreciated, Please pass my remarks on to Desiree and say the croisants were the best ever.

Considering it was labeled as a 4 star hotel it was a little disappointing. It felt more like an average 3 star.

Good location, very friendly and helpful staff. The only downside was the huge construction going on that woke US up at 08:00 saturday morning.

This is not a 4 star hotel. We stayed as part of a travel package for an excursion while in London. It was by far the worst hotel I have stayed in. Needed to store bags since room was not ready. We were led to the storage room to stow our own bags rather than having the bags taken care of for us. At 11:30pm there was a long line to check in. Children running through the lobby unattended. Rooms were worn and dirty. Bathroom mirror was dirty. Room smelled like someon had just eaten dinner in there, very strong odor. No AC, yes there was no air conditioning. We thought it was odd that when we entered the room, the window was open. Called down to inquire and were offered a box fan, so needless to say, a very uncomfortable and sleepless night.

Not the best Novotel, you're better off either saving money and staying at an Ibis or looking for better hotels in the price range. Very basic room, although the location is very good for London Olympia and the close the underground station. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Wish rooms would improve.

Me personally never write a review for anything,i mean u pay for what u get,but this hotel upset me too much,nothing but just the front dest services,its POOR and the slowest service i everr had,its just ridiculous,if you dont mind waiting an hour to check in your room after a day journey, then ignore my review .

Lobby was modern, room and corridor were tired and old looking. Asked for high floor and view but was given low floor facing ugly inner area (all concrete with rubbish blowing around in it) so the room was a little dark and dingy, it was also quite small which is pretty common in London but there was very little storage space for clothes and suitcases, the coffee provided in the room was instant, would have been nice to have fresh coffee facilities. Receptionist was not very friendly or approachable, we stood there a short while before she acknowledged us then she wasn't very forthcoming. Breakfast was ok though a lot of fried greasy food, would suggest adding more healthy options. Breakfast staff were very friendly and efficient. Location was good, close to underground, price was average for London though we have stayed in nicer places for the same budget. Overall our experience was fine but I was a little disappointed with the room and would probably stay somewhere else next time.

More cleaning improvement in the room and on each floor, plus the water pressure.

I d rate it 3.5 if that was possible. It is a 4 stars hotel, pretty convenient with several restaurants, a gym, and all the facilities of a 4 stars hotel. The rooms are spacious and have windows. However, in hotels i really care about the feel a hotel gives you, the warmth and the comfort, both not too special in novotel

It was a satisfactory hotel. Clean and spacious beyond expectations.
The security was good and the station area! The staff was very friendly and I had a problem with the reservation. Thanks to this, I solved it well and got a breakfast coupon.
Written and breakfast was pretty good too :) I was worried because it was relatively remote
There were all the buses going to the city in front of the station, and most of them are terminal points, so even if you wander all day, it's good to get there if you just ride the bus It's so close to Stamford Bridge!! Oh, instead, in summer, the sun sets later than the last bus, so it's a dark Tower Bridge. You won't be able to see the night view..

1) I couldn t sleep at night because Air condition wasn t working.
2) bad smell Sanitation coming from bathroom.
3) I asked for a check out time at 13:00 and my request was declined.
4) The operator will hardly answer the call.
5) The walkup call system by phone is not working.

I am a regular customer of Paddington Novotel. By mistake I booked the Novotel West instead of Paddington. It is true that the rate chosen was non-refundable, but there was no flexibility in the face of my requests.

Went to an IET event. Meeting rooms are lovely. Staff are very polite too.

I liked the location, close to stores and the tube, the bed was very comfortable. Some parts of the hotel needs improvements such as the carpet and it will be nice if the TV was larger.

The room was cold. There was a mix up with the credit card leaving my friend out of money for the month and the issue wasn't resolved quickly. Breakfast is good.

Good space for medium sized exhibitions and conference.

The staff at check-in were very helpful as we had 2 reservations which they sorted so we could stay in 1 room rather than moving. The room itself was a decent size and the bed was very comfy, however our room was on the side of the hotel overlooking the very busy dual carriage way which could trouble light sleepers (especially the sirens) but we were mostly too tired to notice. We had an issue with the plumbing that was sorted by the time we returned to the room the first day , however cleaning staff etc around the hotel seemed to mumble/ignore guests in the corridors. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, again staff here are hit and miss- the greeters are very friendly but it depends who you get for the rest of the time, some are efficient and friendly, others aren't. We found the lifts to be an issue- reception being on the first floor sometimes meant it was quicker to get in a lift and go down and back up rather than wait to just go up, a bit quirky really. Overall this hotel has its pros and cons but if you want a comfy bed and a decent breakfast to set you up for a day at a convention at the Olympia (a 10 minute walk down the road)- like we did, then this should be just fine.

Disappointed that you have to pay for Disabled parking and staff are not helpful at all. Otherwise nice environment.

Busy London hotel. Quite impersonal service and moderately hectic environment. Needs a better lounge area to meet and work

My 4th time at Novotel London West. Perfect again. Quality hotel, everything works, friendly staff. Hammersmith is the Ideal location for me. Will keep coming back every time I am in London..

Nice hotel located in Hammersmith with decent sized rooms. The food from restaurant was good. In house restaurant is Artisan and they do chargrill meals. The salmon was well cooked and delicious which I had with rocket and parmesan salad. Food decently priced. The chef was kind enough to rustle up a meal so close to the kitchen being shut. The service from bar staff was lovely. All in all, worth a try.

Rude staff. Turned away from reception by night staff cause they're too lazy to do their job and the guy lied about his name... Mohammed Ali... Yeah right. The Novotel hotel chain is substandard. Never recommend it to anyone.

I have visited this hotel numerous times over the past 10 years for various conferences, training days and also socially with family. I have never been disappointed with the facilities or staff which has always been to a high standard. The food is always good and the location means it is easy to access by rail or car if coming from outside the city. Highly recommended for all occasions.

Very friendly and very nice staff, the breakfast had a large selection of food, but some were a little oily. The room was clean and very tidy. In spite of the bathroom ventilator was not working and almost falling down. The common parts of the hotel were not so clean, we had a vacuum cleaner on our door step for 4 days. Also the dinner buffet was good quality/price relation. Excelent was the staff that was attentive, very nice, very friendly, competent, always trying to help and trying to improve our stay in every way.

Terrible access equipment. Please invest in a scissor lift

Staff are excellent, and the space had been very well adapted by the Nine Worlds crew. The food, however, continues to be overpriced and shockingly dire.

Nice bar area, dreadful room. They need a serious amount of work to update them. There's plenty of other hotels nearby for the same price that can offer you a little more luxury in the bedrooms.

Really nice venue and impressive champagne suite but although high standards, service quality for price is not justifying the full premium price

I asked for room service for breakfast. There was a device that made it possible to select various types such as cereals and breads and not get bored.

I have attended conferences at the Novotel 3 years in a row, each time they were a single day event.



The hotel is modern and well presented, with bars and a restaurant on the ground floor. The buffet lunch was excellent.

Conference facilities seemed modern, with large rooms for keynotes, and smaller rooms for break-outs. Coffee and snacks were plentiful and kept topped-up

The Novotel London West has excellent conference and event facilities . With 33 flexible event spaces, it is able to accommodate events of up to 1,000 people.

Welcome, room and breakfast very good. Location convenient. Food in the bar poor value and mediocre quality.

A very large hotel with the most classy and chic amenities. Restaurant / bars very convenient and meals had to taste. The only downside is the maintenance of the rooms which is a little dated.

Its a very fancy and big hotel, i felt the clothes i was wearing wasn't fancy enough. But great hotel and great food.

On a training course here, very nice! Wide variety of food to choose from for lunch.

Room was fine, adequate for money. Lists and corridors were a bit dingy - the money has definitely been spent in the reception area which is modern and lovely. On check out staff were particularly disinterested.

Stayed on floor 4. Room was comfy though plug socket next to bed only worked with the plug half-way in.... More bothersome was the smoking room nearby; I was rather surprised to find that the hotel even had smoking rooms (is this the 1960s?); at any rate having to walk past it was extremely unpleasant; would've asked for a different room if I'd been put any closer to it.

The room doors are designed to be slammed shut so there was a fair amount of noise during the late evening. Earplugs recommended.

Staff were generally helpful; appreciated the speedy check-in/checkout.

Very good service, the rooms and bedding are very correct, friendly staff and the restaurant of the hotel is also very good with a very friendly service

We had a good stay pretty easy to get to from the M4.

Probably Hammersmith's best hotel. I was working here, in a conference room, not staying as a resident. The lunchtime buffet in the Aroma restaurant is excellent, with a different carved meat roast available each day along with many other choices. Recommended - unless you want some specific exotic foreign dishes (unfortunately my colleagues did, which was not fair on the restaurant).
