Really enjoy stay in novotel amsterdam, near to public transport its really helpfuy to me

Very friendly and welcoming staff peaking into an upgrade for and refurbished room. The breakfast was out of the ordinary and ver delicious. the room (especially the bathroom) was fantastic.

Very crowded room Small shower barely showers.
The extra bed in the room is disgusting and the floor is unclean, the service of the head of the reception staff is very disappointing (not suitable for assistants).

Attending a conference here, very well setup, very nice hotel.

Carpet in our room was covered with various stains. Under the bed were utensils from previous guests and dust. Bath attachment darkly calcified. Windows should be used urgently. 145 the double room without breakfast ... Staff is very friendly. Parking space additional 22 per night.

Very nice hotel which is conveniently located in Amsterdam South. The hotel is very nice and presents beautifully. The staff are super friendly, very accommodating, extremely nice and welcoming. The hotel offers a fitness centre which is great to have. The breakfast hall was also great, plenty to pick from and even comes with a Chinese cuisine section which mirrors the international clientele they have.

Good value. Good transport links for easy access into Amsterdam and to the airport.

Although the hotel was on the outskirts, it was easy to get to. It was clean and the staff were pleasant. If you don't need to be in the middle of Amsterdam then this is the place for you.

This is our 3rd visit to Novotel. We have enjoyed very visit so far and find the staff and environment excellent. The upgraded rooms make the overall experience even better and the breakfasts are superb. The only downside was the sink in our bathroom - it had no plug and was shallow. This made a wet shave difficult. Also the shower screen wasn't wide enough; water sprayed everywhere but these aren't massive issues.
Now we are a member we benefit more every time we come back.

Excellent treatment of all the staff and cleanliness of the rooms.

Al was good, breakfasts are fabulous, rooms are spacious.
Just a note - irons are without steam so they dont iron... maybe if not possible to change irons - add vaporizators to the rooms (maybe upon request)

Very nice hotel, which is relatively central. From there you have a good connection to the center of Amsterdam.

Overall very good, let down badly by the restaurant. We had booked a romantic weekend away for two - this is important as you will see later.
We booked a table, and seated, but were not given a drinks/wine menu, nor told about specials - we had to ask a member of staff for the drinks menu.
When the meal came my partners salmon was not cooked. We returned it and were told they would cook the salmon some more. I continued to eat my meal alone, otherwise it would have got cold - this was supposed to be a romantic meal for 2, not 1! Eventually my partners meal arrive, but by then I had virtually finished mine - so we ate separate meals. No apology or deduction from the final bill - no tip left - very disappointed.

Really nice city hotel! Rooms are basic but kept clean and modern. Sauna area is immaculate, and very well laid out, separate male and female sauna rooms with the showers/toilet just outside the door which extremely handy! Free apples in the fitness which is a lovely idea! The restaurant in this hotel is very good, and the bar staff are so friendly and would go out of their way to help! My partner is a Liverpool football supporter and the bar staff promised him they would get the match on for him the following night which they did. Hotel is a 10 min walk from a lovely shopping mall with a lot of desginer shops! It's also a short walk from the train which is extremely handy. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Amsterdam as it's only a sort uber ride from dam square!

I stayed at Novotel Amsterdam City for a 2 day city trip in Amsterdam. The hotel is ideal for this because the RAI metro stop is located nearby and tram 4 also stops nearby. This ensures that you will be in the center of Amsterdam in a maximum of half an hour. The parking of the hotel is on the expensive side but during the weekend you can park for free in the surrounding streets or very cheap in P + R RAI.

The room was spacious and tidy and equipped with the necessary comfort. I opted for a renovated room and it was pretty nice and stylish. In the bathroom there is a large walk-in shower and enough places to get ready for the day. If you have two toilet bags, perhaps one should remain in the room. But that is often the case with hotels. In the room there is more than enough storage space for that. In the exclusive room I had there was also a Nespresso machine and the minibar was filled with soft drinks and beer. However, in a regular room there is also a kettle and minibar with a bottle of water.

The first evening my partner and I didn't feel like going into the city so we ate something in the restaurant of the hotel itself. This was tasty and quality. Moreover, the dishes were best presented beautifully. The restaurant is on the big side. Thanks to smart partitions and the nice interior, you fortunately have no canteen feeling.

The beds are comfortable. In the room it was quiet at night even though the hotel is located right on a highway. However, a tip is to keep the window closed at night. This isolates the street noise really well.

The breakfast was very extensive. Different types of bread, savory and sweet toppings. Hot items such as scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, etc. were also provided. What was very nice is that you can also have scrambled eggs made with extra toppings such as cheese and mushrooms or you can also go for a fried egg. Also an extensive assortment of cereals, fruit and yogurt were not missing. The first day there were also poffertjes. The second day these were not on the buffet and unfortunately no alternative. However, I did not miss them and did not specifically ask for them. The only minor downside for the hot chocolate drinkers is that there is only 1 machine where this can be taken and it is in the bar area.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Novotel Amsterdam City and we will definitely consider this hotel on a return visit. Maybe I also use the fitness facilities or the sauna.

Best, renovated Novotel standard. The beds again a dream! I particularly liked the mini "supermarket" in the lobby, in addition to 24 hours accessible. Metro station nearby.

Food is not very good and not much choice. No free water each day... only one bottle on the first day, could do better! Most hotels i stay in in Amsterdam every week have free water every day, such a small gesture goes a long way.

Rooms are small but okay. Price for breakfast is a joke!

It was a very good hotel with sauna,gim,gamesroom and very good food the staff was so friendly and helpful in the room there is a coffee machine,speaker,bigTV, and very comfortable bed .I enjoyed it it was very good

Hotel comfortable, clean and with good soundproofing. The only negative is the poor image of food trays being removed in the hallways.

Other than a small bathroom, the room is comfortable, breakfast good, the hotel is pretty good and the area is quiet.

Organized a business meeting, everything arranged down to the last detail!

Hotel Novotel is located outside the city centre very near to Station RAI, which provides convenient transportation to the city centre. I thought that the less central location would be an annoyance but with the tram and metro links you are never more than 15 minutes from the bustling centre and tourist attractions. The rooms at this 4 star hotel are modern and luxurious, with a rain shower, mini fridge and huge television. The only issue with this hotel is the expensive breakfast - if you are looking to save cash I recommend eating out. Overall a relaxing experience.

We stayed in refurbished and clean rooms. The decoration is perfectly simple and aesthetically harmonious. The furnishing is adequate and functional. The environment was warm and gave you the feeling of feeling comfortable and homely. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The morning was rich and had many choices. The location of the hotel is quite handy with regard to the means of transport, although at the border of the city center. The experience in the bar and the restaurant is quite good.

EASY TO FIND FROM CENTRAL STATION. BUY A GVB PASS (at the station before you set off ) FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR STAY (4 days around 20 euros.) TAKE NO 4 TRAM FROM CENTRAL STATION OR NO 51 METRO., GET OFF AT RAI
( remember to swipe your card on and going off ) journey is around 10 min on Metro, about 20min on tram. Hotel Novotel is 2min walk away from either selected transport. Hotel is very clean, reception staff helpful, rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty choice for everyone's taste. Very little selection on the evening menu, but the quality was very good. With the easy accessible transport into the center of Amsterdam for couples and families we thought this Hotel was value for money.

As a club member, I would appreciate it if a reduced parking fee is applied. General impression great hotel where life is good.

Overall experience was not up to par. No amenities in one of the best rooms. Locked TV, no change of linnens no vanity, toothbrush, etc kits. Even when asked for we were directed to the reception, where we were able to grab toothbrushes and a shaving kit. While being asked for why we don't have our own. Cotton pads(disks) were not given upon request and when we brought our own, they were taken by the cleaning crew! No minibar, requested water from the roomservice, and were told to go buy it from the shop in the lobby. And guess what there POS terminal didn't work. The only real great thing appart from being able to sleep in a bed, was the breakfast, which was actually very good.

I can only say good hotel area but please be careful with the rip off.

Located in the business district of Amsterdam, the hotel is not in the city center, but can reach the center of Amsterdam with the tram station next door!
Hotel which manages to marry professional stay the week, and stays leisure on the weekend and during the period of the holidays! The clientele is very international:

Partner stayed here. Despite being winter, the rooms were so hot at night she couldn't sleep because the room was overheating, and even left the windows open at night. WiFi was only available in certain spots at the ground floor and even then, it cuts out and the quality of the connection is horrendous.

Fantastic breakfast ... never seen so much food in a hotel at breakfast ... even mulberry! Ideal for families with children. They require a deposit of 70 euros which they return to your credit card within 10 working days.

Location: out of town, a little too far out if you plan to use it as a base to visit the city unless you use public transport.
Cleanliness: very good.
Rooms: a sore point. The rooms are small, and if you pull out the third bed it becomes almost impossible to move inside with 3 suitcases. In addition, the table in the room prevents the third bed from being opened and to move it you always end up having it between your feet.

after one month I'm still waiting for my "authorization" to be paied back. The hotel took debits of the credit card for no reason and wanted our hotel room to be paied twice. When we checked in and for the second time when we checked out.
