This withholding money for 24 hrs is uncalled for. Thanks to PayPal I now owe late fees on bills all because of this illegal holding of funds. Denying someone of there own funds is illegal.

They employ people who can t speak English. They also can t comprehend basic thoughts and ideas. Poor service that is only getting worse. They are just as pathetic as eBay.

Pay pal credit is the worst credit card I ever used, I was being charged for two items that I didn't receive and I disputed them and they charged me late fees while they were being disputed and they say the items were delivered in my city but they were never delivered to my address so I paid for those 2 items just to have my credit remain good and to get them off my back. I will never use pay pal again as long as I live, they are the worst!

PayPal is worthless. I sold an item on Ebay and they put my money on HOLD and wont let me have the money until the buyer receives the item...BUT..part of the money that PayPal is holding is for the shipping cots. How am i supposed to ship it when they are holding the shipping money??????? If the buyer gets the item but he lies says he didnt...i lose all the shipping costs and i dont get my money but the buyer gets his item and i had to pay for it. F'ing criminals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH PAYPAL EVER!!! I hope this company goes bankrupt!

So I've had PayPal for a few years now never had a issues. Well unfortunately I ran into hard times due to a accident and cant work a friend sent me money to pay my insurance and PayPal puts it on hold says I'm a seller a business I'm not .now I have set up my insurance policy again and pay 400 dollars and I cant because now o dont have the money nor can I drove my vehicles without insurance

I purchased an item online and trusted the purchase because it was used with PayPal. I received a tracking number from the seller and looked forward to my purchase being delivered. The purchase was delivered to another address. After doing some basic research, I learned that this company takes your money, steals a real tracking number from UPS or a legitimate company and you never hear from them again and you never get the product you ordered. This experience is well documented on many websites that the same experience happens to every customer. The tracking number that was stolen was from a pool company that sent a filter system to a legitimate customer, because UPS gave me the address and I visited that customer. I ordered furniture shelves that this company has nothing to do with. The pool company has started a fraud investigation. UPS agrees it was fraud and has started a fraud investigation.
PayPal literally says they do not care and that tracking number was provided by the seller (the stolen tracking number from a different company and delivered to another address not mine). I'm out my money and no product and no resolution and PayPal says tough luck. I have contacted them 4 times to give them a chance to rectify their wrong. I will NEVER USE PAYPAL ever again and would never trust them. They stand behind criminal behavior and tell customers who use them tough luck if they don't get a product that was purchased. If it turns out that UPS is being hacked and this looks like a big scam operation the FBI will get involved, but PayPal stands behind criminal behavior and aides and abets criminals.

Paypal is a big SCAM!!!!
They freeze your business account without any reason.
Is a robot com company, no real customer support.
Phone is dead.
After your business money is freeze for 180days without any dispute possibility.

if i could give no stars i would, absolutely atrocious customer service and a hassle to deal with. i do not suggest any one under any circumstance use this company!

Waited till my account accumulated over 10k and suddenly "restricted" the funds. Customer service was useless drones from the Philippines who could not provide a reason why other telling me the obvious that the funds would be held for 6 months.

I initiated instant money transfer to my bank account on 11/8 of $558 but it never transferred to my bank nor fund isn t available in Paypal account as well. I called Paypal and they said that it will be resolved within 24-48 hours but today is 11/17 and my money is still missing same time I don t have any updates from Paypal yet. Reason people pays extra fees to use the instant transfer is because they urgently need fund available to them. It s been a 9 days since the transfer and I would not trust Paypal as a reliable financial institution.

If you're in a business that involves running credit cards, make sure you can physically swipe the cards and not have to punch the numbers in by hand. Otherwise, PayPal will hold your money for a month until it is verified.

This is the worst business you can every do business with. They really stole $1100 from a college student. Also these people are liars they told me they only credit the seller.

Scammed and I thought I would be fine since they sent notifications to my phone asking if I made a payment "Reply 1 if yes or 2 if no. [Reply Needed]". However, i found out that i sent the No response "too late" which implies to me that this process was nothing more than security theater.

PayPal/PayPal Credit took a payment & is still charging me for it. They transferred me FIVE times to "a person that will resolve the issue for [me]" during a worthless 45-minute call. This is one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with.

If you're here looking at the comments, you know how bad their service is. How is this company still alive? Anyone working in Paypal should stop working for them. They robbed so many innocent people for their living money.

Try chasing a human employee here, For customer service and you may as well shoot yourself in the head! customer service here does not exist!!!

If you ever have your account compromised and try to get a refund, good luck. I have spent nearly 5 hours over the past week through the mobile app, the website on desktop, and over the phone (mostly being placed on hold and transferred multiple times) to get a simple, unauthorized transaction refunded. As soon as I saw the unauthorized transaction had occurred, I changed my passwords, logged out of all devices, and filed a claim. My claim was denied, citing the transaction was consistent with my use of PayPal. Appealing a denial is difficult to find and submit (I believe intentionally). I am thoroughly unimpressed. This experience with an unauthorized transaction being denied refund is thoroughly inconsistent with my usual PayPal experience, which is fine: it's another way to securely pay. The use of chatbots and overseas contact centers is particularly aggravating, as their script limits their ability to comprehend, as a computer or a person, that if I am the only authorized user of an account and I tell you a transaction is unauthorized, then that transaction is unauthorized. Absurd.

A friend recently sent my money back using pay pal.. the system placed a hold on my funds as if we were a business selling & purchasing. A hold up to 21 days.. i cant get ahold of anyone during this time. I need my funds during this crisis & pay pal has withheld them ,making things worse. I am very unhappy with this.

On 10/16 I sold an Authentic Chanel purse on Ebay, the customer got the purse on 10/25. My payment was release from Ebay on 11/3 and on 11/4 I tried to withdraw the payment from my PayPal acct but it was denied 2x, I sent my driver's license and the tracking number then call into customer service and was told several reasons. 1. Ebay holding the money (not true because it was release on 11/3) 2. My bank reject payment(not true again ) 3. Since it is a higher amount It needs to be verified for 72 hours. I advise that the website said it is limited now and the rep says" oh ok then I will send you to that department "YOU CAN UNDERSTAND HOW THIS MAY UPSET ANYONE WHO IS NOT BEING TOLD OF THE CORRECT REASON" . Chris came on the line and I explained the issue and the reason I'm upset and the many reasons I was given that the payment was denied. Chris said "No, it is because your name is (N Etienne) I stated" I've had the account over a year, made purchases, got refunded, and no one told me this was an issue or to write my full first name also my work email matches my name" then Chris says " another account by the name Naike Gabriel is on file" I advise that is NOT my name and has nothing to do with me. Chris says" he is locking my PayPal account" I asked for a manager then Tim comes on the line and ask how can he help? After being on the phone for over 2 hours I have to explain a 3rd time?? He says he was told the account was limited and I will get the money in 180 days. I asked several times the reason? I have not violated any thing, I have no charge backs or complaints. Tim just said " he doesn't have to tell me and I am a security risk'' How am I a security risk when I sold a purse on Ebay and the money was releases to me? This isn t payment someone sent me it was an item someone from eBay purchase from me , my eBay account is in good standing as well ,this money is rightfully mine. Why would I have to wait 6 months for my money, a purchase since 10/16 that has met eBay requirements. I have done nothing wrong. This is my money that a customer paid me for my Authentic Chanel purse. (1) purchase, I'm not selling in bulk, (1) sold item, customer received over 2 weeks ago, I've had PayPal since 2017 with NO complaints, chargebacks, nothing wrong BUT it was locked after I sent my driver license and the tracking number.If N Etienne was an issue why did no agents ever say anything? I would have change it to my full first name. I always use N Etienne btw look at my DL signature, it is signed ( N Etienne).

They actively support fraud by accepting that a buyer on ebay gets his money back after purchasing something on ebay which is not protected by the paypal terms. Even after proofing the delivery they rely on "suspicious" activity in the buyers paypal account. I do not give anything on suspicious activities in the paypal account if that same buyer has done the purchase himself.

I was supposed to receive my direct deposit on the 15th. They have given me all sorts of excuses. The head supervisor Mikee was rude and heartless. The problem still hasn t been resolved. They lost my money. Refuses to help me.

Initially I respected PayPal and their propensity to protect account holders. My opinion has changed drastically. I recently logged onto a site perpetrating as Lysol.com and placed a $60 order, I immensely checked my PP act to find the seller s name as ELIZABETH GOMEZ. I contacted PP to cancel, however no CS reps were available, so I tried to cancel on PP, the system would not allow. I sent an email to the SCAMMER, no response. The next day, 9/28/20, I spoke with a PP rep and explained the situation, he refused to cancel. I was told zi could file a dispute, which I reported it as fraud, PP denied. I have repeatedly sent emails to E. G. separate from PP AND ALSO THROUGH PP TO NO AVAIL. NOW THAT I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THE ITEMS, I CAN NOT REACH PP TO SOEAK TO A REP, NOR WILL THE SYSTEM ALLOW ME TO FILE ANOTHER DISPUTE REGARDING NON-RECEIPT.
I HAVE LOST ALL RESPECT FOR THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE COMPLICIT IN AIDING THIS FRAUD BY ALLOWING THIS PERSON TO CONTINUE USING THEIR PP ACCOUNT.
DO NOT TRUST PAYPAL WITH YOUR $$$$

Can't get anyone in California Paypal office. My calls are routed out of the country with people who don't know how to handle my problem. So far I have placed THREE phone calls and still they have not placed the money reimbursed to me by the seller. The charge was made with my card, thus should be returned to my card. Basically Paypal hijacked my refund and is holding onto it. Meanwhile my card was charged.

The campus is fairly large but the exterior is always kept up nicely and the park path that runs along the building makes for beautiful morning walks... that is if you can deal with occasional traffic noises.

Paypal is a fraud and a scam. They can limit your account for any reason preventing you from withdrawing your money and they have no time limit on how long they plan to take to remove the limitation. Poor customer service. You work hard, they keep your money and come up with bogus excuses about their legal team, who by the way does not have a phone number. They deserve 0 stars.

the pay pal quickly threatens to collect is well known. in the vast majority of cases, however, these are only so-called intimidations. what exactly was in your case is unfortunately not apparent in your comment. but think really carefully about paying to debt collection. check if you are really right, then you can answer first: we are happy to meet in court. should a collection agent be at your door ..... get the police immediately. Most of these collection agents flee because they have to report the problem to the police in writing. that is not right for them. in addition, it is anyway without an original, handwritten signed, (with two different signatures - bottom left and right) certified judicial decision nothing in very many cases, debt collection even offers you a comparison, which is a so-called admission of debt by pay pal and debt collection. if they really didn't let themselves owe anything and can prove it, then they let everything come to them. in most cases, pay pal and debt collection will withdraw. However, this only works for people who have the patience to create such associations as pay pal and debt collection, and the KSP debt collection association in particular is very well known for its dubiousness. a lot of people pay for collection due to fear. just like pay pal they earn a golden nose due to the ignorance and fear of the people. and finally: like many other people, use the iban or the direct payment method. it is difficult in the stomach
