I have had a great experience with the Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce as a business owner in the county. I tell people all the time that I feel more connected to my community than I ever have since starting a business and joining the chamber.
If you're thinking about opening a business in Nicholasville, think twice. Their tax policy is extremely anti-business. They require you to pay both county and city profit license fees (tax). It's like paying double tax. Same with occupational taxes. The work force is also very limited. Look elsewhere.

Jessamine County has one of the most active and robust chambers of commerce in the entire state of Kentucky. You (likely) won't find a more dedicated and caring group of local leaders. I should know - I've had the privilege to serve as a chamber ambassador (nearly 30 of us) for the past three years.
The Jessamine Chamber hosts relevant breakfasts (with local, state and national leaders) as well as monthly luncheons that enable members to network and learn something new.
