Very helpful staff. Large variety and good pricing

Absolutely love visiting NPH! This is my favorite place to shop for Christian books, gifts, cards, and music. I have many memories of going here with my parents and enjoy it even more as an adult.

I have always loved shopping at Northwestern. Lovely store and wide selection of in stock items of Lutheran print items.

Store is closing in the fall 2018 . Great place for Christian books and other stuff like t-shirts wooden statue. They will still be open on line only. Very sad to see this store close. This is one of the last Christian stores in the Milwaukee area. I Will still shop on line. Plenty of parking place and staff is very helpful. I had a hard time finding a study book and they knew just what i was looking for.

I miss this place. There now is no more places to walk in and get Christian books or music. I loved shopping and being able to look at a book before you buy now every thing is on line and you just can't pick it up and go.

They no longer have a store. Their offices moved but the store closed. All purchases have to be done online. When you call them you will get a friendly person who can help you with your purchase.

Had shopped at the Northwestern Publishing House Store for at least 30 years. It was one of the more fruitful, Christian ministries in the area that provided Christian items, cards, books, etc. for all ages. They were conscientious in their efforts to be biblical. Not like other stores that sell anything called Christian. Just walking around the store, looking at the various items while listening to Christian music, was encouraging to my faith. A breath of fresh air in a world that s increasingly becoming darker.
It was such a disappointment to hear last year that the store was going to be closed down and the building sold. Driving by the building with the for sale sign on it, was a reminder of the sign of the times, yet another important Christian light for the gospel of Jesus Christ is dimmed. Whoever made this decision made a big mistake. A Christian store like this is needed more than ever. It wasn t just a store for profit but had a vital role in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the area and encouraging many others in their Christian faith also.
There is a place for selling on line but not at the expense of the vital role the store itself had. It was a poor business decision to close it down. Before Northwestern Publishing House Store was closed, the Family Christian Bookstores closed down in the area, so there was less competition and more of an opportunity to fill the void created by their closings. Instead of having a wise business plan for the store, they chose a short cut and closed down too.
I will be going to check out The Elmbrook Christian Bookstore in Brookfield. If the Northwestern Publishing House Store were still open and continuing the great work it was doing, I would have given them a 5 star rating. Sadly, only giving a 2.
