Went in for a simple tire rotation and was told my brakes we're really bad and it would cost $170 to get them replaced. Took the car home and got ready to replace the brakes and found the pads we're only half gone. Thankfully I didn't pay the $170 to get new brakes put on. However they did do a very quick job at rotating the tires. < 1 hour

Came in for a flat tire and before talking to anyone an out brake light was brought to my attention when entering, which I would have never noticed. After inspection on the 12 year old tire, a leaky valve was found to be the problem which they replaced instead of an over sale of new tires they said wasn't needed. Work was unbelievably fast and will come back in the future.

i would recommend this shop. had car worth about 500 towed to the shop and they did the best they could to get it started again but the repair was going to cost more than the car. after about 3 weeks of me not answering my phone and leaving car in their lot i decided to have it junked for a few hundred$ and just buy a new car. they were very patient and reasonable during this whole process. i thank the management and would recommend this repair shop.

Excellent service. Lobby and waiting area is clean and pleasant and has a wall-mounted TV with remote (so you can switch channels or turn it down if it gets annoying) and a cell phone charging station. Mark was very knowledgeable and answered a bunch of other questions I had about possible service. I would have my oil changed here again.

PULLED INTO THE LOT AT 4:50PM WITH A FLAT TIRE.I WAS TOLD THEY CLOSE AT 5PM SO ALL THEY COULD DO WAS GIVE ME AIR.I ASKED IF MAYBE THEY COULD JUST PUT ON THE SPARE AND FIX THE TIRE IN THE MORNING, AGAIN THEY SAID NO JUST AIR.THANKS FOR LEAVING A 67 YEAR OLD GUY TO CHANG HIS OWN TIRE BECAUSE YOU CAN'T STAY 10 EXTRA MINUTES.They replied that I couldn't wait around but thats false. The sales stays to 6pm but shop goes home at 5pm.Nice try but you are wrong!!!

Great experience. I took my dad to get his tires changed and my dad can be a little inconsiderate of other people'say time. Steve was incredibly patient. I would strongly suggest working with Steve because he is so patient and making a good decision can take time. A lot of sales people might apply pressure and be impatient l. I couldn't believe how patient Steve was.

Yes, had them review two cars for maintenance needed and safety.
One car I am selling, it was very good except for needing rear brakes in 4 to 6 months. This document will be very helpful in selling the car.

This is one of the best car shops I've been to. The staff is very friendly and they do great work. They are very honest and will never overcharge you. I also liked that they went over the diagnostics cost and potential service cost upfront even before taking the car in. I've been there three times so far and planning on coming here exclusively for my car needs.

I've been going to north town for years.
My first and only car is a little rough around the edges. Larry is super helpful with explaining what exactly is happening with my car (in terms I can understand). they've always been able to diagnose the issue and fix it within reasonable time. Cary(Camry but her 'M' fell off) and I both come out happy!

All of my vehicles and those that I here need work are being directed to you all. Service was done quickly and time was taken to review the individual circumstances with me as work was being done. Final review of work and bill was presented in a very professional and courteous manner.

Northtown Auto Service is really an exceptional auto mechanic. I have used their service three times now.

The first time was for our RV. We had it at another place that was telling us it would take weeks to get the part needed and quoted us an outrageous amount. I called Northtown for the first time and they had it fixed within a few days and a couple HUNDRED dollars less than the other place quoted. So first high score... I also noticed that they did not talk down to me ... which is often the case as a women looking for auto services.

Second time I used their services ....a light came on in my car on my way home from the city so I called and they said I could come straight there to see what was going on. When I got there they plugged it in...checked whatever needed to be checked and since nothing was wrong they didnt charge me ANYTHING. Totally free peace of mind...awesome!

Third time...my blinker stopped working...they got me in half an hour later and after twenty minutes and an incredibly reasonable price...problem solved....within an hour of the blinker going out!

The people who work here are so very friendly... each time Steven the service advisor has help me and he is just so personable! They have proven over and over now that they really are honest and so efficient. Even the waiting area is awesome...they have a multiple device charging station! Seriously...This place actually makes me not dread taking my car in.

Had a tire going flat on a Saturday and knew Northtown was nearby and open. It was midafternoon and they were able to look at it right away and within minutes found the problem...a screw on the inner edge. Rather then try to repair (which they didn t recommend due to location of puncture) or try to sell me a tire, they recommended I wait until Monday and go back to where we had bought the tires recently to see if it was under some kind of road hazzard warranty or if they would work with us since it was such a fairly new tire. AND they wouldn t let me pay them anything for their time in diagnosing the problem. What a class act! I will definitely be taking some of my business to Northtown! Thanks guys!

It went well. I needed a new tire for my wife s Hyundai Elantra. It had to be ordered. I was told it would be there the next day. It was. I made an appointment for the next day to have it installed. I was in and out , time appropriate.

This place is one of the best car care places I've ever experienced. Very thorough complete analysis of car and pictures of any issues. The software they use for communication as well as their customer service is top notch. I usually get a cringy feeling going to get my car fixed but not this time everything was exactly as they explained and it was honestly communicated.

Best auto repair experience I've ever had! If great value is what you are looking for than this is the place. They do a great job diagnosing difficult repair issues. I was tired of always taking the cheap route and doing the very minimal to repair an engine issue, which in the long run it ended up costing time and money. I was drawn to this place because of their solid Google reputation compared to other shops in the area. I very happily give them a 5 star review and recommendation.

UPDATE 2: Wound up being a really good experience and I'm particularly appreciative of Carlos, who reached out and worked with me on this, they wound up giving me a new tire, installed at no cost. They really seem like a genuine group of guys and will be using them in the future.

UPDATE: They reached out after I posted this review with a pretty generous compromise. Still not convinced as far as the quality of Mastercraft tires so not sure if I will be taking them up on the deal or not, but they are making an effort to fix the issue.

Should have listened to the reviews. They are real nice before you buy but if there are any issues after they have their money they do not care.

They sell you on Mastercraft tires which are complete junk. Had them on my truck for 8 days and a hole blows in the sidewall about an inch big while pulling up a gravel driveway. These were the "all-terrain" tires by the way.

Could not find a single thing that would have punctured the tire. Again, these are ALL-TERRAIN tires that failed while driving up a GRAVEL DRIVEWAY.

I called Northtown to be told by that it must have been my fault and I would just have to purchase a new one, not willing to work with me at all. This is after handing them $900 just the week before.

Lesson learned, I'll stick to reputable places and quality tires. What a waste of time and money.

I bought four tires at Northtown Tire and after 14 months and 13,000 miles all four started leaking at the rim within a two week period. I brought the car in and was told that the warranty was up at twelve months and that it would be a $140.00 charge to re-seal them. I thought that was nuts so I left in a huff. I was contacted by Steve and he said I should bring the car back and he'd look at it. He told me that all four tires were indeed leaking and that the leaks caused the back tires to wear unevenly and would need to be replaced. I was skeptical but agreed to purchase 2 new tires. I was told to leave the car because they have to order the tires. When I picked up the car I had different model tires on the front and back. I contacted the Manager Nick and he actually told me to stay out of the shop and not to contact them. I got kicked out of a tire shop for complaining! Keep this in mind before you use this shop. You may end up on the street when you bring a mistake to their attention!

I had a flat tire and went here for a patch. Great service from Mark & Larry. They were professional, knowledgeable, and the price was amazing. So glad I went here instead of a different place down the road. The owner was working too which is unheard of these days.

Fairly quick service and quality is good but can be sort of rude and noticed them taking advantage of customers that may not be aware of actual problems. Used to go here for oil changes because I do no have the facilities to do it myself but going to the Firestone down the street now. Much more honest. Also better priced services.

I trusted these guys. Then they told me to fix my car they were going to have to take apart and rebuild my transmission to find out what was wrong. Estimate was over $3000. Took it somewhere else. He ran fluid through my transmission lines. Didnt even charge me.

Awful experience! I took my car for rear brakes. Well I left there with a car making a noise in the rear brakes. Took it back and they decide to warranty out the brake pads. Well that did not work. Went back again and was told it was a wheel bearing. Car still is not right. Brake pedal goes almost to the floor. I called and the response I got was, "We don't billed brake line when replacing pads and rotors". I told Nick then the mechanic open my brake line. All I got was "sorry". Do not waste your time or money with this place !!!!!

I have been doing business with Northtown for years. I hadn t been there in a couple years since I had bought a new truck and had general maintenance done at the dealer. After the manufacturer warranty expired I went right back to the best. Glad and did and they will be seeing this truck for the foreseeable future.

My go-to tire shop! I am astounded by the level of detail taken with every inspection, too. The tech takes pictures of each action item, provides justification for it, and sends it all in a text message for you to review. The quality of work performed by Northtown is already top-notch, but this level of engagement, transparency and embracement of technology puts them well ahead of the curve and into the next turn!

My family has been going to Northtown for 30 years. I do not live in the area but my car had some issues while I was visiting with my mom and they took care of it quickly and got me back on the road with minimum delay. The price was fair and the service is always excellent! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy car care.

We've been taking our vehicles here since they opened. They tell you what's wrong(if anything), and will also tell you what HAS to be done immediately and what we might be looking at at some future date. No pushy, hard-sell pressure. Very nice, friendly, knowledgeable bunch.

After just moving to the area I was very discouraged to find shop after shop unable to service my 2015 VW Golf. After searching online I found Northtown Auto Service and Tire Center. They had impeccable reviews so I thought I would give it a try. I gave a call over and spoke with Larry. He was very kind and assured me they could do the service needed on my vehicle. Music to my ears after calling so many places. When I arrived for my appointment I was immediately greeted warmly by the employees and was actually also helped out by Larry. My service was done timely and all of the services were itemized on my receipt and explained to me in detail. They also recommended another service I will need and told me by when it should be done. They were not pushy about this service by any means, just advising. Their waiting room was clean and very open. I would highly recommend this shop for any service you may need. Especially if you have a German car as there were quite a few Mercedes, Audis, Volkswagens, and BMWs in the lot.

Northtown stands by their work! After getting belts changed, things didnt sound right. After several months, the sound turned to a rattle and I went back to Northtown. They found that a pulley was loose from when they had done the belts and fixed it free of charge. NOW THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE.

They are ALWAYS honest and the prices are better than most!

My wife brought her car here a couple weeks ago and they took great care of here. She had some appointments to make around town and they drove here around and picked her up when the car was done. I recently took my car in for something minor and they were able to help me right away. The level of customer service and knowledge is second to none. This place is a rip off and I feel sorry that there are not more choices for people in this area. One of the employees seemed like he was on uppers. I needed my tires off but lost the key for my aftermarket rims. He had a 13 dollar tool that he chareged me 50 bucks to use cause it was "his tool" not hard to get lug nuts off with tool but the guy acted like it was an outrageous request since we didn't have that key....

If i could give this place negative stars I would from the show this jerk put on about my lug nuts. Never going back!!

Not sure why people love this place, I have to assume, like I mentioned before, that it is due to limited choices.

I dropped my car off to get the radiator replaced. I wanted to get my busted headlight fixed too (I already had the replacement part) but after learning how much it will cost me to do just the radiator, I decided to hold off on the headlight. When I went to pick my car up when it was done and much to my surprise, the headlight was switched out, no charge. I know it s not a usual occurrence that work get done for free, but considering the times we re all dealing with right now, it was so much appreciated! I will only use Northtown for all my future care repair needs from now on! I love the digital safety inspection too, it was very easy to understand
