Never eaten anything there that I didn't like. The sandwiches are great, the desserts are amazing and their homemade iced tea are super refreshing. They have gluten free and vegan options for desserts that taste so good.
I had their soup at Soup's On yesterday and it was sooo delicious !
Amazing food and friendly staff! Always difficult to decide what to eat because it's all delicious! I love the Opera Wrap and the Sneaky Peanut Butter Bar. Their cakes are also beautiful and tasty.

One of my favourite lunch places in North Bay. The beautiful historic building makes you want to stick around for a while. Daily lunch specials are always a treat and the soups are as good as you'll find anywhere, changing every day. Highly recommended if you haven't checked this spot out yet.
The only problem is choosing which delicious soup and treat to eat!

We re from Kenora, ON and it was nice change of scenery. I ordered the ROSSINI wrap, and it was delicious! Everything is fresh and the service is fast and friendly!

There's an incredibly wonderful couple that runs the Opera Bakery Cafe! Kiera makes the most incredible baked goods! Her cakes are phenomenal, and you'd never know that the gluten free cakes are gluten free, they're better than the vast majority of other cakes I've had. I'd recommend the lemon bars and butter tarts for sure, along with just about everything else! Jon's gone above and beyond as a business owner to help out his customer's on multiple occasions. He's helped me with last minute orders and recently managed to get me a cake while they were closed. If you're walking along main street definitely stop in for a visit!

Consistently delicious. Very good value for such high quality and quick service. Some creative combinations that will pleasantly surprise you in their wraps. The only possible downside in my opinion, is that the fans and fridges do create a louder than average background.

I had the soup of the day and the daily special sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. Friendly service, charming atmosphere, and comfortable setting. We liked everything so much that we ordered extra pastries to take home after we finished our meal!
Great spot for lunch any day, but particularly on a cold rainy day! Garbanzo bean and chorizo soup with a salad was excellent. Followed by a treat from the bakery case. Next time I m in North Bay I will be back at the Opera Bakery Cafe

Food was fantastic. Service was excellent. We were thanked when we left! Covid protocols were followed. Will be going again and ordering my Christmas baking from them. The selection of baked goods was better than any where else in North Bay. Great job ladies.

I had usually visited for treats. But today I had lunch and I cannot believe I have been missing out on it all this time. My tuna sandwich was to die for. Literally the best tuna sandwich I've ever had. And very reasonably priced. Superb!

Amazing food and drinks. the birthday cake bar tasted a lil weird but still good. The food is way better quality than other cafes downtown and it's healthy and tasty too! I just wish they had more seating. soup and wrap = amazing and good specials too

Fresh food, simple eats and a large choice of treats and baked goods. A great place to drop in for a quick lunch. They offer a place to sit and enjoy your meal. A heads up they do use nuts in some of there baked goods and have found the smell to be present for those more sensitive. That aside I recommend there sandwiches as a quick and simple lunch.
Fantastic lunch, everything homemade (bread, soup etc) and so fresh. Friendly and attentive staff, the flavours are perfectly balanced and the cappuccinos the best in North Bay!
