Freaking amazing food, service, and atmosphere!! Definitely will go there every time we're in town!

Nice place high end for the area pricy but your on the outer Banks

Amazing seafood options. Our large party was sat quickly at prime dinner time hour. Service to our large group was excellent.

My family and I went to dinner here last night. There are 10 of us total, 2 are kids under 5. My husband and I went ahead of the rest to put our name in. We had a 45 minute wait which is completely normal for a large party. We were able to give them our number so we could walk around and shop while we waited for our table. The restaurant itself is small so they can't hold multiple large parties. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was great. The people who ordered surf and turf (of any kind) were very impressed and said the steaks were amazing! It is on the expensive side, but we looked up the prices online so we knew what to expect. We felt like the prices were reasonable for what we got. Overall, this was a great place.

Awesome food. The shrimp appetizer was incredible and the Snapper was very good. We will be back.

My husband, our friend and myself went here last night. We were blown away with how great it was! We have been to several restaurants in OBX and this by far is the best. The wait was long, but hey, it's July in OBX. We sat at the bar and Jordan was our server. He was wonderful and hard working. This is definitely a place we will come every year! Thank ypu!!!

I have stopped here the last two years over Easter weekend and have been told both times by the hostess that they are at capacity and I can t sit at the bar. I can t comment on their food or drinks when I can t get in the door!

Excellent corn chowder. Good crab cake and fish tacos.

I loved this place. The food was very fresh and fast service. My husband order the crab legs and I order the oysters. It was yummy. We paid $20 for 12 oysters and it was well paid. I will definitely be back.

Our family order the seafood platter, ribs, coconut shrimp, ceviche, and salmon all of it was excellent! We'll be back.

Good food. Upper floor of a strip mall. Could see service being slow at times, but our wait time was reasonable.

Restaurant is dark and well air conditioned which was welcoming from a morning in the sun and heat.

Went for lunch. Service felt very rushed, but they had few tables inside and quite a few people waiting so while it was kind of annoying, it was understandable.

Had the crab dip appetizer and it was awesome. Family had a decent spread of the menu and everyone seemed happy with their orders though portions were pretty small, even for lunch.

I got the fish and chips, and it was terrible. Only one small piece of fish which was rubber and very few fries. Came in a goofy funnel shaped basket that tried it's best to tip over whenever touched. Wound up dipping my fries in the remaining crab dip to avoid leaving hungry.

If you find yourself already in the surrounding shopping area it's probably not a bad place to grab a bite, but certainly not worth a special trip here.

This place CONSISTENTLY has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. People have posted that the food is so good and worth the wait and that is simply not true...that must have been an owner commenting on their own restaurant. They are rude, pretentious people that couldn t manage their way out of a paper bag. I wish I could give them zero stars.

Our party of 5 was sat pretty quickly, awesomely friendly staff, food came out fast and hot! I'm from the midwest, and the seafood here is definitely fresh! Also if you like fruity adult drinks, the Liquid Love is to die for!

Sat at the Bar. Derrick the Bar Tender was excellent as was the cocktails. Food was expensive but oh so worth it. Service was spot on. Great Place. Tell Derrick that Bill and Kelly from Atlanta said come see him

scallops wrapped in bacon, crab grenades, calamari, she crab soup, & seafood pasta (sprinkled w/ old bay) were all RIGHTEOUS & highly recommended! the chocolate pudding w/ pretzels & whipped cream was also on point.. the service was phenomenal (best I've ever had)!! the music was great - combo of reggae & nu jazz that had us swaying & dancing in our seats. get there before 5pm to get your name on the list before the dinner rush (doesn't take reservations). our 1 1/2 hour wait only ended up being 1 hour - but def worth the wait!

Another place we visited twice for dinner during our Outer Banks vacation. Terrific fresh seafood food. Good wine selection. Nice wait staff.

This place is DELICIOUS! We came here on a whim for the seafood and I ended up getting the mixed platter of tuna, shrimp and a steak kabob. Let me tell you... the seafood was good, but that steak kabob was the best steak I have ever had! This place is a must try if you re in the area!

Very clean, friendly staff, service & food was excellent. Food was served quickly, and drinks were kept full.

Simple, fresh, local seafood. Generous portion sizes. The seafood isn't overly seasoned (or at all) but that's a good thing here. Try the mashed potatoes! Restaurant is small so plan accordingly.

Excellent place to dine with family! We waited 1.5 hours but it's well worth it and there's a cute little bare right around the corner that we enjoyed cocktails beforehand (The Lounge). The service was great as well!!!

We went for lunch. Excellent food and service. It is a small restaurant with limited seating so might be a wait for a table.

Yellow fin tuna sandwich was delicious. Husband enjoyed fish tacos. Portions for lunch were a generous size. We'd love to return on our next OBX vacation. If you're in town and can get a seat at this place do it. All around great little gem in a heavy shopping area.

Was seated at the bar right at 5:00 when they opened for dinner. We were totally ignored for about 30 min. We got up and left.

We had an absolutely perfect meal and dining experience on a busy Saturday night. The wait for a table was 1 hour +, but being super hungry and only a party of 2, we opted to set at the bar. The bar tender and raw bar steamer were freaking awesome. Super friendly and great at their jobs. The cooks in the back nailed it too, food was prepared perfectly. We'll be back when the left overs are gone. Only gripe is we couldn't find the place after dark, even after talking to the hostess. It's in the upper level of the shopping center directly across from the putt-putt golf. The entire shopping center including the parking lot is VERY poorly lit.

We had the Hush puppies, scallops and crab puffs for our appetizers. Perfect amount for 4 people. I had the steamer combo for dinner and it was perfect! Wish I would have held off on the potatoes and vegetables though. The portion size of the entree was more than enough. Service was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. Definitely recommend trying when you're in Corolla.

Cool space, small and welcoming. Great seafood and unique menu. Always a stop for lunch or dinner when visiting the area.

I love the food at Northbanks. Especially the crab cakes. Service is great . Bar is fun.

My wife and I had dinner and drinks on Tuesday night. All I can say is WOW! They had the freshest seafood I have ever had. The lobster was outstanding. The service was on point, very friendly and there for us whenever needed.
If are in Corolla this is a must stop for Seafood and America fare! We will be back!!

This place has the most friendly, welcoming, and yet, Professional staff, which is huge to us. The food is Off The Charts. The Chefs are Super Clean while doing what they do best, using gloves and continuously wiping counters down. They have the Best Long Island I have ever had, so it's usually one and done. Even better, we recently discovered we could boat to this location, following a brief walk. This is our favorite place to eat and drink, above all places in the OBX.

Nice, active atmosphere, waiter was professional and fun, tried the steamed seafood and the mixed grill...both were excellent.

Hostess wouldnt let us in the bar. Very rude person Asked if I could give a message to a family member sitting at the bar and was refused. I would never eat there .

Excellent experience. Great fried fish platter, with excellent potatoes, and vegetable. Excellent hush puppies with great butter sauce. Service was awesome, food came quickly, drinks stayed full. Well worth the price.

Do not waste your time on careless service and mediocre food. The owner is a real piece of work, as are some of the staff. They did not even take my order with my families before walking away. We were even called by request of the owner, before arriving to rush to the restaurant to meet our group we were barely 10 minutes behind. Because they wanted our larger table empty faster so if for your looking to be rushed, enjoy this is for you. If you want time to chew avoid this place. then when called out about treating us rudely we were ignored then my family, we were kicked out with two young kids. Given some free fries and a fake smile to make it "better" not for families or anyone to waste their time at such an awfully run business with a careless down right mean owner. Oh, and the AC leaked all over my lap so my dinner was extra uncomfortable. Seriously avoid at all costs.0 of 10 recommend. **And I have never had to leave a bad review. Extremely disappointing it would have better to stay home hungry than deal with those people.

It's fine for a quick lunch while shopping at Timbuck II ... But calling a burger roll with pickled fixing on top and a sprig for cilantro a 'banh mi'? Sigh...The cocktails were tasty though. I'd go back but would get something different. The soup seemed really popular.

One of the best restaurants in all of the OBX. Seafood is always excellent as are the desserts. Great staff. Not a big place and very popular so get there early if you don't want to wait, but worth it if you have to and lots of shops close by to pass the time while you do.

This place is incredible. From start to finish, they have the most awesome wait staff, servers, bartenders, food, drinks, music, and ambiance. I can not recommend this place enough to anyone visiting the Outer Banks. The best part about our North Banks visits is how well they treat our little 2.5-year-old girl. They pay her just as much attention as they pay us and have an awesome kids menu to keep your little ones happy. This is a must visit on your Outer Banks vacation! Mama s fave: any of their large salads with the fish of the day! Dad s fave: the Fried Seafood Platter. Our daughter s fave: CRAB GRENADES FOR DAYS. Love the love that goes into this place. Highly recommend.

This is our second year coming here and I just love the crab cakes, same server as last year and he is just a very pleasant guy, hope to be back next year.

Good and popular neighborhood restaurant frequented by the locals. It is not large so a wait for dinner is usual. Servers are efficient and knowledgeable.

Their seafood is awesome! Make reservations if possible for parties larger than 2 or you'll be waiting 2 hours or so

WONDERFUL atmosphere AND food. Servers and bar tenders are always friendly, and make you feel welcome. The renovation looks beautiful, a nice update for a longtime LOCAL FAVORITE place.

We went here with a group of 9, including 3 young kids. Wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was good and came out quickly. I would suggest this to anyone. Tip: very small seating area so get there early.

Had dinner Thursday night. A small line upon our arrival but friendly hostess had us seated right when she said our table would be ready. Food was great as was the service. A great experience all around and highly recommended.
