I have been to Starbucks all over the world: Seattle, Portland, Palm Springs, Paris, London, Rome, Amsterdam, Edinbrugh Scotland, Norfolk. This small Starbucks in Kitty Hawk knocks it out of the park. Slammed and they are smiling and the picture of a real team. Constant motion.

This Starbucks is quite busy during the tourist season. However the staff is always friendly, polite and helpful. My drinks were always made perfectly. Parking is sometimes difficult as the Starbucks shares the parking with other stores.

I have to say you ladies are doing a great job! You have the nicest staff, and I enjoy seeing there smiling faces no matter how busy they are. Keep it up ladies! You rock!!

Starbucks is a rare treat for me. I went in today for the first time in probably over a year. My dad and brother and I were stranded in the parking lot for a couple hours while they tried to fix the truck, so I did my shopping at the Food Lion and decided to treat myself to my favourite from Starbucks, a caramel frappuccino, while I waited. I tried to remember the name of the lady who took my order but I saw too many nametags today while out and about. She has lilac hair and a kind face and she complimented my earrings. She noticed that I am disabled and very respectfully asked if I needed assistance. I didn't, but I always appreciate being asked. I was a bit flustered from the heat and believe it or not talking to people is hard when you're out of practice, so I forgot the names of the drink sizes immediately after she listed them to me. She helped me decide that I wanted a big one. I really wanted to give her a hug for making me feel better about my difficulty with verbal communication. I'll come back after quarantine and give her a hug! The lady who gave me my drink was called Caitlin and she was sweet and the last person I met today so I remembered her name. I took my drink out and found a nice shady spot to enjoy my treat and wait for the truck to cooperate. Today was my first day out of the house in months, and even though it was very hot in the sun, the shade, the breeze, and the ice cold drink were very pleasant. The social interaction was a bonus! I'm home now sipping the last of my drink and smiling about my day.

I went there this morning. The line was a little long so I decided to do a mobile order & just sit & wait. I asked the young blond haired girl what was the location, is it Kitty Hawk? Her response was yeah but you won't get it any faster because there's a long line. Ok, great way to answer a customers question. She definitely took her time to make it since people that were in line after me got their orders first. When she did get my order ready I asked if she stirred it, her response was you probably need to stir it. Ok, not my job, however I will.
She should probably learn how to answer customers questions and not be so condescending.
My other 2 trips to this store were excellent, too bad this girl has no manners and ruined my whole outlook on this store.
I will be calling your Corp office over this. If I'm paying $7.50 for coffee I expect common courtesy from the employees.

Great Starbucks, they handle the mass of tourist well

This is the nicest Starbucks i have ever been in/ The employees make you feel very welcome and they fill your order as if creating a masterpiece just for you.

The Starbucks was extremely inefficient and poorly organized for the first week of July. We placed two mobile orders and each time they chose to work with the customers arriving in the store prior to making the mobile orders as well. The second day 10 other customers were in line for mobile order pickup upon my arrival and I had to wait 25 minutes for a cold coffee and an iced tea at 0650. Recommend hiring additional seasonal staff to help for tourist season.

This is one of the few Starbucks in the area so expect it to be crowded. Even with the long line, my mobile order was processed very quickly. They have their act together at this location. Drink tasted really good, which is the most important thing in my opinion.

Typical Starbucks, very small and extremely crowded in Summer. The staff is pleasant, though this is the South and a vacation spot, so service is relaxed. Though the place seems pretty clean, I am sometimes disturbed by the number of flies that hang out at the bar, but since the door is always being opened I suspect it is more about access than cleanliness. Bathrooms are just ok, as with any Starbucks. Best option order ahead on your mobile for fast service.

It looked as if they were understaffed and I came in when it was packed, but I was amazed how quickly they were working and I had my frappucino in no time. It was clean and the atmosphere around employee's looked great and you could see that they were working as a team. This is a Starbucks that I'm going to be comparing all other Starbucks to.

Very nice little Starbucks with an ultra friendly staff. Clean dining area and clean bathroom. this Starbucks is a welcome sight after crossing the bridge on to the outer Banks.

What you expect for Starbucks.. line was super long... Took over 20min to get a single drink.

The crew is always super friendly and positive, no matter how busy it gets. Definitely one of my favorite Starbucks thanks to the team!

Nice Starbucks. Busy! They had circles on the floor for you to stand 6 feet from others. Unfortunately bathrooms were not open. Some of the baristas are friendly, and others act like you're a bother to them. One in particular really gives off a grumpy vibe, and I'm not a fan

Unreasonable wait for walkin. We waited 25 minutes for one coffee and one specialty coffee.

Absolutely the slowest and most inefficient Starbucks I HAVE EVER been to!!! I want to be clear that I drink Starbucks many days a week and have done this for more than 10 years at many locations across the country. My review is valid!! Ordered ahead in the mobile order app and waited 30 min to get 2 grande coffees. My husband had to go up to the lady at the counter and inquire about our order. The lady replied with, geez it would ve been so much faster had you come in here and ordered from the counter. Really?!? Isn t the purpose of mobile ordering to get faster service? I ordered at 7:45 and didn t get our coffee until 8:12. Beach traffic off the island is naturally going to make this Starbucks busier on Saturday morning but this location by no means is prepared for this!!! Whoever manages this location needs to read this review and take measures to adequately prepare the staff for the rush that occurs on early Saturday mornings between 6-10 am! There is no way that a customer should have to wait nearly 30 min to get drip coffee, no way!! The standards at this location are not Starbucks standards. Fix it!!

Tried the new Nitro Pumpkin Spice cold brew. A MUST if you are a PSL fan and it is 80 degrees. Only issue is I ordered an iced tea latte and waited 15 mins for it. Got lost in translation from register to barista. Staff very apologetic and very courteous.

Good service from the girls that work in there, but the short male manager with glasses was very rude and screamed at us, which is not good customer service. He also did not help them much at trying to get all their customers served. The coffee was good though and that one the only reasons I'm giving this starbucks 2 stars.

These baristas are the most friendly and happy group I've met in a long time! Mobile orders are always on time AND correct. Delicious drinks, as always!

The service here is so bad it drove my mother to tears. They got the name of our order wrong, made us wait over 25 minutes, and literally everything we ordered was either totally different or missing entirely. I m sure it was probably someone else s order. My mother is sobbing. We re probably going to miss our flight. This is my first ever review of something. I m just that salty about how terrible this was.

Always get a great cup of coffee at the southern shores location.

Workers were rude as soon as we walked in, they were rushing to make our coffee and spilled a venti drink which made them more frustrated at us.

What a friendly Starbucks. While we are visiting the area of Kitty Hawk, we drove to this store. Yes, the had never met us, yet, My husband and I felt very welcomed at this store. The personnel are very friendly and give you the sense of a family atmosphere.

We have been to many Starbucks, even the North Myrtle Beach Starbucks doesn t acknowledge our patronage in their store.

Highly recommend! Good coffee place and cozy environment

Staff is always friendly and its never really overcrowded. They have all the heat up bakery items but don't carry much of the ready-made stuff.
I have always had my drinks made correctly even if they are sometimes a little complicated.

Everyone here is so nice and the drinks are amazing! Definitely the best coffee shop to come to on the beach!

I used to frequent Starbucks and would again but I am on a diet and need to lose weight before I step in there again! LOL! Staff very friendly! Terry, the manager, is awesome! She is always nice and wants you to be very happy with your order. Always willing to suggest something if you are not sure.

Fantastic cozy store location, perfect for waiting on your hotel's late afternoon check-in time! Convenient location, close to the beach and other essential shopping. Definitely a great location to take a break in, how ever long that may be!

I often stop at this Starbucks with great satisfaction but today I got an ice cloud coffee that was filled to the top with ice. The drink was ruined. I didn t complain because my husband was waiting for me in the car. I wanted to see where the other half of my coffee was. By the way, this was a vente size full of ice. Very disappointed!

This starbucks with 20 people are already full, no drive thru, they definitely need a bigger place, but the service is excellent and as always. best coffee

I ordered a dragon drink and received a cup filled to the brim with ice and with only coconut milk and some sweetener. I asked about the fruit not being in the drink and it being white (usually purple/red color) and was told they were out and that it only gives it color.

Went out of their way to make what I wanted. I learned a couple things about coffee while I was there too. Great staff!

Place was very clean and service was fast and friendly. Lots of gifts on the shelves if you re looking to bring something nice home to a loved one.

My order was completely wrong neither of my drinks had coffee, one was suppose to have 4 shots in it and I don t believe there was any in it and they were super watery. and my drink was dropped in the process of making it. The barista s had no idea what they were doing and were completely unorganized and all over the place. Completely wasted 30 minutes of my day and money on coffee that is terrible

Standard Starbucks. Pretty long waits: it's a popular destination during summer. The tiny footprint is ill-equipped to manage the long lines.

I have had several bad experiences at this particular Starbucks, drinks made wrong....not fixing them...rude to customers... and dirty bathroom. However, tonight was a different experience all together. Nice staff. Made my iced tea right. [A little weaker than my Starbucks, but still good]. I hope they keep with newer friendlier people and when my family visits the outer banks next month, I will try them again.
