Lori Stinson with North Eastern Group Realty set up a showing of my listed house for her client through my realtor for Saturday January 19th at 3pm. It was the first showing of my house as it had just been listed on January 19th. We were very excited to begin the process of showing and hopefully selling our house. This 3pm showing with Lori Stinson and her client was the only one of the day. I prepared and left the house at 2:45pm with everything in order. I did not return to the house until 10am the next day, Sunday January 20th as the weather was very bad that night, a blizzard. I needed to make my way to the house though as there was another showing for 12pm and I needed to shovel the snow for the showing. When I arrived at the house the FRONT DOOR was wide open. I have cable heat, which is not cheap in the winter months as it is. I contacted my realtor right away to try to figure out what went wrong. In a panic, I quickly made sure the house was okay, thankfully there was nothing missing. But the house was so cold. So cold that the toilet was frozen. We are lucky that pipes didn't burst. We had been heating the outdoors with our electric heat for most likely 18 hours in blizzard conditions. Lori Stinson and her client were the last ones at my house until I arrived the next morning. I am leaving this review because I would like it to be known that this happened, she was contacted by my realtor, and she did not take blame, she did not apologize. She did not right her wrong. We are extremely lucky that no damage was done other than the fact that my electric bill will sky rocket for that day.
