Meals are fantastic at half price! BBQ ribs was tender and succulent. A good feed on a weekday night.

Normal bar atmosphere. Live music on the night was average.

Bar staff need to go back to school and work on their math to work out change, without the help of the till. Apart from that we had a great night,

Good food, great prices. Have been lucky enough to take advantage of the 1/2 price menu - which was delicious. would definately recommend the venue as long as the prices remain the same. I have spent a couple of ANZAC days here which was a good experience.

Great food , great staff, beer was a little expensive.

Had a great lunch and experience all round. Appears to be on the bounce back with some backing of big brands. Hopefully the new replacement fiddle tree takes off

A few more grilled items on the menu would be good. Most things seem deep fried.

This venue ia great on a sunday arvo, great food, great live music. The soft shell crab burger was great

The normanby is great! Awesome new menu, friendly staff and sunday sessions.

Very hit and miss with the meals. One day an amazing chicken parmy thick and juice, the next visit dry, thin and very grizzly.
Staff also hit and miss. One day happy to help, but on another visit the Waitness looked unhappy to be there. Face like a mile of bad road.

An iconic pub experience with multiple rooms with a different atmosphere in each. A large pokies area and plenty of good beer complete a great night out with the mates.

Loving the interior design of the indoor restaurant. Staff were lovely and the meals were delicious. Great dining experience. Thanks for having us!

Steak sandwich is sooo good. Great atmosphere and awesome venue. Mel served us and was fantastic.

Really great venue, good range of tap beers and great vibe

From beginning to end the mastersteak bbq cooking class was entertaining, informative and fun. Adam had so much information to impart, our food was cooked perfectly and table service from Yuki was flawless. We were well looked after at the grill and the bar and would recommend the class/experience to family and friends. Taylor ushered us out after last drinks with grace and good manners. We ll be back!

Great atmosphere, lovely staff. The POS system they were using is the best. Unfortunately the gluten free options are limited for a pub. But the pizza I had was good. The only entree or small meal on the menu that was GF was mushrooms. So that could improve a little.

Wow what service and value for money - and for amazing food. My husband and I had our wedding reception in the Parlour Lounge. Christine - the event coordinator, was amazing in helping us to ensure everything was organised and ready for the arrival of our guests as well as making it very special for when we arrived. We could not be happier. All of the curly issues that were thrown at us days prior to our wedding date (21 March 2020), COVID-19 restrictions, did test us all. Christine and the team made sure that our special day remained that. We had to half our numbers and ensure social distancing, but we still got to get married and have a small and very memorable day. Thankyou so much Team (especially Christine).

Nice place for a drink. Foods gone way down hill. Couldn't eat it.

The food I had here was incredible and the staff was very lovely. Great time all around!

What a great pub. Live music, lots of different places to sit and enjoy the atmosphere, some of the best food. Crispy duck salad was fresh and tasty. Must have Haloumi Chips yum! And a decent area for smokers, nice.

It sucked. No one there. No entertainment on a Saturday night. More bar staff than patrons.

Great place for a relaxed catch up with friends over good food and cold beer.

No record of our booking. Waited over 20 minutes for drinks and 50 minute for meals. Had to remind staff we had actually ordered food. Food was good when it finally arrived.

We had an exceptionally great night. The food was delicious and the staff were really friendly and and made us feel very welcome. Thanks to our waitress danni and chef Izzy

Ordered a cocktail, to be told sorry we can't take cocktail orders right now and won't be for 30mins. I like this place, but cocktails are very popular these days, might want to have more staff to accommodate this.

An historic hotel well worth a visit. Wonderful, professional and friendly staff. Great entertainment and a really friendly vibe. A great place to eat, relax and kick back to watch sport on a massive screen! Elegant dining and function rooms, gaming and a huge outdoor beer garden. Stylish yet not snobby. Prices are great considering what's on offer. Trivia, Karaoke, raffles, The Dog House dining, live music....what a pub!!! Cheers for an awesome time!!!! Thanks to Nick, Holly, Connor, Devon, Bek, Lorjes, Cory, Kristine, Tia, Alex, Pete, Henry, Micah, Brooke and all the staff for making me feel so welcome!!!

Half price steak was okay, would have been really unhappy if I'd paid full price for it. No atmosphere in a Sunday night.

Normanby is a convenient pub to catch up after work on a weekday. Friendly staff and not crowded - on a weekday, that is.
Carpark's a bit annoying to get out of and head south. But still 5 stars.

Decent food but the building its self has been left to rot.

Meals were fantastic. Great event venue but no snack foods available ie chips, nuts for those not eating meals and just coming in for a drink. Staff were lovely.

One star.for the kitchen and some of the staff as they did ok, strange rules around alcohol serving after 8 pm yes 8 pm guessing the manager Shane wanted to go home early, bar tender threatened my wife with no service after she questioned what was going on.in regard to 1 drink per person at 8.30.. What a shame, nice looking place but if you want to close up early on a Sunday don't alienate your customers particularly non intoxicated ones. Not planning on coming back, hope you look at how you manage your policies, suggest your bar staff and manager learn to communicate a bit better. Plenty of other bars with professional service in Brisbane, suggest you find them before going here.

Meals are very good especially when the deals are on.

Didn't stay long, food looked nicely prepared, and drinks are crisp, upper scale in terms of patrons and plenty of eye catchers for the fellas on a Friday night for sure

Very friendly staff but ripped off as it said we price match but they don't tell you parking is $15 on top of room fees. So it worked out more expensive. Room wasn't vaccumed and smelt like wet carpet. The facilities were great but There's always a catch. Don't book online as there's always hidden costs.

Terrible. The food was dreadful - really cheap ingredients. The service was really bad. The waitress mixed up all the orders and some of the party had to wait endlessly for their meals. The meals were still incorrect (and cold) when they turned up. However, by this time we were so hungry (and drunk) that we didn't care. We were supoosed to get some meals free but they overcharged us anyway!!!

Nice pub and good atmosphere inside. Service was quite friendly. Would love to rate higher but unfortunately the food was a huge letdown. Ordered the crispy pork bites which I was really looking forward to But unfortunately the only thing crispy about them was the plate they were served on!
If you're going to have something on the menu that says it's crispy then it needs to be crispy! They weren't at all. So, big improvement needed here.

Great for events. Friendly bar staff always happy to load me up with liquor. Should try the house Red wine, I know my white pants loved it, can't get it out of them. ahaha wow what a great night!

We were in the Normandy hotel for some food and refeshments pre event and we couldn't have been more impressed, nice atmosphere , good food at a reasonable price and more importantly "service with a smile' which is so rare in hospitality these days. a special mention to Neike who served the drinks with honour and was a genuinely nice girl. we also came into contact with Toni who despite having finished her shift was chatty, offered us our table and thoroughly delightful. Well done Normandy, with staff like these girls you will get plenty of repeat customers.

Great changes from Pub to great dinning experience. Perfect for work functions and afternoon dinner and drinks.

We used to love this place. Since it reopened, the food was very disappointing and the menu is very small. The staff were very lovely and helpful but I would not come back to eat.

Good atmosphere, decent drink prices and good food.

Had a great experience at the Normanby our meals were great and very tasty.
The service was exceptional the staff made it a very special night.

The three stars are for great service and nice surroundings. Ordered duck salad which was basically red cabbage with a tiny piece of boney duck and zero flavours, despite there being orange buried at the bottom of the bowl. Only tried one thing and am out of towner so won t get to try again.

Great place, good prices on drinks. Owner is a really nice dude - was pouring rain outside and he was handing out disposable ponchos to all his customers so they wouldn't get wet. 9/10 would go again. Outstanding venue and a must go for any visitor to Brisbane.

Love the outdoor space. Food is great. Had the steak sandwich, burger, and halloumi fries, all were great. Especially the halloumi fries. They might be the best I ve ever had. Light breading (rice flour I think) and a dusting of spice. Lovely.

Met up with some old school friends for a catch up... it was a Wednesday night, so we got roped into doing the quiz.... absolutely hilarious... we had a great time. We ended up winning by default (promised I would be honest) the staff team beat us, but we got the $100 prize money, as we came 2nd - There were 6 teams btw.. we had fun ribbing the staff team (didn't know they were staff till after) was going to give 4 stars, but changed my mind, as we did have a great time. My king prawn pasta wasn't the best, prawns were really rubbery. But other than that it was a great night.
Friendly staff, great quiz master, great new renovations too.

I booked a table a few weeks ago, for the grand final (NRL) and we were happy with the fact we got a table in front of the big screen as we had booked. we were happily having a good Sunday arvo, and the whole group got up to get more drinks, and we came back to find the waitress(some blonde girl with a terrible attitude) had given our table to another group. We were gone less then 10 mins. She was not happy to assist us in getting our table back and told us we had moved (even though there was a reservation sign saying 3-8pm, it was about 4.30 in the arvo) so we were clearly not done for the day. The waitress was extremely rude and told me it was my fault we lost our table to get a drink, and if i wanted the table we had reserved, i shouldn't of left it. She wasn't willing to offer a new table either. I asked her if a reservation means nothing and she was extremely mouthy and rude, i went over to the table and asked the new group of people to ask to be re seated (which they happily did) I had then manager Simon come over and ask if i was abusing his staff (his words) and was highly rude and said if we spoke to his staff again he would remove us from the venue. I am highly disappointed in the service we received, we book a table for a group of 10, with no bad intentions, and we were all disappointed by the way we were spoken to. I highly would not recommend booking a table for this location, the staff are rude and inconsiderate, and if you go to get a drink your table is lost, and they re accommodate. Poor staff, poor customer service, when the company was doing the upgrade n the venue, they should've upgraded the staff too I will wont be back to the normanby, i am disgusted. Get some friendly staff, and teach them when you make a booking reservation, that stands, and when people go to a bar/pub, if they want food and drinks they still want their table
