Great place for Dad's and Sons to play a game of pool too!

Don't be put off by the photos of the good looking young-ish beautiful people on the their website and facebook.

They welcome old farts like me too- .. I am 50+ by the way and so are my friends and they never knock back the chance to catch up at the Normanby - - especially during the week without it being too noisy ., It's really peaceful downstairs..

It surprises me that the crowd has dropped off here over the years-
I had kept away for a few years too but have been going back in recent times.

Be prepared to pay if you have a few drinks. The alcohol seems expensive - but the food is good great atmosphere .. I like it .

Definitely 100% worth a re-visit if you haven't been there for a while.

Cold beer, hot food, great company. Great for a night out with your special one or a family night out.

Went there once, stood around for 10 minutes to try to get a beer finally walk out

Simon was so helpful today, group of guys standing around our table, we had kindly asked them to move with no success, considering the current situation with covid etc. We just wanted some space in our area. Simon came and asked the group of men to move and be seated away from us.
Great management, food is great, always a great time in The Normanby

Had my sisters 21st here. Great venue and helpful staff. Shannaia was our bartender and she was fantastic! Definitely recommend The Normanby for functions.

Good little pub would have been good back in its time

Beautiful venue, great feeds and parking available.

Pleasant atmosphere. Nice range of beer on tap. Meals were delicious. Service was friendly and fast.

Pub was dead. No patrons from 11 till close 3am. Security with a beard gave me the middle finger as we left. Terrible customer service considering no customers

Very disappointed, No cocktail s, had a limited range of spirits no Wild Turkey ran out of Makers Mark and the staff seemed a little agitated when they got called out for short pouring nips, it seems customer service has died from covid 19

Good Hotel Bar and Restaurant, probably one of the Brisbane landmark hotel.

Melbourne Cup function here. Great venue room upstairs but music way too loud & could hardly hear someone talking right next to you. Food average for what it was & not enough of it. Will try it again one day.

classic brissie pub with good selection of beers. had the pesto linguine for tea; it was really tasty but pretty small serving size

I try to like it. Good staff. Good beer. Sometimes it attracts some dick heads though.

It was nice getting out and about again. The Normanby had a lovely outdoor atmosphere for dining. Food was lovely. Outdoor heaters for winter as well. Very good service and prices were ok too...

You could meet THE ONE here...or maybe just the next one. Either way the team here has done great work for Brisbane's go get 'ers.

Whether you're there for good food, chilled drinks, partying, or a game of pool they seem to have you covered .

The bar staff could do with going to etiquette school. They don't serve in turn, they're too busy chatting to each other and a smile really wouldn't go amiss guys after all you are in the hospitality trade :-/

Went there on a Wednesday, special was $12 parmy or pizza. We all had the parmy but it was too cheesy and the schnitzel didnt have much flavor. Rather pay a few dollars more and get a decent parmy. Very dissapointed, while we have had beautiful meals in the past. Hope next time will be better.

If you're going to advertise that you're showing UFC 148, then show it, don't just tell me "oh, we decided not to show it".

It's a feral hotel. It's ok during the day, but a mess at night.

If you're young and dumb, sure, come here and get 'wrecked' on a Friday - or better yet, wait until one of their famed "parking lot parties" and get wrecked longer than usual, making more noise than usual, and blocking more traffic than usual.

Half price food is good, but food wasn't the best. Below average in taste and presentation. Coke tasted funny and apple cider not to my taste at all.
Disappointing.

Had half price steak. Not great, just about worth the half price.
