The food was inedible, the staff downright rude...once IS enough! If I could post this without a star I would.

Great Pub Grub and beer selection. Only downer is it can get pretty loud, sound bounces off the walls pretty hard.

Lively, noisy, busy. I you like 20 somethings and 30 somethings having fun, this is your place!

The food here is fantastic!! Ambiance is lovely too.

Really, the best restaurant I have been to in a long time. The most delicious, flavoursome, beautifully presented, fresh food. Excellent service, friendly professional staff, very welcoming. Lovely decor. Noisy but vibrant and definitely worth it. I've been going here for many years and in that time it has changed a few times. This is by far the best experience and outcome. Well done.

New Mt Erica is a vast improvement on the previous incarnation .... It deserves it's hugely increased popularity.

Great service and have appeared to have adapted to the new restrictions quite well.
Was a little shocked not to see a parma on the menu, and a little sad that the cocktails weren't traditionally made but all in all a great afternoon!

Eye fillet steaks were absolutely delicious. Quick friendly service

Most of the Staff were rude. Our main waitress was lovely. But some guy tried to kick us off our table even though we had a 3 hour sitting.
The bar staff seemed to hate life working there on a sat night.

Very good meal was a little crowded on a Monday night was a little expensive

Their weekly specials are such good value. Their parma is seriously the best. Delicious bocconcinj slaw. Although wine list a bit pricey.

How good is this venue. It reeks of sean Donovan as soo as I see the Chicken liver parfait. Kingfish awesome, wines awesome and great vibe !! Recommend if you are at the end of town.

I've been here a few times as the food is tasty, however the lack of service lets me down every time. A simple smile & a little enthusiasm isn't much to ask for. Sadly not likely to return as there are plenty of other options close by.

A complete makeover...attended for a private function..very busy for a Sunday,suggesting a good place to eat(however finger food at pte function was not heated thru).Very friendly staff...may check it out for a meal in future.

Food good and reasonably priced but hard to find somewhere to park....hotels carpark dirty cans papers bits of trees garden needs tidying up and weeding hotel looks unfinished forgot to paint top bit of hotel in Williams Rd...also name on hotels wall like in Hight St needs to be done on Williams Rd wall ...all these little things would make it looked finished and done

Had a birthday function, food was great and the owner provided everything we needed for the night! Will be coming back next time for sure!

A great local pub. Good atmosphere and a friendly staff. Food is also above average.

Favourite chicken schnitzel in Melbourne. Light, fresh, and topped with a delicious buffalo mozzarella.

Gnocci portion size was a bit disappointing for $28, pretty steep. It was good though so there you go, not worth $28 though, maybe $22

Staff are great and the steaks are always cooked to perfection...

We attended a private function here last night - Drinks and Tapas. It was an excellent night! the food, and service was fantastic. Highly recommended!!

Granted the Beef cheek was good but far too small a portion for the price and my guest was curious where the rest of her snapper fillet was as it was well under 100gm We were the only ones in the restaurant on a Saturday night so that speaks volumes

Nice local modern pub for a few Sunday afternoon drinks.
This place is large enough to find a little spot for your group to catch up. Nice courtyard out the back too.
I didnt order any food while I was here, but what was on the menu sounded pretty good.

The nicely reworked and rejuvenated Mt Erica Hotel delivers an easy going atmosphere with a substantial new menu. The Spicy Italian sausages with aged balsamic, radicchio and polenta was a really nicely done dish. Not a fault on their part but it just feels a bit tight and stuffy inside the pub itself. Better times out in the beer garden I think. They've done well with the layout given and have a good beer and wine list.

I thought the Moint Erica hotel was excellent and the service is great too

Tuesday is steak night and it s incredible value for a superbly cooked piece of beef.

Great food and very friendly service. Can be a bit noisy, but a nice busy atmosphere.

Great atmosphere with the big beautiful open fireplace. Such delicious food, 100% recommend!!

This is my local, even though I live in Richmond, it's that good.

Thank you to the kitchen staff for the excellent food. The service was very poor though. The guy responsible for the seating was very unprofessional - we had a booking and he ignored us for half an hour until we told him to sit us outside as there many empty tables. We had to prompt the staff for the menus, were brought dirty water glasses with lipstick, overcharged on the bill with wine we paid for while waiting for our booked table.

Love sitting at the bar for a beer or enjoying a meal in the dining area. Great space for any occasion and wonderful service as well.

Seems like these guys don t like feedback. Spent $125 on something that was suppose to be medium rare and it was still mooing. No on e finished there plate. But credit it them they offered a drink or dessert but as we were a group with children, who can t order on the spot due to lack of sleep, probably. BUT That offer doesn t extend past 5 mins. So there were a few dissatisfied people at the table.

Door to smoking area closes at a glacial pace and the cigarette smoke wofts in when opened, plus the staff is quite cold. However, the food is lovely and the colour scheme is really well done. Fantastic refurbishment!

Had my engagment party here and it was a fantastic night. Great service. Great venue. Fantastic food. Only downfall is they could use some heaters outside in winter but that's just being picky. Managers are great also. Reccomended

Strong independent craft beer tap game, great food, awesome pub. The new/temp carpark beer garden is excellent, all the best beer snacks have been retained in the new menu - sausage rolls, terrine, prawn cocktail. The team have retained their awesomeness despite the shitness of this year for hospo. Love your work team. Hopefully the crafty beer selection bounces back with local breweries increasing production...

This place is amazing! Great for functions. Indoor and outdoor areas. Menu is huge. Loads of seating and its busy, even in the public bar. Its a trendy local.

I stood out the front and gazed in at the people who can afford to eat out on chapel st. Oh how i long for the day when my monthly pay comes in.

Great food, and absolutely fantastic service!!

During our evening, and I phrase this politely, a group behaving obnoxiously loud were disturbing ourselves and other guests, when we kindly asked them to lower their voices they responded like aggressive children.

The staff, immediately responded and did so by speaking with the group.
Going above and beyond they complimented us a round of drinks with their sincerest apologies.

Food was brilliant, Staff are very attentive & showed great skill under the circumstances.

Have been here before and will come again.

Meals ok very small, not good for traditional pub food

We had the private room for a 50th birthday. Set menu was perfect - a delicious mix of grilled meats, salad and veg. Best chippies ever. The most outstanding service - the waiter and host were so professional and obviously experienced. Thanks for a great night.

Worst service from one of your male staff members. I won t recommend this place to anyone, nor will I ever return.

Shopping nearby and popped in to the Mount Erica Hotel for a quick lunch today. Well, what a fantastic surprise we had in store for us!

Lovely surroundings, great service from the efficient and friendly staff, and most importantly delicious food.

The offerings for the remarkably priced $15.00 weekday counter lunch included minute steak with egg and beer battered fries. When it arrived it included a beautifully cooked, tender and flavoursome steak with a perfectly cooked soft fried egg, lovely crunchy on the outside soft and fluffy on the inside fries and a truly yummy side of horseradish dressed cabbage. Yum!

My daughter chose the beer battered fish and chips. This was two generous portions of sweet white fish in a lovely crunchy batter - no greasy after taste, no doughy spots, no oil dripping onto the plate, the same beautifully cooked fries, and a perfectly dressed, fresh leafy salad, without the (too common) heavy use of poor quality vinegary commercial dressing (or also common NO dressing at all). To top this off was a truly fantastic, fresh, tartare sauce with a delicious hint of shallots and tarragon in a creamy aioli.

I wasn t driving so chose a glass of the Range Life King Valley Prosecco. Very nice!

All in all this was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. It has given me hope there are great places to eat, after many disappointments recently.

Thanks to the chefs for this great meal and the staff for their pleasant, efficient service.

Alot has changed here recently and essentially there a two sides to the place. We tried the restaurant side I think it's called Austin's? At first we thought the menu was a bit crazy as it does Spanish and Mediterranean tapas and share plates but the food was incredible, oysters, king prawns with cider sauce and probably the nicest duck I've ever had. The staff were friendly enough and tbf were great at recommending drinks to match with the food. We came back the following thursday but this time they had live music on next door in their bar on the other side of the building. The open mic was great and you can get your typical pub grub like Parma's and fish and chips. Apparently cooked by the same Chefs as the restaurant so we were happy with that. Also $10 espresso martinis for after dinner.

I highly recommend a visit, great spaces and ambience. Delicious food, and, quality, swift and helpful service.

I like this place, since the recent renovations it's got a great vibe with a good happy hour and nice food. The one thing I hate is the the "smoke free" outdoor area is always smokey from poeple standing right on the other side of the screens (which don't block the smoke fully) and also right by the exit/entrance! Really unpleasant and puts me off hanging around when it gets quite bad.

The Mt Erica is getting its mojo back. I loved the Spanish tapas and wines and the kids enjoyed the more traditional gastro pub food. Great to have both options. Congratulations on the food, wine and ambience. I will be back soon

Food and service was great. l differently will return to have a nice meal with a friend.

As a mum of two young kids, I don't get out much. We spend a lot of time and money creating amazing food at home. So to say my expectations are high when dining out, is an understatement. Wow, this place delivered! Every dish tasted even better than it looked, and that is saying something. Great work, we'll be back for sure!

Great food, atmosphere and staff. Went for a Father's Day dinner and we initially booked a table for 5 but we had an extra person with us, they accommodated all our requests with no complaints even though it was a very busy night there. All food and drinks are reasonably priced too.
