I contacted Nordstrom s after looking at their website and thinking I d have a quick and friendly experience after my recent car accident. Unfortunately the man on the phone was condescending and rude. I really was hoping they d be able to help me, but I chose to go with another salvage company in town due to the condescending nature of man answering their phones.

Purchased a lower oil pan for my Tiburon via eBay and upon arrival - mounting lip of oil pan was bent though the box was in good shape. I sent these jokers a message and John informed me that they have sent out a replacement oil pan even though I had already stated that I had purchased a new one (cars don't drive without oil - can't hold oil without pan). I asked for a refund and they said I will not get my refund until I send reject the replacement that I did not ask for. I asked several times about getting the tracking number to reject this and they can't seem to figure out how to obtain tracking number for me. So here I am out the money currently for a oil pan that is unusable and having to deal with a joker named John.
FYI - I do research work for the automotive industry and I tested their ability to maintain accurate information - they failed. They also have this listed to fit the base model Tiburon which is incorrect. So I can only assume that other buyers have had incorrect parts shipped to them along with all the buyers receiving damaged junk.

Over the top in service! Called Charlie for pricey Lexus part. He was personable and most accommodating, going to the extra trouble of including electrical connectors necessary for our particular job. Find what you are looking for in auto parts of any model

I bought an entire used Rear axle assembly from one of their salvage vehicles for my 2008 Toyota 4Runner. The sales rep that help me on the phone, was able to ship this to Kentucky for free (That's 250lbs of steel on a wooden crate.) The part showed up and was in fantastic condition! My mechanic was extremely impressed that I was able to find this part at the price and quality I did. They even come with a warranty.

I cannot be more pleased with Nordstrom's approach to selling used auto parts online. I wish I would've thought of this system. I will continue to use their services for parts, every time I need them.

Found the ad on facebook Dustin was very helpful, great prices, 10/10 recommend.

I thought I got a GREAT deal on a rack & pinion for my 2003 Town & Country van on Ebay.
It even came with a 6 month warranty !! Being a single Mother and this is my only vehicle, I really thought I had saved money on this purchase. IT LASTED 4 MONTHS = I contacted Norstrom's and they told me I would have to ship it back for the replacement.
I had to arrange rides to work and I thought.. stuff like this happens. One week after the replacement was installed the replacement was leaking UGH my mechanic told me the line was loose but the replacement rack & pinion did have a leak. I contacted the customer service and was told there is NO WARRANTY ON REPLACEMENT PARTS so it is my opinion that the replacement was just a junk POS part. Trying to save $$ ended up with a total waste of $75.00 for the part, $35.00 for shipping, $325.00 !st installation AND 325.00 for the second installation. TOTAL $760.00
NEW PART INSTALLED = $565.00
SINGLE MOTHER OUT $760.00 that buys LOTS of clothes, shoes, electric, propane, FOOD !!!

I was shopping for a used bumber and was frustrated by the lack of service at other places. Then I ran into charlie at Nordstroms. He was extremely helpful and responsive. They had exactly what I needed and I would highly recommend Nordstrom's!

Rebuilt a 2000 VW beetle. Nordstrom's had ALL the parts I needed from the fenders, oil pan, air bags, seat belts and all the electrical components that I needed. Doug and the rest of the staff were not only knowledgeable and the parts I needed, their attention to detail and courtesy was far exceeding of a regular auto parts store. All around good natured people with exceptional knowledge of auto parts.

The brake rotors of my car needed to be replaced urgently, I called Ricardo and he was able to have the parts ready for me to pick up the next day. Price was very affordable compared to other auto part vendors. I was very satisfied to not only purchase the rotors, but he was also able to get me brake pads and calipers. I will definitely always go to him for all my car needs in the future!

These guys have an online store that actually works, they re responsive to emails from customers, and do the right thing. I was sent the incorrect part - which is understandable, Mopar doesn t even know the correct part - and they listened to me, and fixed the issue immediately.

I manage a retail store for a company that prides itself on its fantastic customer service. These guys give me a run for my money. I don t have a local yard anymore, so these guys earned a customer for life. A friggin plus!

Rude sales people and a bunch of know it all who are not afraid to let you know they know everything about nothing!They low ball you on collecting your cars, then sell of there first part from it to cover that cost and rest is money in there pockets. Barneys does same thing and does not low ball you. And they sell parts way cheaper then these jack asses!

I like ewe pull it because you can pull your own parts and know what you got. And its cheap.

I purchased a replacement engine form Nordstrom's Automotive in August, it was for my 2003 BMW 325i which originally had a blown head gasket. Dustin quoted a great price and when things got a bit difficult he hung in there! The shipping was fast, shipped in 2 days! My mechanic put in the motor which took about a month but I'm driving again! I give this company 5 stars! Ask for Dustin!

Sold them my very destroyed 2005 Scion xB with custom rims sadly I only got $200 and I miss that baby.. but love the shop and there business.

My late model VW just out of warranty died for a very odd and unbelievable reason, but it was serious; Engine replacement was one of the best options. Nordstrom's had best engine for me, with best price, free shipping and they included the all the hoses, wires (nothing cut), covers...etc. Nice touch, they capped all hoses with plastic plugs. Engine swap went smooth, started first try. I worked with John, Nordstrom's internet sales person. He was straight forward, no nonsense, flexible, cooperative with my situation. Buying the engine was straight forward, shipping fast. Long story short, I recommend Norsdrom's; give them1st look when shopping for parts.

i called to order some parts for 2015 toyota camry with charlie for minuteman auto 2 weeks ago i didn't receive them till today and my card was charged in the first of the month when i called today to ask for my parts they said we can't help you the parts are gone
asking for someone to complain or talk to no one try give me the boss
and the other guy was complaining about we don't buy a lot of parts from them so that's why they don't care

Every time I call here I stay on hold for about 15-20 minutes. You guys need to have more employees or figure something out. This has been going on for years. I order from hundreds of salvage yards and this is one of the worst due to the annoying phone system. I try and avoid this place whenever possible due to this.

I have been here a few times as a shade tree mechanic. Prices are really good and they always get the right part. Today I needed a wheel for a Grand Cherokee and it was only $50.

Absolutely top-notch. Although I haven't needed to get any parts for my current vehicle, I've never been disappointed with any of my prior purchases here, and this is also going back to the days when we could go out into the main yard and gather the parts we needed ourselves.

Extremely impressed with the value for parts and service. I got a Wheel Bearing from them and had it installed by their qualified shop nearby for about 1/3 of the price quoted in Sioux Falls.

I'm positive that their Christian values have affected the way they work, because never have I seen such Honest and Hardworking men in the Auto Parts Industry. This is an upstanding business that I'm sure is bound to grow! Keep up the great work.

Had part, but Dan was very bad at communicating. I called at 7am spoke with him and he said he would get right back with me to make sure the part worked. 2 hours later I called and his response was you were going to call me. I said do you remember telling me you were going to check the part out to make sure it was good? Oh yeah that must have been some miscommunication between us. So I lost 2 hours of my drive coming from Minnesota. So I called and spoke with a Jeremiah about possibly having someone meet me like 30 minutes from their shop. I said I would pay someone cash to meet as it would save me a ton of time. No call back so I called again and Dan got on phone and said no we don't do anything like this. Once I got there I was speaking with a guy up front and he said yes they do this all the time. So overall they were not good at communicating.

Would rate a zero if I could!! BEWARE IF YOU ARE SENT THE WRONG PRODUCT YOU HAVE TO PAY TO SEND BACK!! I ordered a $45 item which isn t the right part and was told I could return it but they won t pay for the return it would be $85 for me to ship the box back !!!! Then the guy on the phone has an attitude and raised his voice at me saying they had to pay that same price to ship it to me and that they only made about $9 because of how much the shipping was. So what, I am the customer I shouldn t have to pay $85 to send that back. I paid $13 to shipping for it to come to me..don t understand why I have to pay $85 to send it back. This place is terrible. Horrible customer service too. Just stay away I wouldn t recommend buying car parts!!!

The entire team at Norstrom's Automotive is fantastic. I have been working with Scot for several years with the shops I have worked in and he is the "go to" guy for anything and everything recycled. We recently reopened one of our shops in our area and the owner, Shannon, drove to Moorhead, MN just to show us support. On top of that he shared his experience! I can't give enough stars to support these guys. Anything you need, they can get it!

I bought a new Dorman power window regulator and it fit and works perfectly!

If I could rate this place a zero, I would. Extremely condescending, arrogant, rude, and poor customer service. I will never do business with them again. I had a good experience with them in the past, but having someone like this answer phones is simply unacceptable.

Great service, quick and efficient, but was surprised a used part was the same price as a new tail light I've seen online. May have to shop around next time. Thank you tho for sure

It doesn't matter if you're working on a large project or a simple mirror replacement, the staff always puts in the extra effort to ensure that you get the part or parts you're after. Everyone is extremely friendly and always very helpful and professional. I have bought several parts and was very impressed with the service as well as the speed.

I went to Nordstrom's today to replace my front driver's side wheel. I had blown a tire at 75mph and wasn't sure that the wheel was still good. Also, I didn't have a spare and my car was on the side of the road in Vermillion, SD.

I went ahead and ordered a scissor jack while I was there and not only did they find the parts I needed, they reduced their price so that I could afford them. The price was already quite reasonable. This is something only the best companies do and I really appreciate it. I will definitely be shopping with Nordstrom's again in the future for all of my used auto part needs.

Was quoted a price of $450 for a part and then three hours later we went to pick it up it was raised up to $550 if They have interest in a part they raise the price we checked the website twice and it had the lower price. Also if you call and speak to two different people you ll get two different answers as to what the price of the part is. Ok shannon got ahold of me and straitened everything out. Thanks. The customer service sucks. They never call you. Too let you know when the parts are really for pick up. Like they are suppose too. And the rudes people I have meeting.

We operate a steering rebuild shop and occasionally use Nordstrom's on when we are in a on something. I deal with a lot of salvage yards and other parts of the recycled parts industry and I assure you will not likely find a more professional, able salvage yard than Nordstrom's. It is rare and refreshing to deal with a salvage yard that seems that committed to operating on their level when it comes to organization, logistics, and knowledge. Hold times aside, you can't beat em.

Ordered online. Waited two weeks after not receiving confirmation email only to find out car part still not removed from car to ship. WIll let you know how long it takes to get my money back. Two weeks no progress or communication. REALLY!

About the cleanest friendly's place I have been to ever

I made a purchase on EBay for a part I needed. The pictures shown did not have a certain angle I wanted to view to make sure it was correct. I tried asking through email a very simple question before I purchased. John with Online Sales has to be trained properly because his response was very awkward and rude. I let him know but it's too late for that I had to order not fully knowing if it's correct or not. Thanks for nothing John! I purchase alot on EBay and hate to leave negative feedback but I might have too.

Very satisfied with the wheels I bought online, received my wheels in three days just like they said they would.

I was in an automobile accident and my car was destroyed. Only having liability insurance coverage, the handling of the damaged car was in my hands. The cost to repair the car was far more than the car's worth, and I did not intend to make it a project car. Given this, I reached out to Nordstrom's in order to get rid of my car as scrap/salvage. They offered me $110 which was more than fair, especially since I was initially just going to turn it over to the tow yard as scrap with no payment.

I had never sold a car in my life, much less turned one over as scrap/salvage, so I asked the representative that emailed me with the offer if I could be present at the time of pick-up to ensure I filled out the back of the title correctly. He worked with me to arrange a date and time, and they had the tow driver contact me directly when he was on his way to the vehicle. The entire process was effortless, and they took a lot of weight off of my shoulders. Every agent I worked with was super friendly, and they were there to help with any questions I had.

Sure, they may not be the best option for everyone looking to dispose of an unwanted car (really, what business can be?), but when you're in a position like I was, they are a god send. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in my position.

In search of rear taillight lens for F150. Nordstroms's, had it, great condition and 1/3 the price of a new aftermarket part. Fast and very friendly service. I could not be more pleased with my experience. Their website has been updated and it's even easier to find the parts I'm looking for.

Went to get a radiator for a 2.7L Chrysler engine, to replace the old one after a Crack was discovered. The new radiator had a rupture in it, causing transmission fluid to go through my coolant lines, into my engine.
Now I have coolant in my transmission lines, transmission oil in my engine& have to pay for the engine, transmission& coolant systems to be flushed& a new radiator.

--UPDATE--
Called& spoke with a manager (Justin). He told me I'd have to pay to get the radiator pressure tested before they'd be able to help& even then they'd only give me another used part. They won't help with the multiple system flushes I'll have to get done.
Here's the thing, they're supposed to have pressure tested this radiator. They should have before reselling it. So, apparently, somehow in the 20 minute drive from their facilities to my house, I ruptured the inside of the radiator. While it was lying in the back seat of the car, nothing touching it.
I think the more believable option, is someone didn't do their job correctly& either didn't pressure test it, or just didn't care. Now I'm out the money for the first radiator, a brand new replacement radiator, the money to put it into the shop& have it replaced& all the systems flushed.
After buying parts from here for the past 7 years, everything from batteries to engines, I will no longer be buying my parts from this establishment. It's a real buyer beware story.

I just visited Nordstrom's for the very first time and I have nothing but good things to say! Dustin and the gang helped me find the headlight and taillight and rear bumper cover that I needed all in a timely manner! Very courteous very polite awesome service! Couldn't have had a better experience! Well done fellas!

I ve purchased a lot of parts from Nordstrom s in the past and have always been very pleased but I just went to sell them a vehicle and return some engine pallets. Doug in vehicle purchasing was very in pleasant and once he handed me the check for my car he didn t seem to want to help with any other questions I had about where to return the pallets. Love the parts but his customer service needs work.

Called about a wiper arm-waited on hold for 10-15 minutes, was told the wiper would $35, I said great I'll be there to get it by Saturday. Called a half hour later to see if I could get it today, waited on hold at least another ten minutes, they said they didn't have one-then I told them I'd just called a half hour ago and they said "oh yeah, you can get that." Then I told them I wanted to make sure it'd be there when I got there in half an hour and the guy says "oh, well yeah. I'd have to pass on that." What the heck is that supposed to mean?! TERRIBLE service. I will never go there again. Glad I didn't drive half an hour for that crap, waste of my time. If I could give no stars I would, wish I had my half hour of time back.

They always claim on their answering machine that they pay "Top Dollar" for junk automobiles! However I could call them up after about four or five other dealers I found in the Shopping News and Nordstroms offer is always the LOWEST! Usually by about half! I don't think they should claim on the phone that they pay "Top Dollar" unless they absolutely mean it.

I just bought a set of almost new used tires for a great price. the money I saved paid for an alignment and trans service. I have purchased a used motor and many other parts over the years and I keep coming back for more.
