The service here really is as good as everyone says.

One thing I'd like to point out is that they provide concierge service; if you're visiting Seattle (or have guests from out of town) with luggage, they'll let you check it so you don't have to lug it around as you shop DT and explore. No proof of purchase necessary--they've been very gracious.

The downtown location is very good. Being the flagship, it is updated, the food is great, spa on the top floor, and great personal shoppers. May, a top specialist and "all star" in men's clothing (suits, tuxes, sport coats), is amazing. She is knowledgeable and really can customize to your needs and budget. Also, Sidney, in men's designer, is great to work with as well. He is also knowledgeable and will help with whatever you need. For kids clothing, Nordstrom bellevue... Carol is another "all star" and is incredible. One of our family's favorite people!!

Shopped at the candy stop Sugarfina upstairs.
What a delightful experience.
Candy is uniquely packaged in clear plastic cubes, with delicious and novel flavors.
Got as a gift and am still getting compliments months later.

Everything you need is at Nordstrom! With excellent service & an even better return policy. Great food options & a full spa as well!

I recently discovered that there's a beauty concierge there & they'll help you pick the best products based on your needs -- such a great service to provide!!

Needed a suit for a wedding at two days' notice including tailoring work on the trousers, having just fallen off overnight flights from Honolulu. Service was fantastic - server Koby was exceptionally helpful, took time to measure me properly, found me various suits to try on, select ties and shirts. Tailoring turn around time was exceptionally swift (later in the afternoon). Not cheap as a store, but worth every cent.

The Nordstrom shopping and customer service experience is the worst I have ever experienced. I ordered a pair of shoes from them. Four days later they cancelled my order saying it wasn't available. I tried to contact them to refund the money. Still hadn't refund my money on to my account. Stay away from them!

The Flagship Store of the Nordstrom chain. If you want to see how service is supposed to be conducted at a Nordstrom, visit this store. The employees are role models of the store's culture of customer service first.

You will find many things you won't find at other area Nordstroms. Lots of upscale lines here.

The coffee bar and other restaurants are very good here. A good place to take a break.

D'ondre J. was so cool! He helped me picked the perfect sunglasses! He really knows the products features and what works best for your face. It also felt really cool to get something from the original Nordstrom s. Glad I had a chance to stop by.

I was trying to purchase something over the phone and was told they had the item. Well I was transferred to Men's sportswear to complete the order but unfortunately the person I spoke to on January 2nd at 5 PM Pacific time was very rude and didn't want to complete my order. She just told me they didn't have the item yet she didn't even bother to ask me what size or color so how could she know if they even had it? I was told by the first person they had it and this second one from Men's sportswear said they didn't. I doubt she even bothered to look.

I love Nordies downtown! They have so many things that other ones dont have. I absolutely love going their for the holidays as they have a santa factory all decked out to take pics at. Ive went to this one since I was a child 25 years ago. I went yesterday and they had a GORGEOUS PAIR of CHanel boots and Louie Belt i knew my hubby would adore!! Exclusive items are always here!

NOTE: My review is only reflective of the Men's departments.

I'm not always impressed with the selections that they have in The Rail, but once in a while I'll spot a couple of cute shirts and pants that are on the opposite end of the douche bag spectrum. Depending on which sales associate helps you, the shopping experience can be either pleasant or a pain. I recommend finding those veteran stylists and sticking to them. Since sales are commissioned, getting stuck with that seasonal employee helping you out can be annoying because they probably have terrible fashion sense and just care about selling you crap.

The men's shoe selection is always great, especially for casual shoes. The guys that work in the shoe department are super helpful and in my opinion the best guys to work with when shopping at this Nordstrom.

The men's fragrance section can be a hit or miss. Sometimes they don't have certain colognes in stock that are pretty standard to other department stores, which I find odd.

Overall, there's no other place I prefer to shop as my first stop on shopping trips than this Nordstrom.

Also, if you parked in the Pacific Place parking garage and spend at least $25 in Nordstrom, don't forget to get your ticket validated by the concierge on the 2nd floor.

I walked into the downtown Seattle Nordstrom on a very cold and windy day. I mainly wanted to go inside to purchase a scarf as I had not brought one on my trip and needed some neck warmth, stat!

Lucky me, I walked into the accessories area and found my way perusing through the tables of scarves. I was quickly helped by an associate who noticed my southern accent right away. She, too, was from the southeast so we bonded quickly. She helped me with different ways of wearing the scarves and introduced me to the Michael Kors infinity scarf, which was amazing! I purchased it, along with a cashmere Nordstrom scarf. I continued around the store, it being the flagship Nordstrom, there were plenty of items in stock of all designer brands. The selections of each item were much larger than I am accustomed to in the NC store.

The store was immaculate, staff were genuinely hospitable, and of course, the restrooms were elegant and so nice that I actually spent a few minutes in the sitting area outside to gather my belongings before venturing back onto the cold streets of downtown Seattle.

Very nice, Nordstrom Seattle, very nice!
