It's a Seattle institution - you know exactly what you're getting. Designer clothes and homewares at prices that may leave you a little sticker-shocked. However, the customer service is second-to-none. I love buying suits here - it's a great experience, and I always leave with something that looks fantastic.
Nordstrom continues with its wonderful traditions of highest quality merchandise at reasonable prices backed by their satisfaction guarantee.
It's slightly expensive but totally worth it.. I usually find what I am looking for..

Nice discount store to get the Nordstrom hand-me-downs. The selection of men's clothing and shoes is pretty good. Checkout lines can be a bit long. Not a bad place when you're looking for a bargain that doesn't look like one.
I love coming to this store because of the variety of merchandise and options they offer to customers. I am the very few out there that prefer going to the store versus shopping online. Today I went in the shoe section and Alejandro from the women s shoe section was wonderful! He gave me suggestions that I was looking for my job interview. He definitely deserves a raise and an award!
Absolutely beautiful... a must see. The store is huge. I was in the beauty area and everyone smiled and assisted me with 100% care. I was very happy to shop here.

Great store frendly staff of course. Bought a great shoulder/back pack type straps carrier bag the bk pk straps hide away when you use the shoulder strap. Made by Herschel Supply Co. I just went in for Xl tee shirts. I luv the bag. It's great for my long commute to work and home again. So far has kept up shape well.

Great giant Nordstrom but honestly I was only in here for hours because I was lost for hours looking for the entrance to the light rail. I had a great time wandering the wide aisles and clean marble floors but it wasnt my intent to.
This downtown location is one of handful of flagship stores for Nordstrom - the salespeople are top notch and look to make sure each customer's experience lives up to the Nordstrom standard. The selection is probably the widest variety in the Seattle area, though the Bellevue store may occasionally have some items that this one does not. This location boasts four restaurants: the E-bar, Nordstrom Grill, Habitant (the bar concept! - try the tacos), and Cafe Nordstrom. The corporate offices are right above this store, so if you're lucky, you may run into the Nordstrom brothers themselves!
I take one Star of due to the difficulty of shopping downtown (parking, crowds, transients). Otherwise this store is nice with the same level of Nordstrom as every other Nordstrom. I really like that the men's ship is the basement right off the entrance. Saves some of the hassle. I generally about this one and go to believe because of the parking and lack of street people hassle.
I love Nordstrom already so this location is a dream come true so many options, helpful staff. Found my husband a great jacket during the annual sale

Very inconsistent service depending on which sales assistant you happen to encounter. Definitely need to train all employees to help everyone rather than look for whomever they think looks rich enough. Fortunately if you run into someone unhelpful there are still a good number of folks willing to help you out. Save your sales for the few nice agents and walk right by everyone else.
Only stopped by the men's shoes department with a friend. Although it was busy, there were plenty of staff members ready to help. They told us to sit down and someone came right out and assisted us right away. Great customer service for high end products.
It's an institution. Downtown store offers high end goods not available in other locations. Good looking staff and helpful. Easy to drop thousands here. Do yourself a favor and just do the valet parking, so much easier than parking lot or trying to find street parking. Makes your shopping experience so much better.

I salute Nordstrom for being forward thinking and realizing that Latina women are fashionable and probably will keep this store afloat as we have collective buying power given our population growth. Awesome shopping place with the newest trends and also some affordable items. Fare warning they will try to up sell you depending on who you meet with but thankfully they also will take no as an answer.

Amazing store with so many levels. However, both of my shopping experiences have been bad with the employees. This last time I went to check out the anniversary sale and an employee named Anna followed me the entire time trying to show me EVERYTHING! It was obvious she wanted to sell me on anything she could & wouldn t leave my side. She even told me I need to invest in skincare as she was trying to get me to buy a $120 tinted sunscreen. I haven t wanted to go back since & Instead have just been ordering online that s how poor my experience was.
4 stories. Wow I was blown away. Never been to this location. Not much of a shopper . Found some great stretchy jeans. The shoe department is ridiculous. You ask to try on 1 pair of shoes and they bring out 5 boxes of shoes that are not even what I was shopping for. $180 for some tenny shoes haha I don't need them that bad!
I'm going to share about the Nordstrom Grill. Food is always usually pretty good prices for downtown are reasonable. Now the bad....service. and this has been a problem for years. Don't know why I always expect the service to be like the Nordstrom standard but it's not, about the same service as Denny's. With all the other choices downtown you would think they would have corrected by now but no.
