Worth the visit. Beautiful aquariums, nice to meet the local fish up close and personal. The oceanarium is outright spectacular and the feeding session is very interesting (even in Danish).

Good experience of the most. Super good food star shot and I ate mostly very good operation .PS since I'm very thin and usually do not eat that much, it was really good, especially the bread.

I expected little more for that price, to see more kinds of fish and animals. I believe it's a nice place for families with kids because of lot of interactive games and information and both outside and inside playgrounds. The restaurant was pretty ok, they managed to serve the meals very fast even with overcrowded restaurant. Overall I hoped for a bigger place with more colours, I loved the jellyfish thought. If you are going to visit I wish you a nice day and enjoy the place as it is.

We were a little disappointed - the price for entry is very high. The large pool with the sunfish is impressive, the rest was designed around it and rather poorly described.
There are a lot of electronic gadgets, but what I find rather annoying in such an aquarium - it should actually be about the living things.
The feeding of the sunfish is commented in Danish - which is okay - for non-Danes, but then rather meaningless.
All in all a nice trip but overpriced if you don't get a 50% grant from the government.

Fine

..a really nice day in hirtshals..first that harbor area .. then a visit to the oceanarium .. ..a mega-sized aquarium with giant moonfish .. where a diver dives around while feeding and beckons you outside through the windows .. ..giantly impressive.. ..whale skeletons..and a ship simulator impress not only children but also adults .. ..a self-service restaurant is also on site.. .. unfortunately .. all in all a bit expensive .. nevertheless I would recommend a visit ..

Great museum, for young and old.
Play opportunities for children.
Very great aquarium, you feel like you are in the North Sea.

Nice aquarium with many aquariums and different kinds of fish. Really impressive with the big ball fish and the seals. However, was close in some places and a bit confusing to find around inside the area, the maps More

I think the sharks and the giant moonfish are totally cool. The small pools in a room are full of clods, starfish and rays that you can touch and touch. Squeezing the sick into small aquariums is not OK! Tables for painting. There would be 5 if they would not sell these sealskins, because otherwise in 100 years the seals are threatened with extinction.

A nice oceanarium. It is not very big but certainly worth it I thought. The moonfish is the best known and the aquarium is really very large and the viewing window is certainly 5 meters high. It's fun for kids. So definitely do it!

We were there during our vacation and really loved it. The individual aquariums pick up on various topics and the children have many opportunities to explore and understand the marine world of the North Sea itself. There is much to join in and try out. All in all a successful family excursion :)

Great Ozeaneum with a huge pool. There, of course, the moonfish is the absolute highlight. But the many other pools have great fish too. Also the outdoor area with the seals is worth seeing. Also for the small visitors much is offered. Just go there and experience something! :)

Probably the most beautiful saltwater aquarium I've ever seen. It was very much put into the loving and very interesting facility. The aquarium is also very informative and brings the marine biology very well over. Once with children and adults, there is a lot to discover. If you are only a good hour's drive away, you should definitely visit it. Maybe even 2h justified - if you are very interested in the topic.

We arrived the last hour and a half before closing time and had most things to ourselves. Lots of great activities and interactive experiences. We could have kind of spent an hour or two more. Especially the outdoor fishing cutter with "hurricane activity" brought joy, but the large aquarium was also incredibly catchy with lumpfish, shoals, and sharks galore. We will definitely come again another time.

Fantastic day out for families! Lots of interactive exhibits, most of the text and videos were available in Danish, German and English which was nice. The main two exhibits seem to be the ocean exhibit, where you can see the fish being fed and the seal part, again where you can see them being fed. Lots of interesting information packed in a really fun way for all ages. Plenty of places to sit and rest if needed, which was nice to see! Lovely stocked shop with all sorts of bits and pieces in. Will likely be back in the warmer weather!
