Okay. But was not that incredibly exciting. But very nice for the kids with playground and games.
It's really nice and is great to see how the fish live
We used this aquarium as a stopover from Skagen to Lokken and were overall satisfied. You can comfortably inspect the site within 2-3 hours.
Parada and from Cape Green go west coast and do not miss
Nice big fish tanks and very educational Infos for adults as well as kids. We rushed through in 1,5 hours because we were late (without kids) and saw everything, but I would suggest 3 hours or more.
Great experience in a well-made exhibition. Do not miss feeding in the big aquarium!
Exceeded expectations a lot. Large, fresh & well maintained, many aquariums, many activities, big playgrounds and great food. The children have talked about the sharks and the 300kg lumpfish for weeks!
Lots to see. However, I was here when almost all of Denmark was. So is was very stuffed. Otherwise a good experience that can be clearly recommended.
Great place. Recommended. They also serve really good food here.
A lot to look at and certainly not over, so you can come to the different things you can see and try. The staff is very good.
A wonderful place to meet fish and other sea creatures. Definitely worth a visit. Here you can also see a moonfish.
Interesting little oceanarium. Just 2-3 hours to see it all.
It is very interesting for all nature lovers. Have a lot of time. Children can let off steam there too
What a great place! The staff is very good at both "painting the big picture-stories" and the cool detail-stuff, and all done with the spirit that comes from knowledge of the subject-matter. The place itself lends easily to all sorts of ways to experience, see (and touch ) the fish. Highly recommended
The entrance was at the expensive end. But the exhibition was nice and the staff was welcoming. The cafe's food was surprisingly delicious and really priced better than the entrance.
It was interesting information, but the fish do not look really healthy, sometimes cloudy eyes and unkempt pools, I really feel sorry for the fish. It was agony to see her like that
A bit expensive for what you get offered. The aquariums are very interesting but the rest (and thus most of the exhibition feel) consists of interactive screens and digital minigames. This is a pity, because the topic itself has a lot of potential and could have been brought over interesting. But if you're already in the corner and you do not know what to do in bad weather, you can visit the Oceanarium.
It was a really nice place, with a really nice selection of animals. Very innovative, and their lumpfish was naturally also a sight!
There are many interesting things to discover.
Recommendation: feeding in the large sunfish tank.
Unfortunately, somewhat overpriced entry.
Absolutely fantastic experience for the whole family
Great aquarium ... A lot to discover and explore ... Everything is explained in three languages ... The animal feeds unfortunately not - but that is nagging at a high level ... Had a great day ...
Exciting place with rich opportunities to see fish. Be aware that many activities for children were closed and that most electronic things did not work - or showed error messages.
Can recommend watching feeding both lumpfish and seals.
If you have children, you should keep an eye on them on the way out, as there is a shop full of glasses, sweets and toys - all at exorbitant prices;)
Interesting place, fun to see all the fish found in Danish waters, lots of activities for children
Good concept to bring the flora and fauna of the North Sea close to the people. And by the way, the kids are exploring the exhibition with their discovery pass. Almost all plates in Danish, English and German. Snacks also ok. Gladly again!
Fine aquarium, however, people did not respect the corona measures of distance even though there was good signage
A really good place to visit, you are wiser when you go from there.
Is really nicely done and the feedings are easy to see through interactive media like camera on the glasses of the diver. Unfortunately, no 5 stars, as the shows internationally speaking in English should be commented on. Unfortunately we did not understand anything in Danish.
Grandiose aquarium. Since the season ticket worthwhile to marvel at the huge shoals of fish several times. The large sunfish with its smaller offshoot glides majestically through the large basin. The garfish lurk on the surface and the sharks are on patrol. Unfortunately the restoration was not open yet, but you are welcome to bring something.
Educational and nice. Suitable for both adults and children
Great museum. Much to learn. Everything in German there too. Currently you have to buy tickets online beforehand. Very busy in the rain. About all disinfectant dispensers. Little toilet with changing tables. The team is helpful with questions. Currently there is a way regulation based on Corona. If everyone adheres to it, it works. Unfortunately, it didn't work today. You could make people more aware of it. Otherwise the visit there was completely okay and good.
Something one should experience when on holiday in the Hirtshals area. Very exciting.
Nice exhibition, you can sense that learning for children is intended in the presentations.
We also saw feeding the seals, it was a fun experience
We were there with our children in 2016, it was very nice there, lots of fish to see and sometimes to touch.
I have to say, I really enjoyed my visit to the Ozeanium. It is very well made and an impressiv underwaterworld. You can learn a lot there.
BUT, it made me really sad and angry, to see how much garbage-plastic-toys they sell in the shop...
not even that it is highly overprized for cheap made in china nonsense toys, but half of the store was just an aweful sh** pile of plastic toys. this makes no sense at all...
As the "largest north european ozeanium" they should spread more awareness, the oceans are full of plastic and kills it ever year a bit more.
Please dont buy this plastic toys, there are a lot of nice books and things made of stone, glas, wood, metal, shells for your kids.
Only the North Sea fish to let people know about the local marine life. And then many attractions, the giant sunfish is fantastic. Great for families.
There is currently being rebuilt ... Unfortunately THAT was nowhere to be seen. After 3 hours of travel to see only half the museum, for the full price of admission, was a shame. There was a voucher for 20 kroner per person but that was no compensation. Sure it's great after the renovation, but I wouldn't visit it this year.
Ok place. Some things are closed and renovation is ongoing. Overpriced due to the amount of time spent here. Prox 2 hours. When not sunny seal show and cafe are closed
A great place not just for children. Buying tickets online saves money here. Always worth a visit.
Very nice large aquarium with different sea creatures. Very personable staff, the animals are fed in different languages. Well worth the visit.
It's just good, likes this place better than the blue planet.
The best aquarium in Europe great kids friendly and a super well-kept place with great promotions throughout the year. We were even lucky enough to get behind the scenes of the ocearium and dismantled as a porpoise for research purposes.
It was nice, nice herring aquarium. But too little light right when you come in and have to read the text at the aquarium, with cod my glasses and eyesight is good. But had to get down on his knees to read, it was annoying, for arthritis knees.
Glad we only paid half price! Must confess I was disappointed with the place. It's really confusing to find your way around in there. It could be nice with arrows guiding one around. A visit that was over in just under an hour.
Nice aquarium. Lots of information and lots to see.
Top notch. I've been there for the fifth time and it's still fascinating. Especially the sunfish are beautiful creatures.
A really fun place for those interested in fish and sea creatures. They had a lot to look at. Cod, seaweed, flounder, steinfish, shark and not least the giant moonfish or lumpfish, as they call it in Denmark. We were there for 3 hours, but could have been there for a few hours. Recommended!
Really nice sight. An incredible amount has been done to convey the different environments and climates in which the animals live, which is reflected in large and realistic facilities. We had the whole family with us and everyone is absolutely happy with the visit.
Super nice activity. Great fish and aquariums. Could use a little more info for the different things.
I promised myself more of the presentation of the flyer in the aquarium. Or my expectations were too high. Quite expensive for what is on offer. Staff all very nice. And it was interesting.
It was very nice there with all the fish and a show
Not crowded and very pleasant. In addition, a pure North Sea aquarium
Fascinating place.
Who a 2t. Fish, which floats with other species in 43 million liters of water, is right here.
The fish species are all from the lake around Denmark.
Great for families. You learn a lot. But please don't confuse it with Sealife
Not that good service at the Cafe. Some people had to pay for sauce and others didn't.
Decent aquarium.
Fantastic nice place, but we expected something a bit better. Therefore, only 4 stars We had hoped to see sharks and that there were more aquariums to look at.
