Hi I have a bad impression here in Autumn Park Apartments because I have lived here seven months and some bugs appeared. I'm paying monthly for pest control and now that this happened, the office is charging the total for the treatment. I think that is not fair. That is something I do not I agree with and they threaten me with eviction if I don t pay the treatment. I know the neighbors on the building next to me there was an incident with bed bugs before. I tried talking with corporation but they send me to leave a message. The office building also did not want to give me corporation s number at first.

If I could give a lower rating I would! Horrible communication in your company, I ve been trying to contact someone for weeks. voicemails, website inquiries, property (that now is under new management) and nothing.... I am still owed money and cannot get ahold of anyone! I ve been owed money since May 12th 2019.

We've been living here for almost two years now and it seems we have a breakdown of some service considered essential for legal habitability every other month -- AC, heat, electric, you name it. For the last two months we've been living with exposed wires in our electrical box -- a huge fire hazard. After the power going out on and off for two months and repeated calls to maintenance, we finally got an electrician. After walking in on my wife naked because they didnt communicate his arrival with us, he didn't fix the problem and admitted that yes, this could cause an electrical fire (of which statement several people were present to witness), and we haven't heard anything back since. Two months later I call the office and explain the situation to them, at which point the woman on the phone told me she didn't want to speak to me, would pass it on to management, and hung up on me.

Terrible experience and terrible customer relations, bordering if not crossing the line to legally actionable territory. Don't do business with this company.

Terrible is an understatement for this company. They never answer the phone or reply to emails and keep their customers waiting. The management they hire for their properties do not respect the tenants and treat them as if they own them. My wife and baby were harassed by the property manager at one of their complexes (Imperial Lofts). I would NOT recommend living on any properties owned by this company. Think TWICE before making a decision for your home. I would give this company 0 stars if I could

Property is not taken care of, trash and trees are...

Property is not taken care of, trash and trees are not maintained and they have the audacity to charge you for broken blinds that they walked around and monitor. The carpets are very moldy and you can hear crunching under the carpet and feel the unevenness under there. Sadly you have to insure these properties because they don't take care of it. The employees are great although the never answer phones, don't really care for the residents I'm around. If they refurbished these apartments they would be a great place to live. Hot tub needs to go as well and the club house is an eyesore! You guys can do better being next to places like hunters point and Jefferson point!

They only respond to the "one" 5* review lol. What's wrong, can't handle negativity? That's part of being in business, but ignoring it isn't going to solve your problems. Maybe lawsuits and complaints from BBB might open your eyes. Start responding to complaints and fixing things! Also give a good contact number instead of having your properties give your email address.

My Son and his Girlfriend live at one of their properties. Several months ago they noticed cigarette butts all over their little greenspace. They attempted to talk to their upstairs neighbors after witnessing one of them tossing their cigarette butts over the balcony into their greenspace. This somehow angered the upstairs neighbors. It wasn't long after that my Son and his Girlfriend noticed that their dogs were becoming ill and their paws seemed irritated. They brought their pets to the Veterinarian and were told that the dogs were being poisoned. They reported the littering and the poisoning to the leasing office as well as filed a report with the local PD for the poisoning. The Veterinarian provided a letter detailing their findings to the apartment management. This continued and each incident was reported to the apartment management. Meanwhile, the leasing office management changed. The upstairs neighbors again resumed harassment of my Son and his Girlfriend so they again reported this to the leasing staff. This time the staff actually asked the security officer to speak to the upstairs neighbors. The security officer actually warned my Son that the neighbors were told that they would not be allowed to renew their lease due to so many complaints from many residents. The security officer went on to request from the leasing staff that my Son and his Girlfriend could use the garages of empty apartments until these people left and of course they denied the request. This time, said upstairs neighbors had a disabled vehicle in the parking lot that had sat for months. The apartment staff informed the upstairs neighbor that the vehicle must be moved. This too angered the neighbor in which his retaliation was to key both vehicles of my Son and his Girlfriend. Police were called and they processed the vehicles and filed reports. My Son met with the Manager this morning and the Manager did offer to let them out of their lease if they moved within 3 days...wow, now that was a generous, caring, offer. Many, many, incidents and the Apartment Management did nothing to protect their Residents. DO NOT EVER LIVE AT A NRED PROPERTY! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR RESIDENTS, ONLY THEIR RESIDENT'S MONEY!

This is regarding Villas at Spring Trials. I Initially worked with the Bri, who was helping out from another property and she was very polite. Shiela, the property manager has been very nice as well but her assistant, Angela is very rude & unprofessional & does not follow through with what she says she will do. After I picked up my keys on the first day, I asked her for a copy of the lease that I signed, she said that she would email a PDF copy to me. A couple days went by & she didn t do it, so I stopped by the office again & asked if she had made copies & she still hadn t done it. Her excuse was that the printer was down & updating & that it would take 15 minutes, so I just took pictures of the lease documents on my phone for now & told her that I still needed a printed copy or a PDF of it emailed to me. She said that she would do it when the printer came back up. I patiently waited a couple more days & still no email of the signed lease or even a phone call to come pick up a copy. So I called the office the next day and asked her for it and also mentioned that I had been calling all day & she was not answering the phone. She rudely snapped at me & said well I m the only one here . I asked if she had made copies of the lease & she put me on hold and finally made copies and emailed it. I politely told her that this was literally my 3rd time asking her to make a copy of the signed lease for me and I said that I d appreciate if she would do what she says she s going to do when I ask her because that wasn t a good experience as a new and paying resident & I had been patient the entire time. She got sarcastic and condescending with me & said well I m SORRY you feel that way but I sent the lease already and I don t have to be on the phone to listen to you. I ve been here for 3 years and never had anyone say that. If you have something to say about me, you can talk to my manager . Her exact words. I told her that I don t care how long she s been working there because that s clearly irrelevant & told her she was being very rude and unprofessional with me & that I was trying to leave feedback with her as a resident and she literally continued to talk over me and not listen at all. It doesn t matter if it s the first or 10th compliant about her, it s still a complaint from a resident and should be taken very seriously. Angela is VERY DISRESPECTFUL. She was combative and continued to talk over me and LIED and said that I was yelling, when I clearly wasn t and she continued to talk over me so that I couldn t speak. So I told her that I was recording the conversation and her was response was good, I m glad you did and each time I tried to say anything, she would keep talking over me. Regardless if she s the only person working that day, I asked her several times previously for this lease copy while in the office when no one was there yet. I ve never had an issue with Bri when she was helping out at the office. I also never had an issue with Bri not answering the phone on the weekend when she was the only person working that day nor did she ever catch an attitude with me. Angela s behavior with me over the phone proves that she is only there for a paycheck and does not care about resident s feedback. She seems to think that she s untouchable just because she s been there for 3 years because that s probably the 10th time she s mentioned that she s been there for 3 years when no one asked how long she s been there. I remember when I first toured this property, she tried to lie and say that she bought and owned the company when she s clearly just an assistant that was hired to work for this property, which has a separate owner and that s Nolan Real Estate. I ve seen people working at properties for only 5 months & behave more professional than her. Nolan Real Estate needs to do something about Angela because she displays a terrible impression & poor representation of their company and clearly does not care about nor accepts feedback on how to do better from residents. Nolan Real Estate should not tolerate this behavior at all.

Imperial Lofts, who are managed by Nolan Real Estate are indeed breaking Federal Fair Housing Laws. I reviewed the rental application prior to applying and submitting my application to ensure that I met every requirement. After reviewing the application which only mentions felony conviction for (felony sex-related crime, assault) I was denied FIRST based off of my background. I only have ONE DWI, a misdemeanor at that from over three years ago. This caused my application to be denied. Once I shared with the complex that the application does not mention anything regarding misdemeanors, they then went on to say they will contact the manager, Monday morning. I spoke with The manager, Mary, regarding why I was denied, she then came back and told me that was a mistake and that they are now for the SECOND time denying me because I don't have ENOUGH credit! She explained you have a really good credit score but you just don't have enough credit which is why you are now being denied. She said she would speak with the Regional Manager and see what they could do. Now prior to speaking with Manager the representative I spoke with told me in these cases they would charge you an extra deposit. But for some odd reason they decided to tell me I would need a co signer that makes SIX times the rent. Now my application results that were emailed to me did not mention anything about me being denied based off CREDIT. The emails I received from Imperial Lofts states I was denied for my screening! Imperial Lofts came up, made up, a reason to deny me after I pointed out the fact that the application does not mention misdemeanors. I asked The property manager Mary, for her regional manger work information. She told me I do not have her work information I only have her cell number and I can't give you that. I asked her for the regionals manager name and she gave me a FALSE name. I asked her for the apartments management contact information and she told me she did not have it. That I would need to google it and find out. She also told me that, that would be they way I could reach the RM. The property manager at Imperial Lofts Mary, was extremely dismissive, unconcerned, and very biased. She did not remain professional as she told me she had more important things to do. She also told me that they can adjust the application and it can vary from person to person. Meaning that they can deny me for any reason they see fit and give me an UNFAIR condition to be approved. I honestly feel if I were a white women they would would be more respectful and helpful. They would have never pulled this on anyone but a young black women. I am truly saddened by experience with Imperial Lofts. For the simple fact that the manager told me they chose what conditions they want to give the applicant. They could have chosen to give me an extra deposit like the representative said but they wanted to make it extremely hard for me to be approved.

Does anyone even work in this office? I have literally called every single department, and nothing. And I like my apartment...I just have a problem with some new hires in the office. Certainly there has to be around this. Please don't make customer service of the corporate office the reason I change my mind about my experience living here.

The Boulevard Apartments in Roeland Park are a JOKE. They're management is horrible, not one consistent associate was there through out my lease. They lost my check twice, I didn't have proper air conditioning for a month, and hated every single moment I had to live there. Do not live here, it is not worth it. Would not recommend it to anyone.

I live at one of there properties and i was attacted by one of there leasing agents named Cory. He threw his fingers in my face and smacked his lips talking to me. One of the managers had to push him out of the room of where i was in due to him charging at me with his hands almost grazing my face. When i asked to speak to the property manger he responded i dont know where she is and dont know when she is coming to work? They need help!!

Regarding their apartment complex in League City, TX, Grand Villas at Tuscan Lakes:
This place has beautiful apartments but the rudest office staff I've ever encountered at an apartment complex (Amanda). I never even lived there, nor signed a lease and somehow I am receiving debt collector notices for an unpaid application fee. Ummm, how is that even possible? Either I decided to pay an application fee or not. Very shady business practices. The office staff refused to give me the name/number of anyone to call to settle this matter, only the website of their corporate owners. The only reason this place gets one star, is because Google requires one star in order to post a review. Stay away!

I have had the priviledge to live at two Nolan Real Estate Properties. When I applied to live at the second place, I was informed that I still owed the first place money, so I graciously setup a payment plan so I wouldn't be homeless. But prior to trying to apply to live elsewhere, these charges hadn't been brought up to me in any form. I respectfully paid them in full over a course of 6 months and didn't think much of it. UNTIL my roommate (who had also lived at the same two properties) was contacted after we moved out of the second place, for the same reason: she wasn't going to be approved for her new apartment (outside of Nolan Real Estate) until she paid off the "debt" from the first place she and I lived. I am extremely suspicious of this company, and look forward to taking them to court if needed to get this resolved or the illegal exploiting finished.

I have called and left voicemails on multiple occasions, about the way one of there locations is handling situation. the voicemails always say that they will call back within 24 hours, they never do,
most recently it has been two weeks since I left a voicemail still no call back. All they care about the how much money they can get out of you. If I could give no stars I would. If you are looking for a place to rent look somewhere else.

Properties are visibly kept up but no real maintenance is done. Have put in maintenance requests multiple times and am told "Sorry it's on back order" or some other excuse. Excuses frequently changed. Complained to corporate they were friendly but redirected me back to the local office which was then offended I complained to corporate because they wouldn't correct issues. Now maintenance enters the property regularly without notice (have dogs). Today they entered for a service complaint that neither I nor my girlfriend filed. Don't rent from Nolan it's a slum lord company.

I am a tenant and have lived here for 1.5 years. Management has constantly been changing, and every time it gets worse! I have been trying to contact Nolan for weeks. Office management is extremely rude, and unhelpful. I tried to go to Nolan for help. Left them messages (nobody answers the phone and when you get to voicemail, they say they will call you back in 24 hours... but it's been weeks), emails, filled out the contact us form, messaged them on facebook... nothing. Now all emails are bouncing! I haven't been able to get help from anybody.
