After 3 months still waiting for the visit of the 'expert'. My basement was flooded and since 3 months I can't throw away the molded and stinky content. No answer to my emails. The customer service is very diifficult in communication on the phone.

I absolutely do not recommend this insurance, having been a victim of the merule caused by the neighboring house I contact them being insured for this, an expert comes and confirms to me that I am well insured for the damage caused. Not having any news from them after a few weeks I get back in touch with them and I am told that I will not be compensated for the damage because they were caused by water damage which produced 5 years before at 20 m distance, damage also caused by the neighbor and not responsible. My lawyer therefore contacted them to tell them that they do not respect the contract but despite pls reminders from him no response. Shameful !!!

My experience with NN is negative.
Last month I moved to a new home and asked NN to update my home and family insurance contract. I had to make multiple calls and send many emails to the homefamily@nn.be and my contracts status is not yet resolved. The issues I had:
1) NN representative advised I can modify old insurance contract by completing a form, however after sending request there were no responses on my emails. It took 3 or 4 emails and about the same amount of calls to NN. After visiting ING branch it appeared I had to open a new contract via internet and close the existing one.
2) In order to close the old contract I sent an email with request closure form and on top of that signed a form in ING branch. It is still open after a few weeks of my request, of course they made direct debit for the next year.
3) After opening a new contract via internet the system advised that I will get my contract via email in few hours, but I didn't. I had to take an ING branch visit in order to get it. The funny thing is that when I called NN with request to send my contract to my email they told me to wait. When an ING branch representative called them with the same request, NN sent it immediately.
4) I also included theft coverage when opened a new contract via Internet, after finally getting my police contract, I noticed that a home must have a security alarm in order to be covered, but the website didn't advise that when I selected this option. I don't have the security alarm and asked NN to cancel this. In their email they stated it is possible only for the next year contract renewal.

Nice place for work.. Building is right next to Brussels South (Midi) station and very easy to reach via public transport.. I commute by bike but many use Metro or Trains(if coming from other cities of Belgium)..

No responses or cooperation. They allow the damage to pile up and you suffocate in the driest desert. This is not a reaction to make the name even worse, but a pure decision after injustice !!

I can recommend this insurance company to anyone who likes to wait four months for a response and to anyone who likes to keep paying money even if the risk to be insured has disappeared.

I had an insurance balance with NN insurance through mandatory tying with mortgage credit. Last year I sold my house, but still had to pay debt for a while because the loan was terminated earlier than expected. Moreover, it took four months and about ten emails (from both insurance broker and myself) before response was received and the insurance was actually terminated.

My experience with NN insurance has been horrible. I give you 1 out of 10 points. I will also spread the word of mouth in facebook and twitter to people at large to avoid NN insurance. No thank you.

Apparently it's a good idea to close your entire office the day after you've collected payment on out of date insurance policies. And then of course make sure to keep people on hold for 20 minutes.

They are dishonest. I paid 3,300 in insurance to this company, it ruined my life. They played on a word Total Disability. I am disabled at more than 60% and according to my insurance contract did not cover my credit of 53,000 mtn I am fighting in court against my creditor thank you Delta LLoyd one day it will be your turn to lose everything ...

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience with this In...

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience with this Insurance company. I was suggested this Life Insurance by my broker Immotheker (another bad experience) when I contracted a mortgage. Having done early mortgage repayments each year since 2017 I had the right to a reduced premium. Every year I asked to recalculate my premium by sending diligently all the documentation required and they never answered to the mails, they never take actions when you call. Four years in a row that I get the same treatments, nobody answering your mail, nobody taking action, you just hit a rubber wall. It's a disgrace of a company run by incompetent people with ZERO attention to their customer.
Do NOT take Life Insurance with them. Shop elsewhere and stay well clear from them.

I would give 0 of 5 stars if I only could! Worst assurance ever! After being a victim of a fire the apartment just aside mine they offered me such a low compensation without even any details ... I asked for more details more then one month ago and I am still waiting on an answer ... I would not recommend this assurance to anyone! When I called her she told me that she would not pay my shoes for 100% and that this is normal ..
Will change assurance company with my new apartment, that's for sure.

I have now requested a detailed version more than a month ago but not even a received an answer ... I would not recommend this insurance to anyone! When I called her to say that I found the amount very low she told me that she does not even refund my shoes 100% and that this is normal ... I change insurance with my next apartment anyway, that much is for sure! The thieves!
