My experience with NN is negative.
Last month I moved to a new home and asked NN to update my home and family insurance contract. I had to make multiple calls and send many emails to the homefamily@nn.be and my contracts status is not yet resolved. The issues I had:
1) NN representative advised I can modify old insurance contract by completing a form, however after sending request there were no responses on my emails. It took 3 or 4 emails and about the same amount of calls to NN. After visiting ING branch it appeared I had to open a new contract via internet and close the existing one.
2) In order to close the old contract I sent an email with request closure form and on top of that signed a form in ING branch. It is still open after a few weeks of my request, of course they made direct debit for the next year.
3) After opening a new contract via internet the system advised that I will get my contract via email in few hours, but I didn't. I had to take an ING branch visit in order to get it. The funny thing is that when I called NN with request to send my contract to my email they told me to wait. When an ING branch representative called them with the same request, NN sent it immediately.
4) I also included theft coverage when opened a new contract via Internet, after finally getting my police contract, I noticed that a home must have a security alarm in order to be covered, but the website didn't advise that when I selected this option. I don't have the security alarm and asked NN to cancel this. In their email they stated it is possible only for the next year contract renewal.
