When I was in high school, there were only Japanese people. It will change.
A Japanese person talked to me on the lift, but when I asked why I thought that I was Japanese, he said that he was betting because the boots were atomic. Well, I've laughed as much as I did ( ).

Some lifts are quite out dated but views are amazing on the mountain.

As you know the size of the slopes and the quality of the snow, it was a sophisticated ski resort with plenty of information on the app. There are plenty of large facilities on both sides such as goods and rental shops. The lessons seemed to be solid, and my novice wife was able to do Bogen perfectly in half a day lesson. There weren't many people from overseas in Corona, so now (although it's a bit unscrupulous) I'm aiming for it.

I went to Warm & Gas Day on February 6, 2021.

It is a slope where the course information is difficult to understand throughout.
Looking at the map, if you get on the gondola, it is difficult to avoid the advanced course and return to the gondola station.

Is the course made for skiers? There are many dead zones that may stop when you go to the board for the first time.
Since it was my first time, I couldn't understand the course and I was looking at the signboard, but it was difficult to understand, so I couldn't enjoy the course because I couldn't see a few meters ahead with gas.
Will it get so bad in February even with normal warmth? It was the worst condition.

The meat bun 600 yen (I think it was) at the restaurant near the gondola mountaintop station was scary (laughs)
While there are few foreigners due to the corona, the lift ticket is expensive I think it is a vicious cycle of no customers.
The woman at the lift ticket office also felt uncomfortable with a stick.

The view from the summit is the best. Mt. Yotei looked beautiful. I want to run down on a mountain bike! !!

Although I didn t get a lot of powder during my trip in Feb 2020, I was still impressed by the Grand Hirafu resort. You get access to Hanazono too which is easily accessed near the top of both resorts. Both resorts have nice groomed runs which are quite wide and spacious with a decent amount of chair lifts servicing them. They also had a hooded quad lift which was my favourite with cushy leather seats shielded from the wind.

One of my top places to snowboard. I will most definetly have to return at some point. Keep in mind that the trip will be expensive however besides costs the mountain and slopes are so much fun.

The first Niseko is Gran Hirafu for 2 days.
It consists of three areas, but the building (restaurant) that is the base of each area has the highest quality in the order of Hanazono> King> Hirafu.
Although it is intermediate on the slope map, it is clearly higher than the ski resort level in Honshu, so be careful.
Especially, the sheepshoe sunset is intermediate, but I was surprised at the long steep slope. The upper part is truly snow quality and scenery.
Even if the weather is fine and the view is good in the morning, the weather may change in a short time, so be careful.
If you are hit by a blizzard at the top, you will almost lose track of the course.
The map is also a little confusing, and snowboarding isn't very steep, but it's not very steep. I would like you to write the explanation and branch of the course a little more clearly.
There are some settings where beginners and intermediates are mixed in one course, so I think that real beginners should not go up.
Lift tickets are bullish (high) for 5-hour tickets compared to one-day tickets. It's not kind to people who want to slip for half a day, so I'd appreciate it if there is a cheaper setting.
The staff at the lift platform was very comfortable with greetings and work.
I think it will be a lot of work this season, but please do your best.

Snow is beautiful!

I went to the end of 2019, but I was sorry that there was not enough snow and I could see stones and grounds everywhere.

Unusual for skiing in Japan, it allows off-course skiing (with conditions of Niseko Rules). I'm convinced that the snow is good and popular with foreigners.

I would consider to be the best ski resort in Asia. Great facilities, great hotels and restaurants.

The terrain is very varied and a good place to challenge, but there are so many people, only the black line is no one. On the right is the Hyatt Hotel under construction. It is really a more and more luxurious resort.

One of the finest snow quality, and womderful Onsen spa and seafoods.

Hirafu is the best in Japan. Great long run from gondola and mega powder snow. Sometimes it's quite crowded due to the popularity of Niseko

I think it is good, but personally I like Annupuri.
I wonder if there is a resting place.

Awesome. Spring snow snowboarding. Great runs. Beautiful scenery and heaps of sake.

There is not much snow nationwide this season, but here the top of the mountain is snowy and it is slippery since it does not melt or even ice-burn even in the afternoon. Lifts with hood can be crowded, but lifts without hood can ride without hobo waiting time.

Having been to Grand Hirafu was a great experience for me

It was snow quality unchanged from Teine of Sapporo

It was spacious so I could enjoy it without getting tired

Would have been great in the 1970s, but overrun with bogard Australians and Beijingers. Lifts are too slow and town too expensive. Snow good though, hence the two stars

Until early spring, few days are snowing on snow every day.
In March, the days of sunny days also increased, and it is still a ski season so you can enjoy a superb view and skiing.

Very crowded! Even if you get to the slopes early, everything has been carved up. If you want to really experience untouched powder, try a smaller resort or head into the backcountry with a guide.

Not bad, there are many snowy roads, but the crowds are more and more crowded.

With the entry of foreign capital, all facilities are not suitable for Japanese people. The price is too high. The snow quality of the slopes is the best, but the manners of foreigners are also bad and cannot be used with confidence. I do n t think it s worth going.

There are snowing the night before I get there. Thus snow on the upthere is very soft that I never found from anywhere else.

Love this mountain. Will be coming back for years to come.

Abundant lines and types of bumps, excellent transport capacity for gondola and quad

Powder snow easy for beginners to pick up skiing, also instructors(Tash & Rune) were very friendly and accommodating!

The snow was amazing. An incredible place for a holiday in the snow.

Its just too crowded. There isn't just enough terrain to make a full week out of this stay. Snow is very consistent and some say 'best in the world', but if you are strong intermediate or expert skier, there just isn't enough challenging terrain to make it interesting. Some of the lift lines remind me of the East Coast US lines or Europe during school break. Just brutal.

After a snow storm, all of the fresh pow will be chewed up by 10am. So get out early if you want first tracks.

The village is small with some dining options, but if you are a large group, (>4 people) finding good options will be challenging if you don't book weeks earlier.

You can take day trips to Rusutsu, Kiroro and Moiwa to change up the pace.

Shuttles from Chitose and Sapporo are easily avaiable from multiple bus companies. Whiteliner, Resortliner, Chuo Bus. Private shuttle another option, but will small van will run ~40K Yen.

Its a place to go to check off your bucket list, but I won't be returning anytime soon.

I lived in Tokyo, I went to the end of December 2018. This is the second time in the Niseko area.

Of course it is wonderful as a ski resort. However, there are so many Asian tourists (sensuously about 8 to 90% of all tourists, there are many Chinese companies), they are full of users who do not know the minimum rules and manners in the ski resort Even if you go to any course from beginner to advanced level, you are in the "beginner" course and dangerous (there are many inexperienced skiers and borders also in the off course area). Westerners, who used to be a part of the past, are still available to instructors, rental shop staff, real estate people, but I think that it has become quite few as ski resort users.

Although it has been 20 years of snowboarding history, it may have been experienced for the first time that the ski resort where the lift stops so frequently (In the case of a single lift, a person who falls down or a person who can not get on easily can stop two or three times). For ski / snowboarders who want to enjoy purely sliding or have some experience, it seems that stress will be accumulated for a while.

Also, of course, buses from Chitose Airport to Niseko, of course there are many Asian tourists, but the manner of using the bus is the worst. There was no such feeling at all when visiting for the first time. Perhaps there was a time period. However, even if the snow quality may be inferior somewhat, if the situation like this time will continue in Niseko, it is a personal impression that Niseko will not choose the expensive traveling expenses and hotel expenses. . Powder slips even in the Hakuba area near the Kanto area and Nozawa Onsen, so that access is definitely convenient and there are many good ski resorts.

We arrive two days ago in Niseko, we took a 2 days pass for the 4 resorts.

Unfortunately today and yesterday we had to much wind to ski at Niseko village and Annapuri. So we stay at hirafu and hanazonno.

We know that the wind is not the fault of the resort but when we ask if they can do an effort (for example one half day free) they just say no.

That shame because we love Niseko and because of the wind we just pay a all domain skipass for just the half part of the domain.

A wide and versatile course, a view over Mt. Yotei, the best powder snow in the world make me feel like I got better skiing. I think that it is one of the leading ski resorts in the country.
Personally, those who call it Niseko Hirafu Ski Area are the ones I will.

Superb mountain, lots of very long slopes, lots of undergrowth easily accessible, lots of ski lifts. Possibility to hike to the summit in good weather and the view is incredible! The ski descent is worth it !!!

There are so many people

There are two types of lift tickets you can buy here: "Zenzan" and "Grand Hirafu, HANAZONO".
"All mountains" are available for lifts at all four ski areas: Niseko Grand Hirafu Ski Area, Niseko HANAZONO Ski Area, Niseko Village Ski Area, and Niseko Annupuri International Ski Area (each ski area is connected near the summit. )
As for the "Gran Hirafu, HANAZONO common", two lifts are available, Niseko Grand Hirafu Ski Area and Niseko HANAZONO Ski Area.
The whole mountain is so large that it can't be reached in a day.
The range that can be used by both Grand Hirafu and HANAZONO is wide enough.

The restaurants run by the ski resort are all expensive, but the Boeing Villa on the slopes is a bit cheaper.
If you are interested, please search for "Bouyoso".
Since Boshiso is not run by a ski resort, you cannot use the lift ticket and the facility ticket.

2021/2/11 Niseko every year in light snow. The snow quality is fluffy and the board is good, and it is in the best condition without resistance of snow at the time of a slip turn. As a measure against corona, the gondola can accommodate up to 4 people, and the 4-seater lift can accommodate 2 people. If you are a family member, you can have more than the limit. Most of the customers cover their mouths with sports masks. The slopes are rattling even though it is a holiday on-season. There were many people with small children who were relatively good at it. Also, sometimes foreigners. Some people fell and kept screaming loudly, but I wasn't sure if they were resident. No one is walking on Hirafuzaka. Even though it is a holiday, all the family lifts on the slope below are not in operation. I was surprised that the group talking loudly in the Kansai dialect without taking a distance at the gondola platform had the mask under their chin. I don't think I'm a traveler. I want you to take a little more distance. 4 is because the lift fee is a 5-hour ticket of 5200 yen, which is quite a fee. If the gondola and the upper lift end at 15:45, I would like a shorter and cheaper setting.

I came in at the beginning of 2020, but because the gate of the flower garden was closed, I slid here mainly. The flower garden was bottomed out with snowfall 15cm, but this was OK.
It is thankful that you can choose depending on the flower garden main and condition when it is 30 cm two days ago.
Because there was little snow, there was a lot of mini mash and it was fun.

Credit card accepted. There is a parking lot. Personally, I think it is the best slope in Japan. Complete powder snow and a vast slope. However, the lift often stops due to the effects of snowstorms and strong winds. It is said that you have to go for at least 5 days in order to glide in the clear sky and see Mt. Yotei.

Pretty good, but service in the area has went down over the years. Awfully expensive for not much in return. If a warm winter, better avoid. Gets extremely icy.

Lift ticket is 8000 resort itself isnt bad, but they do gouge you for money. Lunch is around 2000 . Lift lines can be long. Fun terrains if not crowded. Also, very few , virtually all n.

The ski resort of Niseko's representative, which can be reached from New Chitose Airport by bus, or from Kutchan station by bus. From Niseko Alpen and Hirafutei Hotel you can go straight to the slopes. I could not go up from Hirafuti without a low speed lift, but now the high - speed lift has been improved.
It is a quad lift called Center For, or Niseko gondola is the main, and you can use Nighter. The fatness of this night seems to be the biggest attraction of this ski resort.
Although the lift will often stop the lift with strong winds, if you can use it you can go to Higashiyama and Annupuri using the Miyama Common Ticket.

The snow is good and the terrain is many. Sidecountry is more fun and super fun.

I am satisfied with the size of the night game. I like to practice in the morning with powder and night games when there are few people.
