Gorgeous grounds, Shakespeare in the Arb was awesome!

Hard to find free parking nearby. Very beautiful, with a great riverfront walkway. There are restrooms.

Always a great place to go reconnect with nature. Beautiful and well kept at all times of the year.

This is a wooded area off the Hill Neighborhood of the UMich campus. There are several trails one can walk around as well as a peony garden. It is a nice place for a walk or a run. There are also trails besides the Huron River.

An hour went by so quickly. They even have stairs which is what I did and is a great leg workout!

It is a vast garden and flower garden with the Huron river inside, a comfortable place for recreation, jogging or just taking a walk ... similar to Bogor Botanical Gardens

This is a great place for a run or just a nice walk with your friends in nature. There are also large fields where you can lounge, throw a ball around, or hang out with your dog. I enjoy coming here to de-stress and it is gorgeous in the winter after it snows.

Beautiful. A nice addition would be some sculpture or artistic Installations similar to Cranbrook.

Outstanding nature area on thr Huron River with an abundance of trails.

A friendly place in nature right inside the city... people are so friendly... and the plants are an education in themselves.. the short peony season is a must

What a beautiful place. Minutes from the city but the feeling is of being in the woods and the country.

Love the Arb. Make sure you check out the website for events including the peonies annual bloom and Shakespeare in the Park. If you venture a nice walk on a warm day head down to the river landing to dip your toes in the water.

Excellent facilities. I recommend visiting the university.

Parking on Washington is limited. Try a different gate next time.

The peonys are spectacular if you go during late May and June!

Nature preserve in the middle of a city. A respite from the world. Wonderful.

There is a balance here between natural and curated elements. There are hillside trails, meadows and of course the river. The arboreatum does not have drive in acess. So be prepared to walk from wherever you might find a place to park.

This pretty much my favorite thing in Ann Arbor. I'm lucky to work close by and visit during lunch. Many trails and different types of environment here. Dog friendly on a leash too! The peony garden is a must-see!

Nice place to calm yourself after taking final exams. But don't forget to check the weather forecast, nothing can cover you from the rain.

A beautiful place to walk through! We also enjoyed building a fairy house in the fairy woods/troll hollow near the peony garden.

A perennial favorite for Ann Arbor denizens who want to take a nature walk, partake 7 different natural landscapes, or just get away from it all in the middle of the town. 170 acres of lush greenspace right near the hospitals and beside the Huron River accessible to one and all for free.

This is an old park right in the city of Ann Arbor. The Huron river runs through it and some of the diverse species are named with small signs so you know what they are. In the Spring there is a fabulous Peonese garden with every kind and color of Peonese. Lovely walking through it. Sometimes there is live music in the park, or you can walk down to the river, swim, fish. In winter you can take sleds or toboggans down steep hills for great fun.

The arb is a fantastic place for walk through the trails, a hike through the hills, or to simply relax near the river. The arb has something everyone can enjoy. It's a great place to take pictures, watch birds, or just hang out.

Always a great place for a mid-day walk, a nice jog through or a picnic (pre-covid of course). The flowers during spring are beautiful and the air feels crisp in the fall. I can't wait to take my next walk through!

A beautiful park with plenty of trails to enjoy. Great for a hike with a friend or a pet in nature in the heart of Ann Arbor. Take in lush views or set up a hammock by the river to make the most of this gem.

A great park for a ramble. Take a photo of the map near there entrance - when weather conditions change, it's nice to find a quick way out.

It's a treasure of southeast Michigan. It definitely compares to the large metro, and state parks nearby with an added magnetic appeal- at the heart of treetown.

We have been there for Peony festival.. it was a lovely blooming .. there were various colors there are lovely rhododendrons also of different colors.. and many birds.. be careful of mosquitoes

Nice little park with several hiking trails. Parking is a problem though. The visitor center was closed when we went so had to find a Porta potty.

A beautiful naturally landscaped area on the edge of Ann Arbor and the Huron River that offers a great getaway from city life. The arboretum is comprised of hills, wooded areas and a meadow all connected by trails.

Very large area with varying terrains, from the beautifully-maintained peony garden at the front, to the river-side walk, to the open grass plains. It's also got decent hills, with legit hiking trails for being smack-dab in the middle of downtown. Overall, a great place!

Beautiful trails with river water running on your side. Very accessible for Ann Arbor residents or people at the UM. Nicer if you can catch the peony garden bloom!
