Perfect location for business, and family weekend. It s a nice option to visit the city.

Although the hotel is positioning itself as a five-star, it is a good solid four in the city center with a chic location. Everything interesting is within walking distance of the hotel. They took a Premium room with a view from the window. The windows overlooked Catalonia, but there was no street noise in the room. Breakfast was not taken, because there are many cafes around where you can have a tasty and quick breakfast half the price than in a hotel. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet. If we return to Barcelona again, we will stop here.

Emailed hotel in advance & got a lovey cake & chocolates on arrival into our room.
Eleven bar is lovely for drinks with views!
Breakfast was great! everything you could want; cereal, meats, cheese, fruit, full breakfast on request & even cava!!!!

None of my details at check in took almost 30 mins. Yellow stains on pillow cases had to move rooms at 1am because of air conditioning leak in room. Not enough room at pool no chairs or beds. Tiny portions for expensive prices at pool bar. Great view friendly staff but so disappointed well overpriced quality poor.

Great hotel. Love the rooftop bar, swimming pool and the view. Generally the place is really nice, staff are great and hotel clean and worth the money. I recommend this hotel to anyone. The place is also very well located.

Excellent attention from the staff, quite decent rooms (but nothing special to be considered a 5 star).
The 3 stars are for two reasons: the buffet breakfast did not seem to me according to the hotel (and the price), I have been in 3 stars with an infinitely better breakfast. But the really unfortunate thing is that in the heart of Barcelona in 2020 the Internet connection was 1.2 mbs (both free and paid). I had to share a connection from my mobile to be able to work or watch a series.
In any rural house in the middle of the mountain they offer you an infinitely better connection.

This is not a 4 star if you exclude its location which is beautiful and close to everything. We found some bugs in the shower which made me really unhappy.

The attention is very good. From its terrace you can appreciate the beautiful view of Barcelona. Highly recommended

This year we celebrate the Christmas dinner of the company. The personal service has been excellent, the right place and the right food.

What a birthday reception. Check in Do I have to remind myself then Amex Platinum card advantages. The rooms for 5 stars as before also criticized by others small, noisy. How can it be that a 5 star house offers premium rooms that have a cloakroom, sink, toilet and shower in a small room. Complained and received 4 hours later Larger room where construction site is opposite. But I didn't care about slow. Guestrelation made no professional impression with "This is a gift from the hotel for you" No it is not !! These are Amex Platinum advantages. Should be explained to you by the hotel manager. There are two stars for breakfast and the nice people who lovingly carried our bags from there to there. For a 5 star and about 170 p.p and night bad.

Excellent location for visiting the city, nice reception staff who let us check in at 10 am for our early arrival. Beautiful rooftop terrace and bar(they should service for teatime snacks), great breakfast. Get a room facing inside so you can have a great night rest. The room interior is not per se 5 star luxurious, but if you are here for city visit not for indoor staying, this is definitely the hotel to head to.

The concierge at this hotel are amazing! My husband left his phone in Sevilla at the train station and they help us find it and ship it back to the States. They also left us a gift in our room of chocolates and a baby shirt when they found out we were expecting. Thank you so much Beti and Elizabeth for your help.

We stayed at NH Gran Hotel Calderon for 4 nights towards end March this year and as always it was a great experience (as we have stayed at other NH Hotels before in Europe.)
The location is fantastic as it's near the city centre so you have restaurants, shopping areas, the stop for the Hop On Hop Off buses all within walking distance, including Gaudi's Casa Batllo and La Pedera.
Our room was street facing with a good view and the size was good with all amenities like a safe, tea/coffee facility (Nespresso machine), mini bar and toiletries.
All the staff we engaged with were very polite, helpful and knowledgeable, especially Elsbeth at the Customer Relations desk.
We visited Eleven, the bar and loved the view from the 11th floor immensely, the cocktails, sangria and nibbles were awesome and the staff again were really good.
We had dinner at Tablafina, the hotel's restaurant on our last night as we were pretty tired and a bit lazy to venture out. The tapas style meal was delicious and the portion size a bit bigger than what we had had in the other restaurants.
Overall, a very warm and wonderful stay in this hotel! =)

I was able to travel a lot for work and I was lucky enough to stay in very beautiful and listed hotels. This exceeded all my expectations and was officially the best to date. The courtesy and class of the staff was unique. The environment is comfortable, clean and modern. The room is definitely spacious, clean and very comfortable. The pool terrace offers customers a spectacular view and a relaxing place to spend a pleasant after dinner. The only flaw: I registered as a regular customer of the NH chain but I didn't get any credit for my stay in Barcelona.

Visited on the occasion of a symposium on Cyber Security. Very good and modern facilities, with free WiFi for attendees and multipurpose rooms bright and spacious. Attentive and very nice staff.

Wonderful hotel, centrally located on the Ramblas. Very luxurious, beatiful room, great service. You can plug in your phone or ipod in the bathroom to play your music under the shower. Next to the bureau and bed there are usb sockets for charging phones. Room service menu is very nice, not only providing info on allergies, but also suggestions for light options. Airco great, quietly keeping the room fresh without freezing it or causing a draft. I had a room opposite the elevators and I didn't hear a thing.
One minor point would be the level of street noise in the front meeting room, and I wasn't totally convinced by the meeting lunch. Very personal I admit. But reason for the 4 out of 5.

Very nice rooms with large bathrooms. The entire staff is wonderful and even got me a room before the official checkin time when I arrived. Aside from 1 rude waitress that insisted I couldn't sit in the breakfast room to have coffee, everyone was very friendly. I would give this hotel 5 stars if it weren't for the rude waitress.

A very good hotel in central Barcelona. Huge view from the roof terrace. There is also a pool. Very good service, and friendly service. Clean rooms. Great good breakfast buffet. As the plane went home early Sunday, breakfast wasn't ready. The money for this I got refunded. Recommended.

Hotel nice, staff mainly very nice. Except maybe one receptionist. Delicious breakfasts, the best bread in the world. A beautiful view from the roof.

From the moment we arrived the staff was on top of everything. The service you expect for a top named hotel. Everyone greeted us with a genuine smile and tone. A huge thanks to all of people here for helping make my wifes birthday a big hit. You have to try this hotel gret service and great food in their restaurant.

Excellent 5 star hotel, we had a suburb stay, the staff were excellent, not overly attentive, just enough. Genuinely friendly too. Roof top bar is brilliant and value for money, considering the top service , location, ambiance and view. Breakfast was similarly of the top order. The rooms are clean and plenty of towels. The Hotel made our recent stay in Barcelona outstanding but classy.

I had a good stay in NH Barcelona. It was everything in needed to enjoy Barcelona. But my real thanks go to their under manager Marcos, the house keeping and Maintenance staff and the helpful receptionists for their honesty!!!! I stupidly left my passport and valuables wallet with a lot of money in it in the room safe - I left in safe on checking out. Three hours later Marcos was on the phone saying he had it safe in the main hotel safe. I was 100 km away driving in my Motorhome south. I turned round and drove back, parked slap outside the hotel and was given passport and wallet back. I suspect many hotel staff would have taken advantage of such a find a taken it. So well done to all staff at the NH Barcelona. My grateful thanks. My penance was having to drive an extra 200 km but then I deserved it.

5 star hotel in upscale Ramala Da Catalunya Street in Barcelona.

We stopped by and hung out for a few of the Barcelona's local beers Moritz Epidor. Great ambiance in the outside seating area. And the homemade Blue Corn chips were good too! We will definitely come back there again.

Just stopped by waiting for a shuttle to another hotel. Looked nice and the staff were helpful. Great location !

Great experience at this hotel, one of the best in Barcelona. We had a very pleasant stay here with a baby. Their staff are super friendly and accommodating. The rooftop and room view is superb!

Eh... what can I say... location is good just cannot get my head around the star trek white and red design statements made here... service, breakfast, amenities are all quite generic but then again, I guess it's what one should expect.

We got upgraded to a large suite just because they had the room available.. but other then that.

Nice modern hotel. Room is quite small. Seems like the wall is paper thin that you could hear your neighbor. And not super clean.

Great views from the rooftop as well as the hospitality. The rooms were amazingly clean and the staff was simply the kindest we've had in a long time. The location of the hotel is ideal as it is walking distance from so much. The restaurants are abundant and the night life is very vibrant. We truly enjoyed out stay and will be back.

The hotel is fine, to be 5 stars does not have great luxury, the terrace is a claim some very good views of the city, the service always very attentive and friendly.

I live in hotels almost every week around the world. I really enjoyed this hotel and the reason was down to one simple thing: TIME. The time that the reception spend on us (and others) was fascinating to experience. Everything was well explained, restaurant and location suggestions were top notch, and there was a genuine interest in the experiences we had at the different places when we came back. The staff were really well trained and authentic. Besides that, the room, roof-top and location all lived up to a 5 star place. Looking forward to come back to this hotel in the future.
