BEAUTIFUL hotel in the center of Amsterdam. Elegant and very clean rooms. SPECTACULAR breakfast !!!!

Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Nicely furnished room, good enough for a few nights. Good starting point for the various sights of Amsterdam. Everything within walking distance so come with public transport.

Room was nice and tidy, what put me off was restaurant cook on the omelette was cross contamination with ham & my veg omelette, wen confronted he the shef said I should of told him not that he should not be using different coloured coded utensils!!!! Otherwise very high standard service

We stayed in December for three nights,was great. Very good breakfast, a spacious room, the best location you could ask in Amsterdam. Definitely will come back.

Fully renovated place with n less elitist coffee, beautiful decoration. For a tea with a pastry is great, prices correct for the place and the situation

Had a tour with school, super nice rooms. The Presidential Suite in particular looks very nice and has a fantastic view. Certainly worth a visit and you will certainly not regret staying there overnight.

Great hotel accommodation experience, breakfast was also so great, with a lot of choices of food. Thankful to winter tuin team specially to ms aida barrera.

The hotel is very good, is very well located and the breakfast was amazing because l had so many options. I liked that my bathroom had separeted bath and shower and it was in the new side of the hotel.
I recommend to everyone who wants to have a good stay in Amsterdam

I regularly stay in hotels and usually have good experiences with the NH chain. This time it was only so-so. The hotel looks amazing on the outside and presents itself as quite prestigious, but the room I got was pretty mediocre and small. Staff was a little too attentive, barging into the room unannounced 2 (!) times during only an overnight stay. The location is great though, so that's definitely a plus!

Delicious lunch with a beautiful view of the Dam. Friendly and extremely correct staff and a good menu with affordable dishes. A delicious bonbonnet with coffee.

Nice staff, 5 minute walk to metro station , calm environment, shuttle service helped a lot. However not recommended if your planing frequent trips to City center

From the moment we checked in, the service was wonderful The daily breakfasts were exceptional! Rooms were immaculate.

Was just a short stay but lovely place and location was superb, staff were very friendly and efficient

It is nice place but it looks fake luxurious place.
I hated how the receptionists weren't friendly or welcoming, except for one.
They seemed not willing to offer help and not willing to let us in the room half an hour early, they didn't try to put any effort to accommodate their guests.
I understand the point of leaving a deposit, but it is more classy to not ask for a deposit; After all, even if their guests decided not to pay for a breakfast it won't be that costly to them, but asking for it felt very offensive as if they don't trust the guests.

Well located hotel, contemporary decor and attentive staff. In particular, Yasin, who made our breakfast time extra special with his attentive service, fabulous smile and a great desire to ensure our time at breakfast was memorable. A true customer focussed individual who clearly loves what he does as a career. A second mention<br/> of Britt on the front desk who demonstrated great professionalism in dealing with us.

Control fine but poor kitchen should better eat something at the Febo.

Went here to enjoy some high tea, and it was an amazing experience. The only qualm I have is that there was some construction nearby so some of the views outside are blocked but you have an amazing view of the square where a carnival was being held, and there is a lot of shopping nearby. For high tea you can get as much tea as you want or coffee. You can also opt to start with a glass of champagne which we weren't even charged for. The finger sandwiches were delicious as were the scones. But even better was the dessert. It consisted of numerous small cakes and candies and finished off with ice cream. The macaroons were delightful. For small portions it was more than enough. I highly recommend going here for high tea.

Tasty cup of coffee drunk with a pastry. Unfortunately they don't seem to have the sweet tasting anymore, but at the checkout I saw it pass by, unfortunately it can happen! Staff is - mostly in English - correct.

July 2019 - updated: Stayed a second time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Special to Fran in the Cafe and Sarah in reception (actually she is everywhere!) Such fantastic service and polite caring accommodating people. We highly recommend the Hotel, location is truly 5 star. The special attention to detail in our room from bedding and ambient lighting make it very special. We will see you again without a doubt.

A very nice hotel with an excellent location in the middle of Amsterdam. After we were initially allocated a room in the annex building, which could not meet the requirements of a five star hotel, we were given a room in the main building, which was very well represented and beautiful. The staff are friendly and the hotel is clean. The breakfast buffet offers everything that is important, but we noticed that almost all the food was unsightly thrown away during the meal. The employees dumped all the food in a bucket so that they could be disposed of together. Unfortunately, there is no pool or spa area. A gym, which is available to hotel guests for use, is another hotel that can be reached on foot.

5* hotel with tiny rooms, very expensive but ideally placed in the city.

Exactly what you can expect from a 5-star luxury hotel. Large rooms, ample linnen and towels, ironing board in the room, room cleaned when you ask for it, ... Breakfast in the room was a little cold, unfortunately - that could have been a little better but overall, the whole experience was well worth repeating.

I stayed one night at this magnificent hotel. Beautiful room with all amenities in the center of the Dam Square. The staff at the reception was very kind and very helpful. For any information on the reception are preparatissimi.Parliamo hour of spectacular breakfast if you are staying at the hotel must have breakfast is stratospheric. What else can I say I'll be back. Thanks to all the staff of 'hotel to make us happy customers thanks to all and Happy Holidays.

Really a very nice hotel from the Spanish NH chain. Nice clean room, a somewhat hard bed but that will be different for everyone. The bathroom is top notch. Separate shower, nice bath, double sinks and a toilet behind a door. Funny design detail is that the wall between room and bathroom can be opened and closed at will. The breakfast in the winter garden is sublime. Somewhat a lot of staff come to ask if everything is to your liking.

High quallity food and services, realy pricy but deserve it. The rooms are renovated and the 3 michelen quality of food is outstanding. Cant wait to visit the new resturant!!!!

This hotel is a one word; 'top'!. The rooms are very large. The service is as you would expect from a 9+ organization. The room service is very fast. And the rooms are very very clean and the cleaners are very professional. The only thing I really miss at this hotel is a drink upon entry.

Highly recommended, wide spaces and the young people of the perfect reception, it is in the same square in the historic center, they make sometimes interesting offers for their category, I recommend it !!!

A perfect hotel in the heart of Amsterdam on the Dam. The reception and check-in is fast and the staff are friendly and provide all kinds of information. The room is spacious and has a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. Bathroom has a wall that you can open to the bedroom. You can make coffee and tea in the room. There are various catering options at the hotel, including the star restaurant the White Room.

Perfect location, great view from Dam-facing rooms, clean, but pricey and tries to grab money off of tourists in any way possible. 50 eurps for a taxi to Schiphol?? An Uber is 25!
