Mint Hotel Amsterdam Review

Eastwood Restaurant has been worked out to perfection with details such as stamped paper bread bags, name plates for staff, Amsterdam specialty beers, the convenient use of segments at the start of the evening (so that it seems busy early on) and the view of the bustling city life through the glass walls. The price level is excellent and groups of eaters who want different portions can go well here thanks to the building blocks of the menu.

Friendly staff and clean rooms, plenty of space and well laid out. Centrally located and right next to the station and a short walk into the centre - good views over the canals if you get the right room.
Strangely for a 'high end' hotel that no cups or mugs in the room, only disposable coffee cups and stirrers, bit of an unnecessary waste!

Fantastic place to have a coffee or a beer or even a snack. It is a little bit expensive but the view is truly magnificent. I m putting 4 stars beacause the carpet wasn't clean and my glass was cracked. At the time we visited the second coffee was for free.

On our first visit, we were located in a noisy part of the hotel, upon complaining, they were eager to make up for our bad experience by offering us all sorts of upgrades to our next reservation.

Just had a cocktail, mint tea and a mulled wine with my girlfriend in the Skylounge.

The cocktail .. don't drink too much. What a mess.
Horrible. Disgusting and not the drink.
For a delicious cocktail you have to go to Njoy!

This hotel was exceptional. Very friendly I feed and helpful. Cookies are amazing that they give you also. Roo. Was brilliant. No negative feedback atall. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My husband and I slept here after our wedding party, which we had celebrated in the neighborhood. We took the cheapest room, which by the way was still very expensive, but it was a nice place. There was a hair dryer, trouser press, iron and plenty of room for our belongings. The staff was extremely polite. Only the breakfast was a bit messy, but there was a lot of choice. Too bad there were hardly any vegan options.

Great location in Amsterdam, close by parking (under hotel), clean rooms, modern setup, easy check-in, check-out, close to center.

I have been there on a business occasion and stayed for 2 nights . It is well located close to the central train station (5 minutes walking distance) and it offers what you require. Fitness center, nice rooms, the quality of Holton and a beautiful bar on top with an excellent view of the city. Sight seeing in walking distance.

It is the ideal place to have a beautiful view of the center of Amsterdam. You can climb even if you are not staying at the hotel, although you must consume something and by the way everything is very rich and very expensive! Anyway, it is worth paying the price of having even a coffee that has refill and they serve it with great detail (decorated the cup and with some exquisite accompaniment !!!)

It was quiet and not close to all the tourists. They also have an ice machine!!!

Excellent location. Very close to the central train station and buses. Bike hire available in reception. Greeted with a warm chocolate chip cookie on a cold day. Excellent service. Fabulous upmarket roof-top bar with panoramic views of the city. Clean and well equipped rooms. What more can you ask for? Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Would recommend and would return here.

Fantastic rooms, clean and with all amenities. amazingly friendly staff. Rooms are little small, but that's to be expected in Amsterdam. Great place, although it's a good 10 mins walk to the center, if you're OK with the walk then it's definitely worth staying here.

On arrival we were approached in English. During the meal the owner did his best to speak Dutch. The service was excellent and the food was tasty, well prepared and of excellent quality.

Worse hotel services I have ever experienced. We where given wrong rooms which the management team where supposed to rectify but didn't. A very rude night room serivce. We made a compliant and no action was taken. For Hilton hotel group this is the worse and badly managed hotel.

We had a nice time there. The bar on rooftop is ok, when we were there, it was super crowded.

Fantastic panoramic view to city centre. Hotel is located near central railway/bus station, so any problems with transfer to airport. However yesterday and today fast train to airport was cancelled due repairment of the rail. Please be attantive that don't lost your flight in day of departure from Amsterdam.
Hilton Central has fantastic lobby bar on 11th floor, on Saturday night there are a lot of people, nice atmosphere, fantastic views 365'.

Fine hotel, service to business and leisure guests of high standards. Rooms and public spaces clean, well designed and comfortable Food quality is good with reasonable variety to satisfy all palates. Staff is friendly and earnest in their desire to provide service of high International standard. Floor to ceiling windows in guest rooms bring in good light, even on cloudy days. Minimal floor, table and wall lighting adequate to create calm. Soundproof windows, walls and doors keep external noises from disrupting sleep, work and meditation.

Special occasion upgrade executed with just the right amount and selection of decorations.

High class hotel with top facilities and great food. I like the atmosphere. Centrally located next to Central station. Unfortunately hotel prices in Amsterdam are very high nowadays.

This is an amazing hotel. It overlooks the city, is ~500m from the Centraal station. Easy access from Schipol airport. There is a very nice lounge on the 11th floor, and a great executive lounge on the ground floor. They also have underground parking if you need it. The tv is strange, as it's an iMac with an apple remote , but it works, and if you need a computer for something it's right in your room. The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. I had been planing on staying at a different hotel during my stay, but a co-worker suggested I try here. I liked it so much that I switched to to the Doubletree for my second stop in Amsterdam

my sister arrived yesterday early in the morning so the reception told her that the room is not ready until 2 or 3 p.m . She went to rest and relax in the lobby while the room will be ready for her . Then after couple of minutes someone inside the hotel stole her Gucci bag that I do not know how much it is!!! that contain her mobile and credit card ,ID card money and a lot of things. security camera shows that 2 guys did it. So where have the security guard been ? where is the hotel staff ? Imagine she was tired after almost 9 hours trip then this happend to her . then after that hotel did not do anything as Compensation just 2 green apple sent to the room later !!!!! . the room itself was not quiet also as maintenance work was somewhere around . what a strange way of dealing with such problem.

Nice centrally located hotel in Amsterdam with very polite and helpful staff.

The location of the hotel is right beside Central Station. From the hotel you are approximately 8 minutes from the red light district and surrounding area, as well as a 12 minute walk from Dam Square. You'll have access to all the tourist things from cafes to boat tours, from museums to the National Ballet and Opera house. There is no shortage of restaurants within walking distance too. It's a phenomenal location. In the hotel you have bike rentals for approximately 15/day, a Starbucks and the beautiful Sky Lounge. There is also a lobby bar for quick, easy and less formal lounging. The rooms themselves are spacious and clean. They are fairly basic, but have everything you need. Besides, you'll be enjoying the surrounding area rather than sitting in your room.

Beautiful hotel in a great location beside Central Station.

The Double Tree impresses with its central location, right next to the main train station. Striking: only young staff can be seen. This works professionally, but everything seems too rehearsed for a real bond with the guest. At breakfast nothing is left to be desired, including champagne. The fitness room is also well equipped, including earphones for a workout. The gangways are unadorned. Despite the train directly on the north side, the rooms are very quiet. The equipment, including Apple TV and WiFi, also fits. A small minus point for the dysfunctional operation of the toilet flush. The SkyLounge is definitely worth a visit: ours, however, was hopelessly overcrowded.

Great location, very busy but with accommodating staff

Very good conference hotel. The rooms are spacious and I had a nice view of the harbor and train tracks. The latter was also heard occasionally, but it was not disturbing. The snacks and drinks around the meeting room were very high quality and always well filled.

My partner and I stayed here celebrating our honeymoon. We were pleasantly surprised with the nice bottle that the Hilton supplied for our trip! Customer service was good and the amenities were excellent!

Had a drink with wife and daughter and ate something small. Whiskey cola 15. A coke 5. Two slices of brown bread with tuna 12. Sushi salmon was tasteless 25. Service is friendly but very mediocre. In short, it is expensive. The price is not in proportion to the quality. If Amsterdam I'll never go there.

Perfect location and views of the city. Service and breakfast were great. Make sure to go to the rooftop bar for the best views of the city.

Great hotel for business travel. Great location and has everything needed - safe, workdesk, coffe/tea, mineral water in the mini bar (with no extra charge), etc. Very good breakfest.

Excellent location and very friendly staff. Breakfast had a lot of options and was nice. The room size isn't that huge but good enough to have a nice sleep. They can possibly add some wall art to the room to make it more lively. One interesting part was that all rooms had iMac instead of actual TVs. Overall a very nice hotel. Would definitely recommend it

Very nice hotel, and very close to central station in Amsterdam, but very expensive! Drinks at the bar were $15 each, and they charge a safety deposit fee for every day you are there, which we had to fight to get back after. Continental breakfast cost $17 a person!

The burgers were really good. But the fries, Gamba's and the service were really bad. The waiters are not friendly and it takes forever for them to take and bring your order

Nice place for conferences and events. Beautiful view from the room.
But the price is rather high compare to the same quality and location. Still, very comfortable business hotel. Very glad to stay here. Breakfast was perfect.
