Excellent hotel. Full of modern fittings with everything in great condition. Love the mobile app from which you can control everything in the room from lighting, air con, TV and even unlocking the door. Very cool. Great location right in the thick of things. Good spread for breakfast. Love the mini bar policy (4 free items a day) and free newspaper/magazines through the Press Reader app. Highly recommended!

Had a staycation here over the Australia Day long weekend in a superior queen room. I had a fantastic time. Clearly this hotel is very well managed. From check in to check out, I had a flawless experience. My package included wifi, 4 items from the mini bar, free movies and breakfast (buffet and cooked to order). I had an excellent view for the fireworks too which I had not expected. I ordered room service using their app, this is a very efficient way of doing things. Location is fantastic, right on the Queen street mall and Southbank is a walk across the bridge. I left the hotel feeling refreshed and relaxed, and have already booked my next stay. My compliments to all the staff

A very nice hotel, my room was a bit small, but comfortably and practically furnished. Just bad luck that I had my room next to the elevator, which meant that I couldn't sleep well. I can't rate breakfast, bar and pool because they weren't used.

The hotel is located in the city center in the pedestrian zone, which has the advantage that everything can be easily reached on foot, be it shops and the surrounding locations.

If I were to travel to Australia again, I would come back here as well.

Amazing place. We stayed a night free thanks to a mate who had overbooked. Four free minibar items, a phone that controls EVERYTHING and acts as a hotspot, free movies, amazing room service, awesome ensuite. Will definitely return!

This place rocks. Where else can you stay where the mini bar is included and the rooms are high tech!!!

It s so sad to have to write this review, however I feel it is a must.
We went to the rooftop to celebrate a friends birthday.
The venue was amazing, and could not complain.
However the bar staff were EXTREMELY rude, no only on one occasion, but several.
They did not want to be there, or serve any customers for that matter. The attitude the lady who served us carried was beyond acceptable.
I strongly suggest management look into the female bar staff who is on the pool bar section.
It has honestly left a sour taste of such a great venue.

Amazing ambience, great location and innovative ideas make this a great hotel. Visited overnight for our 4th anniversary and were very impressed. Comparable to Qt Sydney or Ovolo 1888

Comfy location, cozy room but was bit noisy outside

(Didn t stay night, went to function). Pool deck area is unique and well hidden, looks stunning (could not get photo without people). Bar is well equipped and food is wonderful.

Would recommend for functions of 40-100 people.

First time staying here, will 100% be back. Great rooms, beautifully appointed, very central location in the CBD. No signs for reception on the second floor, which was a bit confusing, but that can be forgiven. The in-room dining is like a takeaway in disposable containers, would prefer something more eco friendly. We also held a work event in one of the function rooms, which went perfectly. Good food, good IT set up, excellent service by Laura. Thank you.

Probably the nicest Hotel and best location in Brisbane CBD

Excellent hotel-management should be proud of their staff.

Our flight was diverted to Brisbane on the way to Japan with engine trouble so we were put up at this hotel. Am glad we stayed here from the moment we arrived there were 3 young gentlemen handling the check-in for us and there were a lot of travellers waiting. The room was excellent, the service was excellent, the location is excellent and the breakfast was excellent, I don't often come to Brisbane but if I do I would not hesitate to stay here.

Very luxurious hotel in a central location of Brisbane! The rooms are a bit small, but very tastefully decorated and clean. The staff is very friendly and happy to help his guests. For a city trip of a few days I can highly recommend this hotel.

Pretty flash rooms but small, it's in the queen street mall so there is no way you can get closer to Brisbane.

Nice place to stay for a few nights in Brisbane. Fantastic location. Right in the centre of town, a quick walk over the bridge to the convention centre. The breakfast was nice. Clean rooms and bathrooms. The reason I gave 4 stars was simply because there was no wow factor, or unforgettable service.

Wonderful modern hotel with great service. I was only able to stay a couple of days, but those days were the highlight of my travels.

Great location in the city centre. Rooms are modern, clean and fully wired - love controlling all functions via the wifi system. Nice touch to allow two free items from the mini bar per day and great that when you check out you just drop the electronic room key into the slot and your card is debited later. Stayed here twice will do so again and highly recommend this hotel

The food is inedible, the child has to sleep in a cot in the bathroom, 9 hours without food. People are forced to stay here by Qld health and are being treated like dogs, the hotel is charging $4,000 for a small room with no cooking facilities for 14 days. People cannot leave the room, no fresh air. I will never stay in a NEXT hotel again.

Very modern, so very central to city shopping, every staff member I encountered was courteous and knowledgeable.

For a last minute choice the hotel turned to be really good. The rooftop bar was great. Great hotel with helpful staff!! I'll definitely stay there again.

This was the first time for me actually staying at a well known hotel in the city... I was not disappointed and I really had a great time. The staff did everything in their power to make my visit memorable. Their restaurant and bar had some of the best food I have ever had the privilege of sampling. Definately staying here again in the future.

When our flights were moved to another day, Qantas arranged my partner and I to stay here for the night. I'll be honest, we were disappointed that our journey to Japan was delayed but the hotel was an awesome experience. The rooms were very modern, clean and almost everything could be controlled by the smart phone provided with the room (or you could download the app yourself and manage it on your own phone). Recommend.

Fantastic hotel. My partner and I stayed in a King Room and it was modern, immaculate, homely and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only downside is I am now back home sleeping on my uncomfortable shocker.
Location is also brilliant and so is the price.
Last but not least, management should be proud of all their staff as they are warm, friendly and make staying at the hotel a pleasure. Thank you for your awesome service.

Hotel right in heart of city (George Street end. Convenient to everything and a short 20 minute walk to Suncorp. Stayed in room 2307 over the week end. Excellent room, spacious and comfortable, with awesome view to Southbank. Level 4 bar was great as was breakfast on level two. Check in was seamless and staff friendly.

This hotel is probably the best value best located in Brisbane. Staff are great rooms are wonderful food is very good. I have one issue. Don't advertise happy hour on the big screen at the pool then not honour it because it's NYE. Just left a sour taste in what was otherwise a great stay.

We had an awesome stay at Next Hotel Brisbane. The place is very clean with freebies in the room's minibar aside from the coffee and tea. We were offered to enjoy the guests' lounge which has computer facility, sleeping capsules, access to the pools, showers, and free coffee or tea since our flight back was not until 6 hours from the time we checked out. The location is great and the staff are friendly and very helpful, especially, Dave who kindly hooked up our mobile phone to the smart tv in our room. 'would definitely come back and recommend this hotel.

Is it a very eco-friendly hotel? I have a mosquito in my room and a cockroach in my companion room. I have heard that Australia is not environmentally friendly because it is eco-friendly, but I have to pay about $ 19 for breakfast, eggs, ham and sausage.

Had one of the nicest vacations here at the hotel. Amenities were fantastic and great deals available.

Very hip place, rooms are small but location is in city centre. Very tech-savvy hotel with a smartphone in the rooms that can be used to control lights and even check out. Free 4 mini fridge items a day was also great.

Oh what a day we had here in Lennons Restaurant. 31 of us rocked up for Christmas in July. The meals were amazing quality and James our waiter was like one of the family. Fun, witty and courteous. It was the perfect day. Thank you.

Do not stay here! I stayed a while ago and accidentally left behind 2 items, a Gucci belt and a Chanel lip balm and the day I left I called the hotel and the reception said the cleaners didn't find anything. I know I left them there because I was using them the last night I was there. The hotel then contacted me to see if they could persuade me to change my mind. This hotel takes your possessions if you accidentally leave them!

The hotel room itself was very nice, however: the toilet seat was disgusting, the bed sheets and pillows had what looked like mould growing on them. Manager was extremely unhelpful when we discussed our issues with the hotel. The Samsung phone did not work and made it impossible to turn off the lights without turning off all of the lights with the master switch. The shower kept going from cold to hot. I did appreciate the four item a day policy for the mini bar. Overall the hotel exterior was very nice however with the service of staff I would not recommend this hotel

Next Hotel Brisbane has always been my preferred hotel when traveling to Brisbane for work. For the most part, it has always been an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, my most recent stay was unpleasant and off-putting. While searching for the iron, I found what I presume to be the previous traveler's clothing and dirty underwear. By the time I discovered this disgusting surprise, it was already late into the night and my work was spread all over the bed; I did not have the energy to pack everything up, advise the concierge of my issue and then change rooms. So I closed the drawer and decided to tell the concierge about this issue the next morning when I was checking out. Morning came and I went to speak to the concierge. I assume he may have been a manager as he was in a suit and tie and no other employee was dressed like this. When I showed him a picture of my discovery (see attached), to my surprise I was a little disappointed and disheartened by his response. His response was a simple "Oh Jesus. Sorry about that." He seemed nonchalant and apathetic to the issue. There was no attempt to rectify the issue, no offers to make my future stay more comfortable and no reassurance that this was out of the norm and unacceptable by the hotels standards. Due to this disappointing experience, I will most likely choose a different hotel for my future travels to Brisbane.

Great location...rooms comfortable, great roof top pool and coffee shop/bar

One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Rooms are so cool and the layout is unique.
Loved the mobile phone n the room that you can use as hotspot, light/ac controller etc and the Samsung wireless charger.
Reception cafe has lovely food as well.

Great hotel. Rooms are clean and tidy and facilities great. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that a number of the restaurant and bar staff weren t overly friendly. Coffee girls didn t know how to smile and bar staff were very similar.

The hotel is conveniently located on the street mall across from the Myer centre and is a good place to pause for a quiet drink.
