News Cafe Revonia Review

This news cafe is always bustling due to its central location but sometimes the music can be a bit too loud.

I've been the for meetings and their food is great.

The food was good but no avo with the Mexicana breakfast (one of the most important aspects of the breakfast) no explanation given.

Great place for a drink. Love the cocktails and live music.

News Cafe is recommended for their wide selection of cocktails. The food is average in terms of taste and portion size, and is reasonable price. The service is average: nothing remarkable, nothing appalling. The vibe is upbeat, and it is a loud, good-time place for you and a few friends.

Not so sure about this place to be honest, for the longest time on a saturday we were the only people there, some how it seemed there were more staff members than actual clients, even though there was a dj and the music was great, some how the place lacks a bit of atmosphere.

The venue is quite nice. Unfortunately the staff weren't too friendly and the service was less than average. Staff kept on forgeting we were there and boxes and crates were being stored in the dining area.

I have not been to NewsCafe in a while as I see it as noisy and a club. Also I don t think I am the target audience. My brother from another mother asked we meet at Rivonia News Cafe. I was very impressed with :

Staff - service amazing and respectful and friendly

Noise - they had a live band and I find it noisy and not really great music or singing. I asked to be moved inside , it was better but still noisy.

Overall for those who don t mind loud noise and sounds plus great service and food , it s the place to try.

I kinda like this place!! I had a cocktail and nachos and it was delicious. The waitresses were great, very friendly and efficient .
And the music was good!!

Great specials on vegetables. I also love the sweets and nuts dispenser section. Quite a huge variety there for your selection. I think pricing though is relatively steep in this section. Customer Service is good although o can suggest consistent availability of certain vegetables, there was no broccoli when we were there which we were actually looking for not sure what else was out of stock. Anyway I'd definitely shop there regularly if I lived on the area.

Very chill place to hang out. Quiet on weeknights and bubbling during the weekend

Blergh. Horrible service, unstable tables which made our drinks fall, then random people were brought to join out table. We waited for over an hour for our waitress to bring the bill. Definitely not trying to go back there again.

Had a lovely lunch with my sisters. The drink we ordered was kinda nasty, but it was so pretty so that cancelled each other out

Great lunch deals on offer at a central location on the Blvd. As the slogan says... "Good Vibes". Pull in for good food, friendly competent staff and management that care.

Wow! Was it loud! So News Rivonia has decided to get a dj in (not sure if it's Friday and Saturday). Music was pretty good, but it definitely isn't the place to have a conversation. Drinks were decent, service was good.

They have these amazing breakfast and lunch specials most of the time, good people, friendly environment

Waited over 45 minutes for our food, which was middling at best. Definitely won't be back.

Me and my boyfriend decided on going for some cocktails we loved the vibe, waiters were friendly and helpful. I would also like to thank Odi and Craig for making sure we had a wonderfull time we have a new place to call home. Like Odi says welcome home

Popped in alone after having a hectic day I sat right by the counter the hospitality was perfect. I left refreshed and smiling.

They do not substitute menu options where one does not eat certain foods. I didn't get a substitute for bacon since I do not eat pork. My breakfast was also served without bread even when the menu states that it comes with bread or toast.

News cafe is news cafe. Nothing is amazing it's all just average. Except the service. The service is terribly slow. Whether it's busy or quiet. News cafe is no longer "About the Vibe" I'm afraid....
