Is this Newscafe still in operation ? Thought It closed a year ago. It was a cool hangout though

Just another News Cafe. Not particularly great in any way.

Awesome food great service and brilliant cocktail specials..

It has a good vibe.. However the waiter told us how mucb of a tip she wanted and i feel like that is very unprofessional

Wouldn't let us book a birthday dinner because some people are under the age of 23. Never heard such rubbish, as long as you have a driver's license you can do a track day with Ferrari so why can't you eat at a restaurant if you're a young adult. It's a shame because we could've been loyal customers for many years.

Good place to hold a business meeting or Sunday lunch. Very chilled.

Good place to listen to music, dance, consume alcohol, eat, and relax. Great service. Quite clean.

Friendly staff and a cool environment to stimulate creativity. Not to mention great lunch deals.

Manager has zero managerial skills, at least to black people. Only attends non-blacks maybe they're money is diamond crusted. It's just an awful place if you're black. Never setting foot a there again

Awesome, friendly, helpful waitresses and great cocktails! I didn't try the food though so can't comment on that. It has quite a nice vibe, but seems more popular with the younger folk.

Not happy, just back from rivonia, ordered an amstel draft it was not cold , barman was not interested or the manager

The prices are alright and there's an excellent choice of drinks to be had. Make sure you try the flaming Lamborghini

Happening on Sunday eve's. Live music on Sundays to make you groove. Other days it's a graveyard

Wow what an experience me and my friend had lunch and coctails. The staff was friendly and on the ball with the service. Food was delicious, i had the spicy chicken quesadilla and my friend had the Sirloin and we both enjoyed it.We tried a few cocktails on the menu and it was yummy. We saw they have alot of specials breakfast lunch and sundowners. A big thanks to Craig the manager who made us feel at home. We wil definitely be back with friends.

after a long skillfull display day of real awe$omeness unto the skatepark..a trip down to News Cafe _Rivonia was just too cool
