Too many vendor representatives; no one quite excellent at helping the inquisitive shopper.

One of the best places to buy tech products in New York. The shop assistants were available and competent, moreover the place was equipped with many products, starting with the famous google Home and Amazon Echo in all the different variants.
If you are making an electronic purchase in the Big Apple, this place is undoubtedly highly recommended for your purchases.
It is also located in a central area and it is easy to reach it even during a walk not strictly oriented towards shopping.

Old fashioned tech store. Mostly mediocre stuff, high prices, and pushy sales staff.

A place where you can find all kinds of items of high technology such as TV computer etc etc visit it that the prices are affordable.

Big place with wide variaty of electric and electronic devices, except for music CD's department which is very poor and no available human assistance

Very poor customer service, I was getting their price match guarantee and even the manager had no idea how to process it right. They made me buy the laptop again which was extremely inconvenient. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES. All I saw were unhappy customers.

Did not like the staff
No one was entertaining us when we where trying to buy a phone.
The guy in evenings in Samsung cellphones section did not treat us well.
People in computers Section are okay and are well guiding.

Sometimes I wonder how the brick and mortar locations of Best Buy continue to remain open. lack of stock, a diminishing inventory, antiquated POS system and long waits on line. In the end, I did get a good recommendation and left with what I need, which says something.

Pretty nice place has 2 floors a bathroom and employees are welcoming.

Guy named Chase was very helpful during my last visit

After going to my doctor I decided to pick up a Birthday gift for my Dad who is a proofessional photoghrapher.
Upon entering the store I was immediately followed.Two employees were inches behind me as I was browsing the display. I noticed a bestbuy Security person in yellow staring at me at the same time. I went downstairs and he immediately followed me downstairs.He then stood at the end of the aisle as if I wouldn't notice him
I tried getting some help with the cameras, I ran into a female employee who claimed she specialized in that department.When I asked her what was the difference between the Sony camera and the Canon the only thing she could tell me was the we're old and not very good. No information on their features specs nothing. She said if you want a good camera buy the Nikon which was about $500 once again I compared it to another brand and all she said was the Nikon is "old school". I ended up getting the Nikon not based on what she said but after a careful comparison where the specs were almost identical. The Nikon was $50 less. I also applied for a Bestbuy card,there was a fraud alert on my credit so she had to call Bestbuy credit. While standing there I was approached by 2 security one was the guy following me from the very point when I entered the store. The sales manager Schemleck aprroached me and asked if everything was okay. I told him I had breakfast and it's a sunny day. He then asked me to leave the store, when I asked why? He stated that their employees felt threatened by me. I was unarmed and in no way threathing. I refused to leave the store until I had completed my purchase. After my purchase I spoke to Mr Schemleck who seemed as though he was drinking and needed a Sobriety test. After my speech he didn't have anything else to say and became mute.
I left the store and filed 2 complaints
Which is still under investigation.
No more shopping at this Bestbuy for me, I might leave there in a body bag

The store is quite complete and has competitive prices in the electronics business, the service is usually left to be desired. Do not expect too much sympathy and goodwill from the staff.

Big store with lot of selection. But don't expect an Apple store service. Service people in a hurry to go to next customer rather than showing options and making a sale. Possibly because it's a very busy place in evenings. But if you know what you want to buy .. specific model and brand. This is the place. You can order online and pick up too. Easy walk from Grand Central
