I had a great experience working with Richard Bier at New York Living Solutions. He helped my husband and me to find an apartment that is a great fit for us. He was trustworthy, kind, and friendly. We had lots of questions about apartment hunting and the whole rental process, as well as questions about New York as we are new to the city - he answered them all and gave great advice, super responsive when we needed him. He checked in after we moved in to make sure everything had gone well. The place we ended up renting was one he suggested that we wouldn't have found otherwise, and we love it. :)

I highly recommend Jared D. Paletti as a broker! I tried as an owner to rent/sell my apartment unsuccessfully last year. I was approached by millions of brokers trying to get my listing and would say anything I wanted to hear just to get it. When looking for a 2br apartment in Brooklyn I was fortunate enough to find DelRoy. He established what I was looking for and then took me on a tour of properties that were right in my range. The property managers know him which makes the whole thing less stressful. He's completely laid back, which I appreciated, and within a week I was done. This how finding a place should be.

Alex Caballero helped us find a wonderful apartment and I highly recommend him to anybody in need of a broker! He is professional, responsive, kind, and honest. After we put down our initial nonrefundable deposit, but before actually signing the lease, there was a bit of a mixup between myself and the tenant living there and the tenant ended up owing us some money back. I was pretty skeptical that this would happen (it's NYC, after all) but Alex gave me his word that we would get the money owed. Lo and behold, after signing, we did receive the money from the previous tenant, with Alex mediating the transaction. He was also able to help us secure an expensive TV model from the previous tenant at a surprisingly low cost.

Lastly, when we put the original application down, it was for a lease assignment, but Alex convinced the building to give us our own new, annual lease. Thanks, Alex!

Renting an apartment in NYC can be a daunting experience, that's why I felt like I'd won the lottery when William Monge was the broker showing the East Village apartment listed. Jasvir is the absolute best! I had less than two weeks to find someone to take over my apartment lease during one of the worst times of year, winter. Prior to Jasvir, I had hired another broker who was unsuccessful in finding an assignee. I thought for sure I was going to have to pay two months rent for breaking my apartment lease agreement. However, Jasvir showed my apartment to several potential assignees and found someone to take over my lease before my short deadline. Throughout the process, he was responsive via phone, text, and email. If you are looking for a broker, I highly recommend Jasvir due to his professionalism, timely responsiveness, and area of expertise!

This was the most rude person I have ever worked with (Tony Messiena). He only wanted his share of the money and could care less for the people involved. Terrible customer service. Not wanting to spend time to educate a new person and easily frustrated because customers don't have everything in line when no notice was given. DON'T GO HERE. There are many more real estate agencies in the Financial District that easily can help you and actually be kind doing it.

Jared Paletti is fantastic. In just one Saturday (which is important because I work 9-5 on weekdays) he was able to show me over a dozen units over a good range of locations and prices. One of the amazing deals he found was a one bedroom penthouse that was downtown (and technically not even on the market yet). I immediately put in an application and ended up getting the lease! Having heard and lived through some of the horror stories of Manhattan apartment hunting, it's quite remarkable that Jared was able to accomplish so much in so little time. None of my friends believe me.

I was NOT the easiest client to work with but he treated me like family from the beginning and really cared for my opinion on the places we visited - which is not something you can say about many brokers.

Will was available to speak at all hours of the day (literally), even a few times at 3 AM when I was freaking out about signing my current lease. He was able to explain to me why the decision was the right move.

I was super skeptical about having a broker help us get out of our lease. But when I met with William Monge... he was such a bulldog and persistent and on the case that I thought, "Let's give him a shot. William Monge at New York Living Solutions is the best! He was very attentive to my situation and handled everything! He is very professional and takes the utmost care of his clients. He is a great communicator and kept me in the loop on everything. He helped me break my lease in record time!!!! I was very surprised and happy that he got it done so quickly! I am very grateful to have had him working to get my apartment leased. He promised he would get it done and he did! He truly is the best at what he does!!

How is it possible for this company to receive anything over 1 Star? I sent an email to Tony about an apartment on Gold street asking for specifics on the lease. Yes, I m looking one and half month in advance...I don t want to rush into an apartment without information. So I get a response too early thanks . That s it? You can t tell me what s coming up in a couple of weeks? You can t take more than 5 minutes to respond to an email professionally and give some Information? Horrible customer service, they must be using an ad reputation company to boost reviews on google because based on what I read I certainly am not being treated that way. I ll take my cash elsewhere.

I usually don't post reviews but my experience with NY living solutions and in particularly agent Ralph Perez were surprisingly STELLAR. I've rented many apartments over the years all over the New York area and have generally found brokers who are more interested in their commission than making sure I was happy in my new apartment. Ralph Perez listened to my wife and my needs, worked extremely hard and was always available to us during our search. He found us the perfect apartment and his communication skills made the process seamless and easy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ralph to anyone in the NYC area looking for an apartment.

After letting me wait for 45 minutes and having me sign this dodgy agreement, Tony shows me an apartment that's very different from the one on StreetEasy (same price but one less bedroom) and he surprises me with a 15% broker fee, of which nothing is mentioned in the ad. After I express my surprise, he literally throws me out and shuts the door in my face. I'm astonished that people like this serve the NY community...

Delroy has helped me rent my apartments for a number of years. He is experienced and friendly and has brought fine renters consistently. He is through with his work, a good communicator and he is able to help both myself and the renters.

I have never written a review before, but I need to let everyone know how truly wonderful it was to work with our broker Brittany Pope. We spent the entire day looking for an apartment and after walking 13 miles and seeing many, many apartments, we called Living Solutions. I was able to get through to them at 5:00 and Brittany had a apartment that she thought would be perfect for us. I explained I could not come back tomorrow, so she called the the present tenant and she was able to convince her to let us see her apartment an hour later. It was exactly what we wanted and the entire process was so easy. Just 2 days later we were signing the lease. Brittany was there every step of the way for us. Brittany would text me back as soon as I would text her with any questions within seconds, which put us to ease, as this was our first time. She then even stopped by after we moved in to make sure everything went well, which it did. Everyone at the apartment building was great to work with, so I can see that Brittany would only recommend quality places to live. Thank you Brittany for all your help!
