This is a place I've always dreamed of getting to see and I finally got to go with friends from Green River House here in Greenfield. We took a bus to Boston and then I got to look and learn more about all the awesome wildlife they have. It's worth it to me to go again and again.

Had a great time at the aquarium while I was in Boston. Expected more and wish the aquarium was bigger. Did like how you spiral up the aquarium and then spiral down along the main tank. Coolest part was seeing the workers in the tank feeding all the fishes. Spent an hour there and thought it was more than enough. Afterwards, got to walk along the harbor. Definitely a great view at the harbor.

A little too expensive, considering the size and variety of exhibits available. I went on a Saturday and it was an absolute mad house. For me personally, I would recommend looking at other places in Boston to spend money/visit.

Little pricey get a day pass from your local public library so save on up to 4 admissions also imax is only 5$ more if u add it to ticket purchase so plan ahead as show times are different worth working it into the day. Make time to walk around outside lots of great marine views. If comimg from south of Boston look into the Ferry service from Quincy and Hingham to add to the adventure and save on parking costs and stress free travels

Nice place to visit with children and/or out-of-town guests. Lots of different animals to see, and so much to learn about. The cafe is a bit expensive, but its a nice place to go after walking through the aquarium. We enjoyed coming at the time when the sea turtles were being fed.

Loved the aquarium. So much to see in the main tank. The spiral to move between the floors gave an amazing view of the different species living in the tank. Sad that the leaf dragon tank is being renovated. Missed my chance to see them. Definitely going back in the future.

Went when I was a kid! It was something I wanted to definitely do with my kids! They had so much fun! The fur seals are a blast to watch, so are the penguins! Close by parking garage, that's definitely pricey, so make sure you take your time!

A lot of fun, there are no aquariums this good in New England. Tickets are expensive but libraries in the area offer discounts ($10 per person up to 4). Very close to Faneuil Hall, make a day of it!

Excellent aquarium with multitude of fish and mammals. Staff are helpful and happy to answer questions plus they present informative talks. Cafe with excellent choice and reasonable for an on site cafe. Well stocked gift shop. Entry cost is what I would expect for an aquarium of this size and is certainly comparable (if not cheaper) then UK aquariums. The GoBoston card includes entry to the aquarium and is excellent value for money.

The NE Aquarium suffers from one problem they cannot fix, size. On a day when the crowds are light it is a great experience, and despite the small footprint there is a lot to see as you wind up towards the top of the massive tank in the middle of the building. On the perimeter there are numerous small tanks with various fish and other small exhibits. The sea lion exhibit outside the main building is a nice and on warm days a nice respite from the dark interior.

This is by far the coolest aquarium I ve been to. The entire building is built around an enormous tank filled with every marine creature imaginable. The other exhibits are equally interesting, although less jaw dropping. There are multiple touch pools, and there are regular demonstrations at the top of the giant tank and with the seals in an outdoor exhibit. Definitely worth the price!

I haven't been to an aquarium in years and this was a perfect reintroduction to such a fun few hours! I went with my friend - we're both in our early twenties but this made us feel like kids again, and we both had the best time. It was fairly busy, which is to be expected on a Saturday afternoon, but it didn't take away from our enjoyment at all. Prices were pretty good, especially with the student discount. Highly recommend the large circular tank in the middle - you could easily get lost in the fish for hours, and watch out for the turtle! Loved it and highly recommend, especially if you're an adult and just want to be a kid for a day.

Pricey yes. Amazing yes. I would think that the high price goes into the awesome care they take off the animals and keeping the high volume traffic clean. I don't mind the price when I know it's a worthy cause

The octopuses! This place is so nice but if you have an active toddler then you are done in 1.5hours. Not worth the parking plus the price if the aquarium. Just bite the bullet and get the membership and you can save $10 on parking in the garage and see the place more than once. Took the trolley tour and it was WONDERFUL!

Always a great place to visit! I hadn't been in years and it's still as mesmerizing and entertaining as it's always been. There are too many things to say what is the best about visiting there. A new experience that I really enjoyed was the touch pool. There was an aquarium employee giving instructions and information as you were able to put your hand in the pond. You kept it towards the top with your hand open. As you did so there were sting rays swimming that would come by. They would surface higher to meet your hand because unbeknownst to most, they actually enjoy being touched and are very soft. It was an amazing experience and made that whole trip worth it all by itself!!!!

Nice place to spend 3-4 hours with kids. Try to get the tickets online so that queue can be avoided..variety of fishes and lots of penguins. The major attraction was the gigantic fish tank and seal show. Also try to do the Harbor walk when you come out of aquarium.

Absolutely the greatest Aquarium I have ever been ...

Absolutely the greatest Aquarium I have ever been to yet in my life. Everything from the exhibits to the gigantic cylindrical tank you walk around is completely amazing. Out of all the places i visited in the city, I took the most pictures here. The exhibits are very informative and fun to read and seeing some of these exotic animals in person is just breathtaking. I can see why they offer package deals for this place becuase if I was a local I would visit quite often. Anyone of any age that comes to the city of Boston should check out everything The New England Aquarium has to offer. I got lucky enough to come when the scuba diver was feeding some of the fishes. I attached some of my pictures.

First time back in years. Was wonderful! Giant tank and all other exhibits were interesting, especially penguin exhibit. All areas of building were nice and clean. Took in IMAX movie, which was terrific. Highly recommend going this time of year because it is less crowded.

It was a hot day and it was SO crowded in there you couldnt feel the ac. Think of disney land (people wise, not exhibit wise) on a busy day but inside a muggy dark space. I was wondering what max capacity is because there was barely any room to walk. There were also many families with double wide strollers. There just isnt much room.

The "exhibits" looked sad and small. I felt bad for the penguins, the temperature was probably uncomfortable for them too. I know im spoiled after seeing Atlanta's Aquarium but this is just sad.

I have been to many aquariums, and this is very clearly the best in my opinion. Each of the exhibits are so very well done - I scuba and I have never seen such realistic natural appearing vignettes. Truly amazing. Well laid out and in a great area. And they have an octopus to boot!
