A good aquarium, not super big. It's centered around a central cylindrical tank, there are some sea turtles which are pretty neat and make a visit worth while. The skates in the touch tank are kind of beat up which is a bummer.

A really nice aquarium with the big draws (for me at least) being the giant turtles and octopus. However at approx $25, the entry fee was a bit on the expensive side for the size of the aquarium

A great, compact downtown aquarium located in a great part of Boston. You can grab a boat tour or go get something to eat at Quincy market.

Nice Central tank exhibit, great for wandering. Side exhibits are mostly well maintained. So far have not seen a seal show there, not sure if they have them. Touch tank area was cool. Gift shop is expensive but that's to be expected. Great city aquarium.

The New England Aquarium is an exciting place. Aquatic life is so varied and amazing. There was a nice display and two presentations. The place has something for everyone.

The cost is reasonable because passes are available in certain municipalities, discounts are available for children and seniors, wheelchair bound individuals get in for free, and there are group rates.

There are handicap accessible stalls, but not on all floors.

Great place. Beautiful scenic location.

If you search hard enough, you can even find affordable parking.

Trying not to let childhood nostalgia for this place lead me to overrate it. Cons: high price, SUPER crowded on weekends, info boards not as informative as they could be. Pros: the awesome central tank with spiral ramp, helpful staff giving lots of presentations throughout the day. If you're in Boston with kids, I'd definitely go. Just know what you're getting into.

The New England Aquarium impressed once again! The cleanliness and general appearance anywhere we went was top notch. Staff was very friendly and attentive. They didn't butt into any conversations with knowledge but instead patiently waited for direct questions which everyone we encountered answered with ease! The overall set up of the aquarium was a bit confusing at times but thanks to the oversized and brightly colored arrows on the ground we found our way to each and every exhibit. A Tuesday morning is a great time to visit as crowds were at a minimum and you could view each live feeding easily.

Beautiful and very clean. Was maybe a little smaller than expected but so much to see. Staff was very friendly. Wish the gift shop offered more kids shirts that advertised the location because we are in visiting from Buffalo. I could go to target to get a cute shirt for 11.00 cheaper. Would have gladly spent what they were asking or a little more for a shirt that said NE Aquarium Boston. Anyways, but the City Pass, not only is it discounted but also lets you skip the lines!!! Ps- touch tank was a hit!

I LOVE that they finally got on board with offering a discount to EBT card holders. It makes this great place accessible to lower income families that couldn't otherwise afford to take their children to. They gave a large variety of exhibits and animals. We love the seals!

Famous aquarium near the sea with a giant and striking central tank that you can not miss. They take very good care of the animals, there are very clear explanations all over the place and some interactive screens to delve into the information.

An overcrowded, mismanaged unimpressive aquarium. Please visit the Chicago aquarium to see how this type of an attraction can be done well. Everything here is dark, scary for kids to move around, and probably twice as many people as reasonably should be. A big boo for Boston aquarium. City pass holders get to stand for a long while at the orange ticket window, the rest of windows are dedicated to sell tickets. Want to support the penguins here? Buy the tickets online, don t actually come here, skip the cat lady s basement experience.

We Loved it!! We had a great time visiting the New England Aquarium. Excellent staff, very compliant with our special needs for a wheel chair. Exhibitions were very colorful and didactial, with a lot of information to read and learn for people of all ages. The center exhibition, with 2 huge turtles inside was mesmerising. Thank you for giving us such a great time!

This is an incredible place. There is a giant aquarium in the middle that spans like 4 floors. I could just watch the fish there for hours. They have a fantastic interactive display where you can identify the fishes you see. Along the walls are smaller tanks with specific populations on display. It is fun to try to spot all the creatures that should be in there. There are penguins all along the first floor and we happened to be there during a feeding which was awesome. The seals and sea lions were nice, but their enclosure could use some work. All in all, this is well worth the cost of admission. If you are planning to visit multiple sites in Boston, look into getting a City Pass. We didn't discover it until it was too late.

Good attraction place, right by the sea, aquarium exhibit can be covered in less than half a day, there are other things to do like the IMAX shows or the whale watch which can be bought as a combo ticket along the the aquarium. all good except for the price, which is way more than what you get.
