Been there two time one of the best hotel on town staff was helpful and friendly breakfast was great Chek in and out was fast rooms was big and clean location was great not to far from the action still not to close so it's very quite
So today was our fresher's party there . It was soothing place . Nice hall, good food. Since we had huge number of students, the washrooms were quite few in ratio to the students.

I and my wife were in a valentine dinner. Buffet dinner was really worth the money we paid. Wide varieties of food and drinks. I personally like the pork chop and hams while my wife liked bakeries and the dessert . Highly recommended for luxury dining.
Historical building. Well maintained. Has an older and a newer wing. Suggest choose the newer building. Restaurant is a good buffet.

Really enjoyed the excellent courtesy from the staff. The rooms were good but the bathrooms left a little to be desired. Also the power outages in the rooms were quite frequent. As i was visiting with family and as i have visited a lot of star hotels/resort in tourist destinations, i expected there to be some area for children to play in or some amenities to do so. Incorporating the same in your hotel would really be excellent. The pool upkeep was also not visible. Food was also good. overall thanks for the excellent stay.

Nice Hotel. Celebrating 40 years, as it was evident from the Fitness center and it s equipments though no even internet reception there as to comply with the heritage. Otherwise the rooms are old and somehow ok. Breakfast is a real mess too although it seems to be not a 40 years old.

Washrooms were not managed properly. After reaching the washroom, they showed the msg to use other washroom on groundfloor. (in event hall). Not expected from a 5 star hotel.
My stay was pretty good, considering what Nepal can offer as a hotel.
The room was not great, the wifi very low, knowing that the G does not exist, but hey, the staff was nice and warm, and we still feel that they "try" to do the best. So it deserves a good note, because I take into consideration the context.
I went there for seminar and I found it as one of the Loyal Types hotel. Wonderful designs and lobby. Great services with manner. i found i quite easy to reach.

This is one of the best locations, at the heart of the city. Good five star hotel, with great architecture and ample space for parking. This hotel is also one of the players receiving a huge part of development aid as part of their business, by hiring halls and serving food to programs, events and meetings. A lot of movements can be seen or observed here. I personally don't like the way they deal with guests. The people who are working there for long time have deep sense of distinction between Nepalese and foreign citizens. And one can observe that as well.

Stayed here some 20 years ago and came back here in 2018. The hotel still looks the same and feels the same. Food is better outside on Durbar Marg. This hotel also has a casino.

I'm currently posting this from the three hundred rupees hostel I stayed in the night before who have allowed me to use their WiFi even tho I'm not a paying guest.

This is one of most sought after 5 star hotel in kathmandu having centrally located near Darbar Marg. Hospitality is exceptional. Morning walk track, open swimming pool and huge adjoining garden are some of the facilities to be admired.
The only issue I faced was internet which was a not stable and strong enough to ease my work flow

The Yak & Yeti is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Kathmandu. However, the best aspect of the experience is the incredible and attentive staff. They are always friendly and happy to help with any queries, big or small.
Four stars easily. They have a beautiful garden in the back and a decent bar but they charge for Internet. Easy walk to Thamel.

Old place which has a history, you can find many shops inside, rooms are clean i like products they provide ( shampoo, soaps), customer service on high level. There is some construction and renovation around but you can ask to get room from anorher side, so you won't hear any noise. Very close to Tamel square.
Spacious, looks nice. Clean. Staff are just ok. They could improve a lot. Over priced. Food is good if not fabulous. Not good for big conferences. Sometimes demonstrate poor management. Lacks any emergency medical assistance. Lots of opportunities to improve.
