Though its a 5 star hotel even getting charged for WiFi i found it atrocious.

The hotel is huge and clean . I'll recommend for an awesome experience. I had some trouble with the reservation but I'll recommend everyone to book it in advance

Facilities are somewhat dated. Room wise is still ok other than the strong musky wooden smell with broken shower head and dirty carpets.

Probably the best hotel of Kathmandu. Great rooms, service, bar and restaurant (restaurant has local and international food). Superb garden with swimming pool. Realy the place to be.

Clothes stolen. Police report submitted. The security staff could not explain missing time on the security camera when trying to dismiss the theft. YouTube of conversation will be submitted soon. Magazine article to be submitted.
Not the first theft report, and every time the staff refuse to deal with it. They just deny. The hitel manager said I should count my underwear before I leave to check for any theft.
Small theft of a necessary stopover to Everest destroyed the trip.
Once up the mountain - it was fantastic.

Building is situated near durbar Marg and has good communication. Construction is old and look like heritage building. Service is good

Stayed here last week for a conference in one of the heritage deluxe rooms. It was very clean, bright, with a comfortable bed, modern shower. They included two free 1-litre bottles of water each day. The food in the restaurant was superb, a highlight of my stay. My package included free breakfast buffet, and the overall rate was good for the quality of the hotel. A nice quiet oasis in hectic Kathmandu.

Great place, the restaurant is the best thing in this hotel. Surely a true 5 star hotel.

Better option for food and accommodation

They need to work more on the service. The employee's were very arrogant in their reply.

Stay was OK.... But somehow I felt that this star hotel needs maintenance and refurbishing. Stay was expensive as we charged very high for an average room. Hotel needs to catch especially with the new brands coming up. I would just rate 3.

I don't know about the hotel. But their casino is not at all good. I played at their electronic roulette table, which was faulty intentionally or unintentionally. And slot machines were so less in number and also faulty. And ambience was not good. Will not advise to go to that casino.

Very old hotel, badly needs renovation. Service is at par and that's actually everywhere in Nepal as people are very kind and makes sure to treat you well

It's really awesome place to visit and stay. Best service quality and the places mesmerize with royal design make it better in architecture.

Overated for the price u pay...it still needs upgrading for 5 star standard.For me as promised my hotel pick up was not there imagine at 10.30pm...then i m given a room with tpilet thats not flushed.After changing rooms...to my disappointment...no bedroom slippers..despite cold bathroom floor....no toilet tap...tv volume at maximum was not audible....no fruit basket as promised.The door man n reception unable to help get a proper cab that knows directions....n failed to help settle dispute with driver who did not know a diner n brought us back.Surprisingly they dont hv a hotel car.....ad reception cannot reccomend restaurants nearby...say they dont know.So much for 5 star...better hotels in Thamel..a cheaper rates with all these facilities

The hotel is quite big with traditional atmosphere, staffs are polite but it's very expensive

The hotel is centrally located in kathmandu's durbar marg. Apart from the history that comes with hotel nothing exactly is great about it. The heritage rooms are at best average for a luxury hotel. The tv remote didnt work and the wifi connectivity was terrifyingly annoying. The basic stuff like a dental kit and shaving kit was missing which is the least i expected when i was paying around $150. The hotel has a casino just next door which can be an attraction for few.

Friendly staff. Very good food. Excellent location.

Everything is good Room service, AC, good food, bath bridge, wi fi, parking, very nice oret is also good. Do come once.
