near Cincinnati airport in northern KY Review

It s a long time since I was there but my memory of it is good except this: I flew on a Sunday and the opening hours at the bar were ridiculously short. I know you are on the Kentucky side of the Ohio but I didn t expect mediaeval! Has this been fixed?

Was a good experience given the covid circumstances. The airport personal were efficient, clean and made is a pleasant experience.

I only fly to a couple of the same destinations routinely but cvg is definitely the nicest airport to go through. It s always clean, has decent restaurants, cell phone lot and charging stations, easy parking and access to terminals.

Decent airport overall. Cleaner than most places. Tram was efficient and helpful. The directories need an update. Several locations still listed that no longer exist. No major delays with TSA. Friendly staff all around. Awesome displays around the terminals as well!

Anyone needing a wheelchair take heed! Saying it's grossly understaffed is an understatement.
Last week I waited at least a half hour for assistance upon arrival and even longer for my departure. and there were several more stranded passengers at our gate when I left. This has been a recurring problem by the way so this was not an isolated incident.
Their limited staff is quite nice but terribly overworked and it shows. They openly admit that they lack the personnel to effectively service all the handicapped yet the service company has done nothing about it.

If you get here at 7:45 PM or later, there is no where to eat. Plan ahead and eat outside the airport before you come. Airport is confusing for rental car returns. The security does a pretty good job and is well set up. The USO is small, but friendly.

Always clean, well decorated and great customer servuce

It's clean and very easy to fly in and out of. Delta still offers a decent flight selection with really reasonable fares.

I went here to pick my grandparents up tonight at about 11pm so 3 or so hours before posting this. The cellphone lot was inaccessible due to renovations ended up having to park in the best western parking lot and wait. After they got their it was a nightmare at pickup. Almost no one let anyone in/out. Ended up having to park at the very end of the arrivals to pick them up. Beings it was late I saw no one helping direct anything or making sure people weren't just parked. Some of the cars I know we're just sitting there with there engines off as the drivers were pretty much asleep at the wheel.

My grandma had an awful time because it took 3 phone calls to get someone to come to help her with a wheelchair for transit to baggage claim and to pickup.

It's an otherwise gorgeous airport, very nice layout. I'm rating 4 stars primarily due to my short experience happening at late hour and this being my first experience at this airport.

I received my baggage finally with over 1 hour waiting.
And it was broken..terrible!!

Airport has improved immensely from years past. The addition of Allegiant and Frontier is huge. I used to use Dayton for all air travel but now it CVG.

I was quite amazed I left paperwork in my $100 earbuds on the hood of my car. On Wednesday came back on Monday the following week and they're still there. I am flat out amazed. Such great people.

Flight got cancelled one night but I enjoy this airport because it is easy to navigate! I also like their cargo planes like Kalitta DHL and Amazon Prime

Only 1 train in service . Try to get out parking garage what a trip employee on foot tell where to go, all messed up, finally got out. On way home, what a hassel!

I have a great respect for this airport! The parking was extremely easy, even for a busy day. The whole post flight inspections and procedures all were really fast. The TSA folks were friendly and very helpful. Further, while you sit at your terminal and await your flight there are many and varied shops and eateries that you can both refresh your self and wile away the time. This is just an an awesome airport! As Always, Enjoy!

Worst airport with the worst customer service! It s 7:15 on a Sunday and every single restaurant has run out of food!!!! This is absolutely absurd. Do better cinci, do better.

Late flights seem to always get held up waiting for agents to park the plane and then luggage takes forever! Nothing worse than a long day of travel only to then be stuck for another hour waiting to leave the airport. This happens so often I feel I need to comment.

This is a clean airport with hard-working staff, polite attendants and servers. There are several shops and a variety of dining option . The staff does a great job of keeping you informed in a pleasant manner. McDonald's ran out of ice cream unusually early, but it was made up by a very polite cashier at one of the restaurants

The trip to the airport was amazing the cut through Lockland is almost done

I thought Memphis International Airport was slow about baggage claim. I ve been waiting an 45 mins for luggage to load! This is ridiculous!

Out of all the different airport I go in and out of this have been one of the easiest ones to deal with. Baggage claim is a little bit of a distance but very easy to get to by train or moving walkways or just walking it. Then central food courts and very taken care of airport

It was awesome even with the covid -19 still going on , there was still some normalcy.

I was just picking up my son from a business trip. At 8:45pm on a Friday evening traffic was light. Parking in the Cell Phone lol was minimal.

Intended to see all of the displays without a plane ticket. Found out most of the displays and restuarants are past security, so that was a no go. The area I was allowed in was clean and open.

Wow, shell of its old self. But, lots of positive changes on the way.

Upon retrieving my bag from the carousel I noticed it was over halfway unzipped. My laptop and wallet had been stolen. I alerted airport police and my flight agency right away. My bag was supposed to be carry on but the plane ran out of overhead bin space. Otherwise I would have never placed my valuable inside and allowed my bag to be "gate" checked. I was told I would be contacted today regarding this matter and have received no call. Airport police would not file a police report and tried to say my belongings were taken at my city of origin. I feel certain a Cincinnati airport employee stole my items....my bag was unzipped coming off the belt, I doubt it made it the whole flight in that condition without someone noticing. I am extremely nervous to fly home through this airport in a few days and after that I will never fly through here again. I will also be doing everything possible to pursue this matter legally.

Easy navigation and plenty of staff to help. Lots of parking and clearly marked signs for directions. Easy access to the highway and it was hassle free and not to crowded

CVG has definitely gotten better over the years.

While it's not a "large" airport, it does flow quite well considering the amount of traffic it has.

Plenty of food and drink options along with places to buy overpriced items and snacks.

Parking can be a bit of a hassle with the construction going on, but all considered it's still pretty smooth.

3.5 rating. Expensive fares. Nice. clean. Modern. Wait is longer for bags at claim area than any similar sized airport I've been in. Traffic, parking, pickup, drop off are easy. Traffic signage at airport is confusing -- "drop off" is not for drop off.

I have been to eat at 3 different restaurants at cvg and all times had an awful experience with the staff. You wait a while for service and one time I was not looked at or helped at all when waiting for a table.

This is my home airport so I might biased or something but I love CVG. The staff is helpful and nice, there are a good selection of shops, you can get a bite from a Cincy favorite without leaving the airport, the little metro train system has always been helpful for me, the security lines have never been bad for me, and you can go to a lot of different places via CVG. Although it may be hard for someone not from the tri-state to get used to it, I like it.

Starting to feel old and out of touch. The airport wifi is horrendous, the free and premium.

TSA closes at 9pm yet that information isn't posted anywhere. Employees are unhelpful

Great airport and loving the new Clear service with TSA.

Several charging stations, great selection of restaurants beyond the TSA lines at the gate area, everyone we encountered was friendly, and the TSA lines moved very quickly.

Fun staff we landed at the airport and managers and staff greeted for there 70 birthday party... Chilli dog and cake.... It was fun atmosphere.....

Wasn't here long enough to give a review other than after 10 everything is closed up.

The Airport has had its ups and downs and recently it has been on an up swing.

Accommodations are not too far away if you need to stay overnight. If you have a layover the food and stands or shops are fare prices not like other airports I have been too recently.

Recommend trying the Gold Star Chili since your in Cincinnati and that's what we are known for is our Chili Spaghetti ;)....

Quite empty nowadays, security is a breeze and the airport is always clean and easy to navigate. A few restaurant options but some are closed and weird days/times.

That airport owns the CVG Valupark. The airport had their subcontractors operatormy tow my car without my permission so that they could repave while I was overseas for two weeks. The attitude of their subcontracted operator was if you don't like it tough. I was not informed of potential towing our repaving when I entered the lot. So as a result I will never use their parking again and I will always view this airport and their subcontractors with great trepidation. If you have a chance to use another airport, use the other airport I will.

All the construction work should have been completed by now. They have taken way to long.

Anyone who gives this airport four stars or above has not been anywhere worth going. Many of the restaurants were closed, despite the website saying otherwise. No visual style, many shuttered moving pathways, and a near pointless shuttle between the concourse. I'm sure there are other regional airports that have more to offer than CVG (ones like Norfolk and St. Pete come to mind), but this place is bare bones at best.

the plane was a little tight but the ride was smooth anyway. But one of the staff was very rude to me, ruining the whole trip for me

30 minutes to pick up bags rude traffic directors especially the 2 T one

I lost my phone at the Frontier gate. I knew exactly where I left it once I got on the plane and it was too late. As soon as I got off I filed a report with frontier and the airport itself. No one would help me find it. Very hard to reach someone and when you do they obviously dont care at all to help. I couldnt go back to the gate to look for myself. I went to the police station to get some information and I couldn't even talk to anyone there. Just an intercom on the wall. Just very disappointing when I needed some help. My phone still pings to be at the airport to....

Fast...5 minutes thru TSA, 40 minutes thru Starbucks!?!
