Just the pharmacy alone is incredible. The number of products is endless and their knowledge is unparalleled. They are always helpful and more than willing to custom make products specific to your needs. I can't say enough about how much they have helped me. Wonderful people and wonderful place!

I was extremely dissapointed in these people. I came in to see if they could help me with my back. I have four bulging discs, sciatica, scoliosis, arthritis in my spine, etc. I had made the doc appointment only upon recommendation from my doctor who had talked to them and reffered me. They assured her and me that my insurance, OHP Healthshare at the time, would cover the services. I waited over a half an hour to be seen because they were running late on their appointments. Shortly after they looked me over they were interrupted by someone from another department who said my insurance wouldn't allow me to be seen any more times and that that would prevent them from continuing services. I was shocked! Why didn't they tell me this before I wasted all of that time and got out of bed and came there in pain to see them?! Horrible!

For the safety of current and potential ND student...

For the safety of current and potential ND students, I need to do what I can here. Christine Girard, the new president of nunm, was the chief medical officer at SCNM while I was a ND student there from 2008-2010, and she was also the top person in my academic dismissal appeal in 2011 who stopped my progression at the school after 2.5 years of attendance and over $100,000 of student loan debt, years of sacrifice and serious work in med school with no return on investment. At the time, a ND professor was arrested for child molestation (Don Underwood), my research mate had died in a tragic car fire (Dan Leek), and there was a serious round of cheating in the school, which I did not participate in. When I sat in her office with only a few minutes before she made a choice about my ND career, I'd found out she had done no research on my case prior to coming into her office and had no intention of pursuing any realistic solution before rejecting my appeal. A few days later, I was taking basic science boards. She had a huge effect on my life in a negative way when the truth pointed to her making a better and more integrity oriented choice based on facts, which she did not do even after I gave pages of research, writing, and solutions in my appeal. They weren't read. Just like that, the 2.5 years of grueling work and sacrifice were down the drain. She didn't make a choice based on facts, but on making another woman less than her and hurting another woman's career. I'd later found out that MD professor who had "failed" me in my class (causing the dismissal) had her licensed revoked in TX years prior in 2006 (Pam Martin Howell) and was knowingly practicing medicine without a license, falsifying student grades, and had her own MD license removed due to endangering the public and failing a test herself. The school knew about it and so did Christine. I didn't know about it until 5 years after the dismissal, and when I approached her and Dr. Mittman (president of SCNM) by formal letter, neither one would revisit the case. I have since graduated with 3 masters degrees from high level programs/schools in medical related topics/research with honors and I am as close as I can be to helping people in the area of chronic inflammation. She ignored it when I told her I was chosen for the Best of Naturopathic Medicine honorarium for inflammation research at the time of my dismissal appeal. I'd had a tutor and I had done good at SCNM. I've never really strayed course and had to steer around what Christine choose, which affected my life, career, and family. Of course, I could not forget it even if forgiveness is part of the story. Now is the time for getting this right. Christine also made similar decisions about other students. She has still made no effort to correct the mistake, even though she knew that information was prevented from entering my appeal to show competence. Until Christine makes a solid effort to correct and help overturn my ND dismissal at SCNM, I cannot be silent while she could be responsible for this happening to someone else at nunm. I cannot. She has affected a number of previous ND students, many who were and are talented, and while she is now in the post of president of another ND school, I do expect her to use power in a non-abusive and positive way. It's time to correct what was wrong. She put other women and ND students at risk and investments were affected. I love seeing women succeed, but she received this position without making amends or corrections for previous mistakes that harmed other women. I hope this review will encourage her to reach out to me personally and discuss options for moving forward and getting this resolved. I also hope to share a better review once it is resolved. In the meantime, I am very aware of how Christine affected my financial, academic, and life investment in a negative way while making no effort to change that course (even with evidence to encourage her to do so), and I cannot leave that unnoticed here while this school is under her leadership.

My experience here was very positive. I came in for help figuring out the source of my horrific eczema. I had never been to a nuturopath before, so I was a little unsure. At NCNM they have students work with you as a patient and then the doctor makes the final calls. The students are knowledgeable and professional. They helped me finally pin point the dietary source causing my problem, and that has been a life changing thing for me. They are quite inexpensive too.

My experience is a bittersweet experience. The Doctors and Interns were excellant but the billing department caused me so much stress that I decided to find healthcare elsewhere. Their billing dept. staff either need more training or a desire to do a better job.

The business end of NUNM clinic is very lacking, very unprofessional. They offer a discount if you can pay your bill same day. I tried to do so but the people at the front desk didn't know how much it would be. I gave them time to figure it out while I waited for prescription. I came back and they still had no clue how to bill me. They said I should receive a bill in the mail. I had issues with the bill and spoke with someone in the billing office. They said they would have to talk to their boss and get back to me and never did. I called weeks later and spoke with the billing manager Gina. She said that there were notes on my account that I left without paying... of course I did I tried my hardest to pay that day. I brought up my grievances with Gina about my billing. She said she would give me a call back after speaking with the proper people. She assured me up and down that she would call me back it's been 2 weeks.

I came to NCNM to see if Natural medicine could help with high level chronic headaches and neck pain. At first, it seemed promising; they tried all sorts of concoctions to help reduce my pain levels. The staff is very nice and very professional. 6 months into this process and after no success I had to stop them and ask how long it was going to take before I saw some relief, the answer was we don t know , it could take many, many more months or another week. They try something for a while, see if it works or not, then try something else until they find something that works. I m sure for standard illnesses or other minor issues concerning health they are great at, but not chronic pain. They were clearly at a loss as to what to do and if I didn t stop them they would of kept pumping me full of natural medicines and filling my cabinets with waste for a long time. As bad as narcotics are for your body, they are far more effective at reducing pain than anything the natural side of medicine can provide at this time.

Great school with good intentions, but the Chinese medicine program is the most expensive in the whole country, and not worth the high cost of education (as of 2016-2019). If you're considering becoming a Licensed Acupuncturist, It's better to go to a cheap school, get your license, and then spend money on CEU's as you clarify your clinical goals through real-life experience.

School administration is horrible, but most places suffer this problem.

Nice student clinic. Both Naturopathic and Chinese medicine services with caring students.

Gorgeous little herbal garden.
Fun events and opportunities around school, such as the Herb Club, and rotating herbal and other conferences.

I was approached by a NUNM staff member about doing a first time visit to try their group acupuncture offering. Having never tried non-traditional medicine before I decided to give it a go! The staff person said my first visit would be free. A month later I receive a bill in the mail for this "free" first session. Here's to hoping their billing office can help sort this out.

IF THERE WERE A 6 or 7 STAR CHOICE, I WOULD HAVE MADE IT! BUT INSTEAD I WILL JUST SHOUT OUT HOW AMAZING THE PEOPLE ARE AT NUNM! I have used their services over the years and every time everyone from the intake reps to the students on up to the doctors have been the best. Courteous, kind, patient, empathetic, intelligent, gentle and thoughtful are just some of the adjectives that come to mind when describing these wonderful people. And, yes, the medical care one receives there is at a high level as well. Dr Trump (used by permission) and her winter/spring 2019 team of students were just off the charts. With the issues I had they were extremely patient and listened so very empathetically. I am blessed to have been (and continue) to be in their care.

Let me start with this: I RARELY write reviews, especially negative ones; and what NCNM does, is amazing. Especially the SIBO clinic.

They're customer service however, is lacking. The ladies at the front desk, seem annoyed- and the billing department doesn't seem know what's going on. I was told I needed to pay out of pocket for my services (they had me write my credit card number on a piece of paper for separate billing of each lab- which I was a little uncomfortable with), and they would reimburse me whatever my insurance paid to them. I was also charged a $15 copay for dropping off my SIBO test, which they billed my insurance as an office visit....I'm not really sure why, because I was never in a patient room, or saw a nurse/physician. This all happened back in July, which I received the EOB's from my insurance for them just a few weeks later. I have yet to see my reimbursement. I have called THREE times in the last month, during business hours- each time getting their billing department's voicemail. The recording says to leave your name (I spelled mine as well), birthdate, and phone number- I did each of these. The recording also states that your call will be returned within one business day. My phone calls, have yet to be returned.

The Doctors and medical students at the clinic are fantastic. I see both the Naturopaths and the Chinese Medicine doctors... together I have greatly improved my health and the way I see medicine. Their "pharmacy" (Medicinary) is wonderful.. they have everything you can think of.

This "College" pumps out garbage that has been shown in experiment to not work, or at the very best not shown to be effective.

Furthermore, this is not "affordable treatment" because in order for something to be considered "treatment" it actually has to work, which it doesn't. Don't waste your money here, and avoid like the plague anyone who has a credential from this institution.

Basically, this place treats magic like it's real or something.

I've been here on multiple occasions (and for multiple issues). I usually book appointments based on my schedule so I rarely see the same physician twice, but I've had excellent treatment every time! The doctors and students are all very knowledgeable, kind and accommodating. Definitely recommended!

Good treatment but very inept admin staff. First they told me I had an outstanding bill to pay before I could schedule. I called billing and they said I had NO BALANCE. Then I called and scheduled my IV appointment and then they cancelled by voicemail and said I needed a new consult. So it will now be at least 3 weeks before I could get treatment.

I've been a patient at NCNM for a number of years and seen different practitioners for a variety of things, chiefly stress and TMJ. I can not speak more highly of their practitioners. The professors at the college also work in the clinic, and having access to that level of practitioner for the prices at the clinic is amazing. Student shifts have also been highly valuable. The price for one, is affordable, and not only are the students great but they are always overseen by one of the professors at the school.
