Great zoo, super fun for the kids! Only issue is the price, I feel it s a bit much for all that is offered. If you live in the area than it absolutely makes sense to get a membership if you go more than once per year.

The penguin exhibit is a little depressing buuuut the attached museums, observatory, cafes... Delightful!

Its an amazing zoo its very accessible for all. It was a great experience with plenty of things to do like the planetarium and the aquarium. Can easily spend a day here if you love animals and there's a lot to see

Great zoo, we spent about 3 hours here, saw almost all of it (except for the reptiles) and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Not only for families . Highly recommend for all

It is very special that you can go to the zoo with the children in the middle of Amsterdam in a busy city. Enough animals that you can see, animals have enough living space ....

The best zoo I have ever been too! The enclosures are all big and laid out beautifully, we spent a long time here and could of spent a lot more. I would definitely recommend visiting here!

This ia the nicest zoo ive ever been to! Much more like a big beatiful park which has animals rather than a just your average zoo, so so much to see and do but because its so big it doesnt feel busy. We went on a sunday afternoon and actually felt very quiet and chilled! Don't miss the aquarium, you could easily walk past and miss it so careful not to... its definately worth going in!

Fun place to hang out and spend hours in, in Amsterdam! Had a lot of fun discovering this big place!

Some animals seemed sad, rather thin, especially for the large animals which sometimes had enclosures too small for our taste. But overall we were not disappointed. But I would not say it is an exceptional place.

If you go to Amsterdam with your family, the zoo artist is a mandatory stop, there are animals from many parts of the world. Very beautifull

Today our annual outing Artis. Now neatly reserved time which is on the site that it is mandatory. Is there a huge line! We just have to connect, we don't pay attention to time. Worst of all, there are tourists behind us who could just buy a ticket without a reservation and didn't even have to queue to get in !!!!! They could enter through the cash register. And were therefore at least 15 minutes earlier. I also do not always find the walking directions clear in the park, so that everyone is mixed up. There was even an Artis employee who stood very unfriendly in front of lions so that children could not see them. After saying something about it, she called very loudly 1.5 meters away. She wanted to look at the lion with a camera. Could not if it was less busy. It remains a nice zoo, but not for us during corona times

Have been today and did not come in with our e tickets! Is not a validity period but were simply refused. Strange thing, you can leave again and you will not enter. Do not buy a ticket! Lost money and no access.

Very nice zoo that is also worth it because of the park-like with nice places to eat your sandwich during your lunch.

Classic zoo in a beautiful panel. Bad thing is that the living areas for a lot of wild animals are too small.

It is a fantastic zoo with lots of animals to see in my haste the elephants and their giraffes are the best ones on show. I also have a reptile as well we can see all different snakes and lizards and Iguanas which is very cool apart from the fact I don't like snakes :-) we went early in the morning about 9:30 as the weather was extremely hot and we wanted to see all the animals before they got too hot it wasn't very busy but two walls meet day it's got busy with school kids on school trips having a good time. We booked our tickets through their official website as it was cheaper it was easy to do we just showed our phone to the lady on the gate who scanned our tickets

Went here today and was really impressed firstly massive Zoo. I haven't been to a Zoo since I was little but this one was pretty huge and had pretty much most animals you could think off. As we walked in some nice people gave us some free tickets which was brilliant but I would say the ticket price is worth it and the whole day was great. The only negative I had was the restaurant was pretty expensive and food was standard at best.

So many options to learn new things and see the animals and educational displays. They also do themed events which are so much fun.

Nice zoo but some places I could find difficult and they only make fun for the small children the older children can get bored

Zoo in the midd of Amsterdam, classic building and nice collection of plants and animals.

Very nice and beautiful zoo! Some animals not yet seen in other parks! Due to corona many indoor sections are one way which is annoying. Road in the park difficult to follow.

Still a great visist, the place gets new stuff every year, lots of animals, inside and outside, bring your own food, as it can get pricey.

Enjoyed myself immensely. The Elephants danced for us! The seals were also wonderful, as well as the apes, lions, black panther, aquarium, pelicans and flamingos. A great way to spend a day.

My mind was blown. It's a historic zoo in a beautiful historic section of town. It may seem small but it's jam packed with sooo much stuff to do. So many animals are just out in the open too. This place was incredible.

Probably print off your own map before coming, though. They charge 2 euro for a map on site.

When renovating, it is always messy. Soon the country house for the elephants and other beautiful animals will be ready. I look forward.

Superb Zoo, such an atmosphere of rest and quiet. They are still working on changing the old enclosures to new bigger and less crowded ones, and the result is worth a visit!

Although the tickets are quite pricey, the park is very well maintained. There are many people present and despite the specific time at which a ticket is bought, the times are not strictly observed. In that respect really another point for improvement.

An amazing place to see all of David Attembouroghs glorious creatures. Particular highlights were the elusive MUURCAT. Amazing aquarium. Some animals seemed a little bit sad but more were absolutely loving it.

Perfect for a day of running and playing for the kids and of course looking at all the animals they normally only read about in books

Nice zoo in the center of a beautiful city. Fortunately, more and more accommodations are being adapted to more modern standards. Only the stay of the lions may be dealt with. Great interactive show in the planetarium!

Great, plenty of animals, many have lots of freedom and can walk beside you on the pathways. Helpful staff. Walking around with butterflies was amazing. A nice aquarium. Overall really good.

Was very nice. Clear and well designed. There is also a lot for children, such as a playground and a digging box. Definitely worth a visit

With 4 kids under 7, i'm a regular here. If you plan to go more than 2 times a year: take a membership! My favs: sea lions, penguins, all baby animals. Because it's an old zoo in the center, some cages are limited in space. The zoo does keep improving within the space they have.

Awesome zoo and tons of animals in not an extremely large area. The layout of the habitats was unique and it is very worth going to!!

Great zoo, plenty for adults and kids to do. Giraffes and elephants a highlight. Managed to catch several feeding time displays and it was awesome.

Pathetic and lazy animals .... too many evolution ideas which makes it no longer really a place accessible to everyone on the ground of faith.
