Inability of clinic's staff to properly manage pat...

Inability of clinic's staff to properly manage patient's records led to very expensive (health- and money-wise) "mishaps" in my case. If one has a serious health conditions I would strongly advise to seek for medical help somewhere else. Also, if English is a second language for a patient good luck getting a real interpreter. The best one can count on is phone interpreter which is cheapest but also worst type of interpretation for medical appointments. But they don't care.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Dr.s are knowledgeable, patient driven and willing to explore proven alternative/natural treatments. LGBTQ friendly. Onsite dentist and pharmacy. You do not have to be Native to been seen here.

On the medical side, if you need a diagnosis, this really isn't the place to go ... the docs are great as far as i know, but their support staff have a 66% [2 of 3] failure rate with scheduling and insurance authorizations in my case. There seems great confusion in the communications between this and the organizations that actually do their testing and imaging.
If you suspect a serious problem, and need a confident, fast diagnosis, GO ELSEWHERE!

I really appreciate everyone that works for Native Project. They not only serve their community with events to promote healthcare, they will also give attendees free screenings for things like diabetes and HIV, that includes gift cards for those attending and receiving services. Just recently They had a hair cutting professional to provide haircuts, which I missed because of being so sick. They also promote and have mental health available, and an on-site pharmacy makes them a kinda one stop place to meet all your needs. Everybody there has been great since my return. I am glad to be back to the place that treats the whole person.

I found the nurses and most of the office staff to be very nice and easy to work with. The doctor i saw however was not. She made assumptions, wrote false records about me, and was extremely judgemental. On top of this i went undiagnosed for years due to this physician apparently not thinking my symptoms were real. I found this out when i requested my medical records from them. I had trusted her, as we are suppose to trust our physicians, and than i learned the hard way that you cannot trust even doctors to be moral. What was even worse is when i requested my records and recieved them in the mail 2 weeks later, another patients (male) records were attached to mine. This is a major HIPPA violation. It had everything about this patient on them...address, name, diagnoses, medications, etc...I reported this to their staff but i highly doubt they reported it to this poor other patient or the state like they are suppose to.

I really hate it when they tell you be in at 1230pm to do paperwork work, and they are at lunch with the doors locked. Really you are wasting my time.... I have to schedule time off from work. Where is it ok for you to waste me time maybe I should charge you.

I have encountered super nice staff here. The Dr.s and Nurses and medical staff are very professional, polite and helpful. On the other side, the counselors and staff are very friendly, helpful and awesome! I really like this place. :

Actual grade is -3.

Actual grade is -3.
Let me be clear, Brookbank, Missy, Dr. McCarthy & Mowangi are AMAZING.
However, the allowed business practices here look like my disabled client being bullied out of the best care team she has ever had for nothing that is her fault.
The people who aren't mentioned above show complete disregard for her well being and disabilities.
They have canceled and rescheduled on her without letting her know. Allowed staff to belittle her that didn't even know her story.
And refuse to work with her power of attorney to do any better at all.
If you've got thick skin, go see the people mentioned above.
If you are high needs, and don't have the energy to help them appropriately do their jobs? Go literally anywhere else.

As a new member in the community from out of state the front desk services are entirely unprofessional. Example (1): calling you ten minutes before they close for a reminder of an appoint. Example (2): the audacity to tell a patient who would like a copy of results to sign over more paperwork that was not provided on first visit to then state 14 days later to recieve. Example (3): for a client to provide a survey of poor services to then be told that sevices no longer provided. It is unfortunate that this community clinic will take actions like this. The only good was the actual doctor who was seen. Poor service. If u have pride in self and expect proper service I would not attend this clinic.

Worst place ever!! There are a couple of doctors and nurses here that are decent but overall the staff are a bunch of bullies who think way to highly of themselves. They will wait way too long to even refer you to a place that will be badly needed. They will bill your insurance even if you wasn't seen that day. All around horrendous place to try to get help at.

Even the waiting area here is wonderful. The staff are so respectful and thoughtful. I have noticed that the doctors here are more intelligent than any other office I've been to in the U.S., which sadly is over 20 different places. We've been going to Native Health since 2016 and I haven't had any problems with them. They are helping me get my daughter's medical conditions under control, which gives me great peace of mind.

The office staff are extremely professional, compassionate, adaptable and thorough. They are knowledgeable and haven't left me confused with insurance or appointments. Such a great experience.

With me and my family being a big Native American crew and having been to other Native American Centers I can say this one is top notch with great facilities and programs.
From the medical center to welfare programs, to food bank, to some of the best kid programs around. The staff are always fantastic and always willing to go the extra miles to make sure your needs or services are done and to your liking.

Thank you NATIVE Project! You all are an oasis in the otherwise dismal wasteland of our healthcare system. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled acrossed your services where I am always treated with courtesy and dignity. You do not have to have native blood flowing through your veins to be enrolled as a patient here. When they say they do not discriminate they mean it, and hospitality is their watch word. As your primary healthcare provider they can also take care of your dental, mental health, and pharmaceutical needs all under one roof. Five stars are too few.
