I attended the Will Downing concert. The venue was fantastic, the way that it's designed, there are no bad seats in the house. I loved it!! I which they would have more concerts there.

Dynamic history lessons detailing Ohio & the Ohio River's importance as many points of demarcation in our country...
Great museum. Very informative and visually stimulating. Well organized. Wish the gift shop was up and running!
Can't-miss site to visit in Cincinnati. Uplifting and inspiring, not depressing.
Enjoyed the very informative exhibits including the history of salvery in North America as well as salvery that still exists in the world today. Very sad history. Wished there would have been information on the quilt codes used along the Underground Railroad.
Excellent experience to visit the Cincinnati Freedom Center. The history of Slavery past and present are displayed here. The Underground Railroad was a real sad part of history. Must see and learn about the slave trade that affected our country. The historical evidence helps us to learn about the path that led us to today. The African Americans who have overcome this long history of slavery are true survivors. It is inspirational. The present day stories are shockingly common. Interesting Rosa Parks exhibit. Wonderful theater has a short documentary. Wonderful paintings are displayed.
Amazing place to learn history and how slavery worked in the part amongst many other things. Photo friendly museum.
Lots of history and learning, went with our school class
What a wonderful museum! So much information to read. I wish spent more time. Give yourself 2 to 4 hours to walk around to appreciate the reading and short films. Some things were not working/broken but I guess that happens. I love the interactive exhibits.
This is a beautiful museum and should be on everyone's list to visit.
The BEST museum in Cincinnati, a MUST SEE tourist spot!
Very nice museum. It was an emotional visit, highly recommend.
The museum is very eye opening. It documents slavery, in the past and the present. I would reccoemnd to anyone visiting or living in the area.
Amazing history with friendly staff and amazing experiences.
Had several wonderful experience learning about the history. I need several more trips to absorb everything.
Visiting the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center was a somber but important reminder of the legacy of slavery and the ongoing fight for freedom and equality in this country. Everyone should be forced to learn these lessons to help inform them of these facts.
Similar to civil Rights museums in Memphis, Birmingham and other place. Mostly information presented in an interesting fashion and less artifacts etc. Might be boring for young children
Wonderful experience. Thoughtful exhibits! A must-have in Cincinnati.
Very good musuem full of good history and information. Slightly expensive for families
Beautiful architecture and moving exhibits. It was quite an experience.
I wish I could give this a better review because I really loved the content of the museum and what it repesents however every docent speaking area seemed to be set up in a space that was either a foyer, close to a wide entry or just in the atrium itself. I found it very difficult to hear what was being said. I really enjoyed learning about John Parker and the significance of the Ohio River in the underground railroad. The museum is beautiful and well done. I also felt like the modern day slavery exhibit and gift store missed the mark but overall it is still worth a visit and I would go again.
If you have the chance to visit please do so. What a great learning experience for my children and myself. The. place is filled with wonderful artifacts and important history.
This place is fantastic. 2 hours was not even enough to go through one floor. Great exhibits!
The Center was very nice. I wish there was a mock underground railroad and house. A guided tour will be more beneficial. Also, would have loved the DNA ancestry but it only on certain days. Nicely done
Too much to take on if you only have a couple of hours
Great for learning, education that's you cant learn in the community
Top-notch museum! You need 3-4 hours to see it all. Lots to read & see.
The history is amazing. No matter how many times I visit, I never leave not having learned something new.
Wow history within and beautiful area surrounding for a great outing
As a first time visitor I've learned so much. I recommend everyone go at least once in their lives and it should be a field trip for every school. The kids of today have no clue about what it took to actually live free.
The exhibit on slavery in the modern world was especially powerful and eye opening.
I had a good experience here. I'd like to see some African Art exhibits.
A necessary museum of our past. Staff was wonderful. I suggest not having a near deaf tour guide take questions during field trips with children, although it was entertaining to this parent chaperone.
Very interesting place. If you plan on reading everything, plan on spending 3 to 4 hours. You actually start on 3rd floor and then down to 2nd floor.
This place is AMAZING! You could spend days there exploring all it has to offer.
Every child in America should visit this place especially African American take your time to walk through it and to sit and listen to the stories
Love the staff . Love the architecture . And absolutely love the history . Highly recommend .
A lot of history there a great learning experience. Everyone should take their kids.
Its very cool it will bring tears to your eyes if your an empathic person.
It was an enlightening and emotional experience! The human trafficking section was a good exhibit to bring slavery current.
All I can say is AMAZING! You will learn alot and if you can try to catch a gallery talk. Those are awesome!
lots of information. plan on 3 to 4 hours, if you are a reader of everything.
This is a wonderful place with a powerful message that is so timely in today's political environment. Warning us against the rascism of the past and unfortunately of the present. Hope, dignity and equality for all is what the Freedom Center aspires each of us to become.
Educational and Wonderful. All children should be taught these Truths
Great museum and visit the family search library on the 4th.
Very educational. Highly recommend visiting this museum.
Rosa Parks experience is worth the little extra money.
Very moving. Hard to keep composure as you read the stories and the methods of subjugation.
Awesome place with tons of info. There for three hours and didn't see everything
Nice Museum, wish it was organized better. Specifically, wish it was organized chronologically, seemed there was a lot repetition.
Very empowering museum to see if you happen to be in Cincinnati ! You will leave questioning a lot of the actions of the world ! So if you want a great museum to see check out this one
This museum is very educational whether you've studied about slavery in school or not, there is more you can learn at the freedom center.
Overall negative messages. Went twice to give it a chance but both times the exhibits were always stuck in the past. Sad really. It could be a real uniter but it's a divider stoking anger one way and shame another.
When built it was l think $80 million and was supposed to support itself but it has not been able to. They have tried different leadership boards. They merged it, in some way, with our natural history museum but it is "supposed" to still fund itself.
I believe any group that focuses on anger and shame is not really welcome by most folks in all categories. They could have done so much more for the community with the original $80 mill and all that has been spent since.
The tour guide was great. Very informative. There is so much history here. I get chills thinking about slavery. It sickens me to know this is how people use to be and still are in some places. The video they played for us gave me chills. They played it in a room that was designed to make you feel like you are really in the moment.
Very informative, a great place to learn about the struggles of African American people.
The guides were great, I loved how the scenery was put together.
We visited yesterday and in 3 hours only saw 1/4 th of the exhibits. Will definitely go back. Anyone with an interest in American History should go to this museum.
It was a very enlightening well informed experience. I will definitely recommend it to my family and friends. And anyone else.
I want to go back . Would you have had been a human rights activist ? My God , my Lord , let me be today .
This was amazing, tons of reading though! I'd love to see it again!
