Really enjoyed our visit to this museum. The exhibits we're very informative and kept us engaged. My only complaint was that many of the video monitors didn't seem to be working. So, if you visit, give them a little extra donation to help them keep up with maintenance of the exhibits.

What a beautiful experience for my children and I. The past of our ancestors was not pretty, nevertheless we have risen. To see the dialogue so beautifully displayed is an honor to witness. Not to mention the wonderful view of the Banks. Very well done.

It had pictures of people on the Hall walls by the elevator that are "Freedom Fighters", but the TRUTH IS a few of those famous people have been known to show nothing but a great disregard and disdain for the causes that affect the African American communities... You'll see if you ever get a chance to go. So I got a refund, because George Bush & some of the other "freedom fighters" posted on the wall too NEVER had any regards for the "plight" of African Americans!

It was powerful and well laid out. I was definately impacted, especially be the slave house. Could have more personal stories from runaway slaves, a little "reading heavy" with lots of facts.

Was an amazing place to go. The slave pen was a heartbreaking piece of history I knew nothing of. Actually I learned a lot from going and spent about 3 hours there! See the movies & listen to any talks. It s amazing!

A terrific place for learning about the history of slavery and underground railroad. We spent 6 hours there and didnt get to read everything. Make sure you plan ahead for the Rosa Parks exhibit. It's actually a 20 minute 3d set up for 2 that was sold out ahead of time on us.

Excellent experience to visit the Cincinnati Freedom Center. The history of Slavery past and present are displayed here. The Underground Railroad was a real sad part of history. Must see and learn about the slave trade that affected our country. The historical evidence helps us to learn about the path that led us to today. The African Americans who have overcome this long history of slavery are true survivors. It is inspirational. The present day stories are shockingly common. Interesting Rosa Parks exhibit. Wonderful theater has a short documentary. Wonderful paintings are displayed.

I will definitely have to come back! I enjoyed myself. I wasn't able to see everything because of the amount of time. The museum is beautiful! The exhibits were amazing. I learned so much. I can't wait to go back again.

Very nice, was only able to stay for an hour, but that 1 hour was very impactful, planning on a revisit to see the rest of the Underground. Staff was great, plan on doing a lot of reading.....

We toured this facility as part of a large group and I was very impressed with the quality of the exhibits, as well as the helpfulness of the staff. Bringing a few thousand teenagers through must have been a trying experience for the staff, but they handled it very well and our kids (and adults) enjoyed the experience very much.

So much history in this museum. Learning about slavery since the arrival of Africans on the American continent, to the slavery of modern times, is very rewarding. My two hours passed quickly. We can never know too much about history, everything we live today is the result of the past. To add to your itinerary if you are visiting Cincinnati.

Staff was very detached. Every worker I met was on there cellphones texting. No direction. For what they have it's OK but I believe it can be so much better. Beautiful building with massive space not enough exhibit. It seems like a waste because it had much potential but clearly not enough support for the history or vision.

Definitely worth it! I was moved to tears, educated and inspired.
A nice mix of art and history with exhibits spaced.enough that the visitors aren't on top of each other. There are interactive displays and short movie clips.
The staff there is very helpful.

Great museum bringing your attention the history of slavery in the US (and world), both in the past and present. This was not merely a problem that came and went, but persists in many countries in the form of child slavery, sex trafficking, and more. Very eye-opening and I hope you create time to visit if you are in the area.

Very beautiful and emotional experience. I had been once several years ago but theandela exhibit and the modern day slavery were awe inspiring.

There's also a great view of The Banks from the third level.

The National Underground Railroad Museum is a wonderful place to go if you want to learn more about the times years ago. I want there with a few of friends and family, and we all learned a lot and it was a great pleasure being there.

The size of the exhibition room is big, but there is not much to see.
Especially, I had a lot of exhibitions with photos attached, so I read my English and my head was sore so I just watched the photos.
Admission was $ 60 for 4 people and $ 6 for parking.

Wonderful time reading about the past of where we came from. A real eye opener. Some items displayed were hard to see/read. A typed disruption of those items would be nice. Disappointed that some of the exhibits were either not working or they were broken. This is not to discourage anyone from going. I highly recommend everyone to go. These minor items can easily be fixed. Go and enjoy.

Nice museum tackling a tough subject. Rosa Parks experience is worth the little extra money. Puts you in her seat as being her. Offers names of organizations who help stop current day human trafficking.

Gives an impression of a poor representation of Black History. Lacked reality. The rundown display in Baltimore's National Great Blacks In Wax Museum was more realistic and gave a far better representation of what Blacks went through in our fight for freedom.

It was a neat visit. There is a lot of information to see! Im unfamiliar with the area, so finding the closest parking garage was challenging at first. But once i found it, the evevator lets you off near the entrance. So it was a good experience!

The museum was wonderful the guest shop was close, but it was nice to see a lot of information. The only thing I would like to see is up to date information and new history information.

Was smaller than I expected. We had trouble navigating around other guests and their tour guides as many exibits are somewhat tight. We did however, tag along behind one group we got stuck behind with a wonderful tour guide who was incredibly knowledgeable. So I would recommend hiring a private tour. I wish I knew her name, she seems like the best! A shorter woman with short & voluminous black hair. The artifacts they did have were very interesting. They posted that they had a piece of the Berlin Wall but we couldn't find it!
The modern-day slavery exhibit was very loving and well-designed. Overall a good way to spend a couple hours!

This was a great experience for me and my mom. We live in Columbus and this was her first time seeing the museum. My mom is in her 60 s and lived through the civil rights movement. It was a great bonding experience for her to see the exhibits and for her to share her stories.
