International Airport Agadir "Al Massira" is a small and austere airport with waiting areas, some shops and snack restaurants. Airplanes cannot access the trunk, one can walk to and from the plane, getting in and out is faster because the front and rear doors can be used. On arrival and on departure one has to fill in identical forms and pass a large number of passport and customs checkpoints which, among other things, take a long time due to slow computer systems and cause long queues.

Full abberation queue too long waiting at police control normally domestic flights go through rapid control I do not understand why passports and foreign residents go to the same counter and it says airport classified to ISO standards while the procedures have been simplified it should being the same at least 2 control counters apply the one-stop shop for something else
Ps
However we must return to Cesar what is to Cesar 15 minutes after writing this post I must underline and thank the officer of the police services who, as I believe, must be the commissioner in charge of the airport who intervened professionally by dispatching the line to the control points reserved for foreigners, which quickly and
dissolve the queue
A hip hip hurray for him

Worst airport experience! Long story short: noone would help us!

EasyJet had not told our travel agency Kiwi that the flight time had changed to an hour earlier, so when we arrived at 9:08 for a flight at 11:10, the personnel at the check in counter was rude and sharply said "you are 8minutes late! The flight is closed! You have missed your flight". We asked if it wasn't possible to let us in, the new flight hour was after all only at 10:10? "No it is closed, you should have been here at 9:00". We tried to explain that EasyJet had not contacted us an neither had Kiwi, but the personnel kept arguing that "Yes you got it, it says so in the system". When I showed my phone content another lady just waved her hand at me that "No I can't help you, the flight is closed, the next plane is in 3days". When we went to another company counter to get help the lady there just said "You should have come earlier, there are no flights with our company after 8:50." When I pleaded her to help me get home she waved me off with a "Just try to look online". We asked several people to please help us but everyone waved us off with a "I can't help you, you should have come earlier".
Kiwi helped us find out that it wasn't our fault, that no we had not received any message concerning the change of time and a relative helped us find a new plane ticket later.
But the personnel at Agadir Airport was of an absolute disgrace to the service and airport business!

There is no respect and demand for the tip from the gendarmerie and customs
Inappropriate behavior, every employee has a salary from the state, why Bakhshish, and why wait so long at the counter counter

Extremely unorganized and the controls they do are simply unnecessary and slow down the passenger flow. Wouldn't wanna be there when it's rush hour. The restaurant did not even have prices displayed anywhere and there was quite a line. Have your boarding passes ready even before you enter the building itself bcs the police officers are super rude and do not get the concept of flying at all - some airlines issue passes after you present your passport but try explaining that to the smartass police officers :)

Some staff are rude, but overall it's nice.

It is better to eat before coming because it is super expensive compared to the local rate
Cigarettes are good price

On Tuesday morning, April 17, 2012, we flew from Hannover via Nuremberg to Agadir in Morocco for the ten-day holiday. Especially when flying from southern Germany via France, Spain to North Africa, ideal visibility prevailed. I get very impressive shots.

Almost to the day (on Saturday, April 15, 1972) 40 years ago, I flew the same route at night from Frankfurt via Zurich to North Africa. However, my first flight then went on to Dakar in Senegal, where we landed at 4 o'clock in the early morning. Across the Atlantic, we hit Brazil at the height of Recife and then flew to my destination, Buenos Aires. In Argentina, as a commissioning engineer, I spent an exciting time in La Plata for over half a year. In between, I also made several interesting trips to Chile, Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay. For foreign people that have flights to the airport i advise you not to get the taxi from there, coz its very expensive so its better to walk until the the principal road, there are a lot of taxis with a good price.

I just past the security control. The guy checking my information has been really disrespectful. I did not know the exact flat where I stayed in the city, he throw my passport swear in Arabic and did not say by. A guy insist begging for money to us in the airport car park. I don t think I will come back to this city too many rudes people.

Very nice airport. Security was everywhere in the airport. staff was very nice and very welcoming. There is a shop in the airport that sells snacks that will take you're left over dirrums as most other shops won't take them. The area where you wait for you're flights. Look out for it. Morocco was fantastic as so was the people l.

The airport is the first point of contact in the country of 1000 and one night. A beautiful architecture and a break from the boring cubic buildings often found in many European countries.

This place was a little crazy i must admit. It took so long to get through customs. But once through everything is pretty quick and morocco is well worth the wait. Once through if you dont have transport already arranged you will have to get a taxi. On word of advice, make sure you agree the price with the taxi driver before you go but dont pay till you get there. Also if yoh are going into agadir you will be looking to pay about 200 - 250 mad. No more. Enjoy your trips people

A small field on the side of Agadir. After the cash changeover in the Arrivals Hall, three ATMs with the most common cards. It's a good idea to exchange cash for the whole trip, with very few tomatoes in the center. Taxi to downtown approx. 240 MAD. On departure, you can exchange your money back for euros before screening in the lobby. Euro already goes to tax frees and cafes.

Pretty gross airport. Everything is shut down and it doesn't feel 100% safe. Toilets were absolutely horrendous, couldn't wait to get out. Do not let the beggars take your bags they expect money. We tried to stop them but they insist. Straight up gross.

The constant passport control is exhausting, even for 2 liters of water and 2 beer cans they require 14 .... but otherwise a nice little clean airport ... the free Wi-Fi is very slow .... but for the Moroccan standards still good

The arrival is horribly slow, so of course we have the watches, you have time, it makes people laugh for a while, but how with so many counters for passport control we can have so much waiting ... At this level c is stupendous.
Otherwise, the departure, although there is always a queue, goes faster (with fewer ticket offices, go figure)
The airport remains pleasant when you can finally land, cafeteria prices are high (as much if not more than in France) and since you can no longer bring your little bottle from outside now ...

Very nice airport. It is not big so it's hard to get lost. A competent service knows different languages. Crossing the border and sticking visas to the passport goes very smoothly. The practice also very quickly and efficiently takes place. There is a lot of space in the departure hall, you can sit back and relax. There are also duty free and souvenir shops.

Very small and crazy airport, we traveled to airport by bus L39 - the price was 8.5 DHM from ihadia - souk inezgane. Control on airport is very slow and boring, i must show my passport for 5 times... one good thing is outside garden. I ordered small snack, 0.5 watter and coffe and i pay 96 DHM ! Hands down the worst airport I've ever been to. Why ? Its small, slow, overpriced, doesn't take local currency (so you are screwed when you don't change your money before passport control), there is 1 shop to eat that is more expensive as in Paris/Dubai or New York. Its really bad. Spend here the least time possible. Oh, and take a pen...because you have to fill stuff and no one from the employees helps you with that.

Poor organisation. They made us wait two and a half hours on a chair for supposedly "going through a little further check" so that after two and a half hours of waiting they said "you can have a good stay". A real disaster.

Passport checks when arriving is incredibly slow (6min to check a passport).

Let s also talk about the people who assault us as soon as we leave the airport to transport us or take our luggage. Unfortunately, it gives a bad impression of Morocco from the start.

Good go a little positive opinion: The interior of the airport has a nice style.

The airport itself is nice and clean. A lot of queues and bureaucracy where everything is written out by hand what queues are doing and service has time and they are in no hurry. It is a small airport, which is easy to grasp completely.

Nice airport, however, difficult to find seats during delays or other incidents, for accompanying persons or families. 1 coffee stormed with only 5 or 6 tables of 2 people, aberrant. imagery

Catastrophic recording, staff do not know how to address and speak correctly to the traveler, due to a lack of understanding. The head of the TUi company threatened to not let us go back to France, we had to even call on the police. Never again do I set foot in this country of scammers, and especially in this infamous airport.

The Royal Air Maroc service is passable the check-in machines no longer work, only one in three counters works for the regional travel part 2 coffee and a toilet the price of coffee is exorbitant 60 DH a packet of crisps! a scam ! but for the international duty free part and international franchise! I frequented this airport during the years 2015 -> 2018. It is catastrophic. the waiting time is horrible. the behavior of the police is not great (in comparison with Marrakech, Essaouira and Casablanca where the police do their job and smile at you). I can say that there is still a bad government attitude towards this airport. the style of the airport dates back to the early 80's. It should not be forgotten that flights from Paris to this airport are too expensive. Essaouira and Marrakech are clean modernized airports and much cheaper.

thanks to the girl of the standard who managed in 3 min 30 to solve a major problem that even the company to engage does not solve it !! Actually 2 minor of 10 and 12 years old who had to be supervised by the company transavia were delivered to themselves and after only 5min of communication this person was more effective than the company named above ... !! If the airport could reward that person I will be delighted !! Thank you in advance

I was travelling with my wife and two sons (11 months & 8 years old) from LGW to Agadir via Casablanca.
When we reached the Immigration counter, the manager barked at us to go away and fill in landing cards for all members of family. ( The airline (Royal Air Maroc) did not mention this and there was no sign at the airport as well). I requested a pen from the manager to which is waved me off saying not his problem.
When I finally reached the immigration counter, the officer shouted at us to go back and come one by one. I had to tell him couple of times that my young sons would not be able to come by themselves and only then he agreed that we can come in pairs as one parent with one kid.
Next, the custom officer demanded to see our boarding passes for both legs of journey. I didn't keep the boarding passes from first leg of our journey however he was adamant that he needs to see our boarding passes until I was able to pull an email confirming our flight details.
In mean time, my 8 years old was minding his own business and playing with his bad when the airport manager barked at him to stop and raising his finger to him which brought my son to tears.
The icing on cake was when on our return journey, we were the only one in queue and there were three immigration/customs officers on separate desks. They made us wait for five minutes listening to some music on their radio and then ordered us to come one by one. I asked the other immigration officer if he could process my wife's + toddler at the same time since he was free however he ignored me completely. After couple of minutes a french couple came to counter and they were greeted with big smiles and processed by two officers at the same time.
The airport staff discriminated based on skin color not only to us but other people of Asian descent as well.
The manager at immigration desk is not only rude and ignorant but a bigot as well.
If you are planning to take your family for holidays, think twice since no one deserves this kind of treatment from people on a power trip

Terrible organisation, long waiting to get a ticket despite you have only hand baggage.
Guard from passport control very rude and unkind. There is no bus line to airport, but on page of the airport you can read about mysterious bus 20 to Inzegane. Just go outside airport and try to catch grand taxi for much less price.

Tragedy. They have time for everything and despite the fact that you will come 2.5 hours before departure, you can count on 3 delays in check-in. Sometimes the plane is ready for departure and passengers are waiting for check-in despite the scheduled departure time has already passed. Nightmare.

Al Massira Airport is approximately 25 km southeast of Agadir city center. The terminal itself has a manageable number of checkin counters. The check-in at the security check is quite fixed and usually the exit formalities at the entry and exit. Important: keep the completed entry / exit cards ready.
Otherwise, the airport has everything you need. Duty Free, cafes, snack bars and some shops. You can spend the waiting time to boarding pleasant.

We came here with Condor for our summer vacation. The first impression from the outside was very well maintained and confirmed in the interior of the lobby.
The processing of the entry went very quickly despite the long queue. There are many officials available who are reserved but not rude. Within 20 minutes we had our stamp in the passport.
Until then, our luggage was already ready for pickup on the luggage belt.
Everything went so smoothly and routinely at the airport.
Our taxi driver was also punctually ready for us at the exit.
All in all a successful welcome in this wonderful country!

One of the world worst airport I have seen in my entire life!!!, I had a flight in morning 4:55, I came to airport as usual before 3, they had only one person in security and one person at passport service.
They was checking two flights passengers at same time. You can just imagine how long we have to wait in the queue. You should not take this airport special when you have connecting flights!!!.

The airport is nothing special, maybe because after presenting the ticket you are marching to the airport apron and straight to the plane. Check-in efficient, but this may be affected by low traffic. Surprisingly high prices at airport premises

Not a great experience. Security is haphazard and for some reason you have to go through twice: once at the entry to the airport and then again to get to the departure lounge. They threw a long, weird, unnecessary fit because I forgot to take my laptop out of my carry on before the scanner...just ask me!... They kept aggressively asking what I had in my boots and took them away to check either because I had long hair or just to piss me off. Didn't have any little bags for toiletries but didn't stop me bringing them in without. Guy at the cafe tried to shortchange me, you go into the toilet to wash your hands and the guy expects a tip. You fill your water bottle airside, the guy expects another tip for standing there watching you do it. It's a slightly soul crushing experience but no real problems in terms of serious delays or anything. Don't buy food at the airport if you can help it, go to the cafe in the petrol station next door.

It's anything the travelers' escorts do not have the right to enter the airport (vigipirate history ...) people have to wait for the travelers out, they are nice leaders letting people wait on parking in the sun or under the fleet (disgusting), parking that is already extremely expensive even more expensive than European airports, and for delays flights the baggage waiting complexity of the proceedings the heads of customs who can not smile it's not worth talking about because we will not finish. In short it is a clean and stylish airport, but you have to change the mentality of the leaders

Small national / international airport

Small national / international airport
Professional staff
Fast service on average
With more check point it is convenient

Landing, control, exit in 15 min
Price in coffee and duty free shops

To adjust the sound of announcements

To improve the reception at the exit
Tourist representatives not very professional

In addition to people who come to pick tourists in sandals, badly dressed
