It took one and half hour for sixteen immigration clerks to handle 200 people in the queue on arrivals. So in average to handle one person in Agadir airport they need about seven minutes. Sure there is a space for improvement. Writing this while waiting for check in for departure back home. The check-in desk is being opened for half an hour, still no passenger in the queue has been processed. The slowest airport I have ever been to. :-) Give yourself a plenty of time backup when arriving or departing via this airport. they are really slow. :-)

I have only good spirits in Agadir Al Massira airport. . Admittedly, it is small, but the service is great. It may well be that it takes a little longer to get through security, with that being only good. Safety first and foremost that starts before you enter the airport.

Nice airport, not great, but it works. Wifi available, telephone charging sockets on seats, possibility to eat at exorbitant prices and average quality. Same for the shops, the prices charged are shameful, it's unpleasant to be robbed at this point. It is not because we travel that we are full of aces. Prices are inflated in all airports but for 3-4 years Moroccan airports have been exaggerating. Too bad we do not consume !!
The sound quality of the announcements is horrible, everything that the hostesses announce is completely incomprehensible but loud !!
Attention if you enter the customs scanner, it is super strong, I came out with a blurred vision for a long time (30 sec for one eye and 3h for the 2nd eye). I felt the beam go through me, it was really unpleasant. Maybe we should think about calibrating it, it can be dangerous for those who have big health problems

Typical airport of this climatic zone is spacious with service speaking medium English. Check-in takes place at several windows with different efficiency, sometimes the customs officer scratches his head for a long time watching passports. We received the luggage quickly. Toilets easily accessible. You can get a taxi at an affordable price to Agadir.

Worst airport I've ever been to. Corrupt police and immigration officials, they wanted bribes else they would waste our time, a group of 10. Unbelievably rude to us for absolutely no reason. So many security checks to go through, no online check service, paper immigration cards where if the information around where your staying isn't perfect they will delay you until you bribe them. Avoid avoid avoid.

A bit too big queues related to bureaucracy. Morocco is rather concerned about security, because it actually goes through three checks. The airport itself is a bit old. A lot of boutiques in the duty-free zone.

Quite a nice intimate airport, oriented mainly on tourist traffic, no crowds is nice, the only trouble is this registration procedure, you have to fill some idiotic document with strange questions, the airport itself is nice but the road to Agadir no longer, who is the first time in the country the region is sometimes terrified by the total balagan, along the road a heap of debris and rubbish, probably there are more of them than the stones everywhere here. Already Agadir from the hotel district looks much better

This place has its up and its downs. Clearly if you're going to travel on a Tuesday or a Saturday then you can expect the airport to be very busy.

What you can expect: multiple checks of your passport and baggage. You can look at this two ways; over cautious and poor protocol or making sure everyone is safe. Either way, plan accordingly time-wise, know the rules and you'll be fine. Bags are scanned on entrance to the airport; no liquids restriction at this point. Then you'll show your passport at check-in. Then you'll show it again to get to security. Security is a standard bag check with liquid restrictions. Then there's passport control (an absolute theatre at the best of times). Then your passport visa stamp is checked. There's also a possibility of a security check at the gate. The staff told us on several occasions that this is mandated by the U.K government (it seems likely to be true as this final check didn't occur for other destinations).

There is NO landing card required here for UK arrivals/departures. This will have sped things up I am sure. We arrived 2.5 hours before our flight - this seemed to cover us with a little breathing space to stop in duty free and catch our breath.

What really annoyed me is that there are clearly too few gates for the number of flights. Ground crew are unprofessional and clueless - arguing with each other. Our gate wasn't advertised for ages and when it finally did appear it then changed moments before boarding leaving 180 people scrabbling to get to another gate. Priority boarding went out of the window, of course.

The shops and toilet facilities are okay but queues can be long.

In my experience of Egyptian airports this is fairly par; I am used to these airports and plan accordingly both in terms of patience and time. I can imagine others thinking it's the worst airport experience they'll ever have. Chuck an airport porter a few quid and they'll look after you.

A terrible mess. Travelers are required to fill in special documents, but you can not even get a pen anywhere. In the only restaurant at the airport there are no prices, and the ordered food was overpowered. Prices from space.

flew to gatwick on the 29/01/19 .after passing all security checks .there was a lady officer at the gate .dependind on your name if you are morrocan or your looks she decides who would go for a further security on a very tiny corner at the gate .she rudely pointed out with her finger the direction for the morrocan name coming from a social background or to the westerner she thinks they are ugly !!!! there was an english couple in their 70 s amongst the group of a potential security threat ,their hand luggage opened savagely and messed up by the security .a detector is passed over hands ,mobile phone ,laptop .inserted inside a machine to check what ????? what is the point of a security airport check if it is not general ????? how about if one of the 80 % of good looking people mobile phones had something inside !!!! an officer in her white shirt talks with fingers decides on a humiliating check targetting people over their looks ,ethnic backround and the elderly .pure racial descrimination .i was the only person reacting and protesting .one of the officers answers that it was a random check ,absolute rubbish .there was nothing to prove it .before reaching the gate ,all other airport staff were really nice and very polite .gendarmes ,police officers, immigration control officers ,cleaners ,people at the shops all civilised .

We thought the long queue through passport control...

We thought the long queue through passport control when we arrived was bad (it was) but this paled into insignificance compared to the 8 checks that we had to go through when leaving. We were dropped there at 6 p.m. and finally got through passport control (outbound) at 7:50 p.m. which was 15 minutes before our plane was due to take off. Had intended to shop & eat at airport but had time for neither. Not a smile to be seen anywhere. If any of you have seen the sloth scene in Zootopia you will have a good idea of Agadir passport control. Don't take Dirhams (and changing them for GBP/Euros is long-winded in airport foyer) and duty free prices exorbitant.

Getting there by bus is very difficult, and going through the bureaucracy is cumbersome. I advise you to take a conservative mantra to heart, always to arrive at the airport three hours before departure. I usually enjoy it, but at this airport, unfortunately, it works well, everything goes like blood from the nose and ends with a feverish fight against time, even though at most airports in Europe, we would calmly do everything with it. Two baggage checks and some five passport checks met me, one of which is very long (about 45 minutes in the queue). A colleague was detained for five minutes on control with a "fog, fog", after a long communication attempt and switching to gestures turned out to be a fork fork in the backpack. There is no point counting on easy communication in English. Generally - get ready for a long stay in this lovely place!

Small international / national airport. Customs waiting time long enough despite the few people. It's best to just change the outside of the last check because right next to the baggage pickup, it's not profitable at all. The WIFI does not work very well. Some points to eat. You can pay directly in euros in shops but it is not very profitable.

An international airport not very big but beautiful and well maintained. Safety is at the top here. Systematic control is not a detail here. The staff in the counters do their job perfectly but after a while the legs no longer meet the patience required and become heavy. But at least they understand why.

Al Masirah Airport treats Meziane with respect, and we give you the time of the employees who are in charge of duty and security. Meziane is treated as a walker for the first time. We ride in Al Masirah airport. All that we walk for has received the same treatment with respect.

It's a nice little airport. However, it is a disaster upon entry. Four machines arrived on my last trip to Agadir. For me, I had to wait in line for 1.5 hours and walk continuously in zigzags until I got to the immigration control. In Germany the passports are scanned and ok. Filling in the entry declaration and processing it takes a long time. Nobody cares how many people are in line and how long. When leaving, almost the same. I could avoid this by taking a taxi to the airport three hours before departure and checking in, at a time when the buses from the travel agency had not yet arrived at the airport. Conclusion, international standard looks different.
Landed here again this year. Nothing has improved. Cumbersome zigzag running when entering and leaving, even if there are no people in front of you you have to walk these paths, which is pointless, but nobody cares.
Weak freestyle for an international airport.

staff not up to fill some position within this airport or represented the city of my sources Agadir!
point of information that is not even able to inform and keep company for people who fly for the first time in their lives while paying taxes for that! and not that it's free!
why pay and tax a maximum to people if there would be no follow-up ????
AGADIR is a pretty city but to make a maximum of pub to attract the tourists it is beautiful, but to put heads of pig with the customs and the reception as well as agents of stopping incompetent NON THANKS !!! because the first ones we meet are them! and to start badly or badly end our stay Agadir it will not do it !!!
So I invite all of us who have had a passage through the to express their discontent to change some pig heads that dirty the image of this beautiful city! knowing that in general 1 customers out of 14 disgruntled who expresses his anger but the others do not express it! and that's the big reason we can not find services almost up to scratch in some places ..

Nice smaller airport which does its job without many bells and whistles and start you off in the nice Agadir region. If you fancy a drink on your holiday, it might be a good idea to stock up a bit at the tax free shop in the airport when arriving as there are very few places that sell alcohol in Morocco.

Departure canceled last night on 02/28, for a return to St exupery, for technical passengers (bus and hotel night available)
2 departures canceled today on 1/03, cause: no pilot! After a lot of patience and complaints, they decided to give food and drink vouchers.
Finally a plane arrived at 8 p.m., therefore 24 hours late
Simply outrageous, managing the situation 0
Women had to demonstrate very strongly to management for a solution to be found

Sensation of amateurism ...> 2 hours waiting to go to pass customs ... 2 open counters, 6 passports to check 3 min / passport for 2 stamps / passport I let you calculate the time at the counter. .. and on the return to pass customs, with 4 children from 2 months to 8 years old the sketch starts again 1.5 hours of waiting ... finally we pass but a stamp is not made on a passport, half turn .. .. and once on the plane, we learn that 3 passengers got on the wrong plane. How is it possible? Error is human, of course ... Agadir is a beautiful destination. The airport leaves me with the worst memories. Warning !

I have never experienced a lack of service like this! Our flight was changed without our knowledge, so we missed it. And there was no help from the staff - only "You can get new flight in 3 days". Never have I felt so helpless and on my own in an international airport! This is the worst airport experience I have ever had, and I was not the only one. It is unacceptable. We arrived two hours early as you normally do at an airport. I will never fly to or from Agadir again, and I recommend everyone to use Marrakech airport instead!

Airport small but clean and quite in step with the times. The only flaw is the numerous checks.
There is a metal detector at the entrance with x-rays for luggage
Online check-in is useless because you have to have your boarding pass checked STRICTLY PRINTED at check-in
Customs with baggage control
Second round of metal detectors and x-rays to access the gates
Passport control
Passport control with boarding passes again
Then finally you enter the gates where you can find bars and duty free.

Overall even if the airport is not crowded at least an hour is lost between the various checks.
