Parking is the worst I've ever had, broken lift, queing in and out.
Aquarium was dreadful for entry had to que for 30 mins with pre booked tickets.
Place to busy and were unable to see all the attractions, due to volume of people. Staff were helpful but did seam overwhelmed.
The place would have been great if not for the shear traffic.

The aquarium itself was great, lots of animals and information and helpful friendly staff. The soft play area is an extra charge though and expensive for the size of the area, and the food in the restaurant was very disappointing and overpriced for what it was.

A great place to visit for a couple of hours - with something for everyone.

Absolutely brilliant, could spend hours there and go back time and time again.

Only been to 2 other aquariums before those being Torquay and Weymouth. Plymouth was a fantastic place to visit especially seeing the sharks and rays. Would recommend to a friend.

Boring, walked through the hole thing twice in 30 mins, not helped by the screaming children and parents who can't control their kids.

The place was unclean, the glass of the tanks were dirty and scratched.

I loved the way the fish were exhibited, the way information was presented and the staff were friendly and helpful. The temperature was comfortable and it wasn't overcrowded meaning it was possible to get up close to the glass, get a good look at the dish and take photos without people getting in the way. Gift shop has a large variety of gifts at a wide range of prices, also received a 12 month free pass.

glass is dirty, really needs uodating. Staff are very friendly. Good for children.

It was amazing absolutely loved it but for being told it was the biggest in UK I felt it didn't feel that big London aquarium seems bigger definitely worth visiting with friends and family

Biggest Aquarium iv seen in person...Staff are very Informative and Friendly..Exellant Toilet facilities..and Baby Changing....Very Edicational for Children with regular films and Talks.

I absolutely love it here my dad used to work here, And seeing the inside of the shark tank was brilliant experience!

Perfect place to explore with family/kids, friends or alone! I have been there many times and i am still interested in. Big tanks(one of the biggest in uk), many different kind of fish! Active learning opportunities for kids. There is a restaurant to have a meal or a coffee. Also there is a nice garden outside for sunny days with a great view!!

Biggest aquarium I've ever been to, and the spread of marine life is amazing, especially the sharks. Guides also are able to explain about every creature

Very educational... Well thought out for the social distancing. For me I didn't feel it was good value for money. But it was quite cool.

We went on a nursery trip and they couldn't have been nicer they gave us a private room for our bags and as the children were ages 3-7 they were very nice and let them touch various things all in all a great place with very nice exhibitions and talks

A great place to see the wonderful sea life from around our shores and beyond. Slightly expensive but a season ticket is worth it if you are locsl.

The aquarium is very small but fun. The marine world is always interesting.

This really is a fantastic aquarium. We all loved it here and have been several times over the last few years. Lots of fascinating things to see and all the information you'd ever want to know about all the species they have. Lots of things for the little ones to do also.

Wonderful place. A lot of interesting. Many things learned new. Large aquariums. The fish are unusual. Such a few where you will see. Recommend.

The setup was great, lots of information about the fish. Amazing tunnel through one of the tanks. Saw a couple of huge sharks. It's just a shame it only lasted an hour for us.

Kids love it here and there are things for adults too

Doing things a little bit differently from other aquaria, all the staff and volunteers are super- enthusiastic, friendly, helpful and clearly very passionate about marine life.

Great day out for anyone interested in marine life. Went during the week so it wasn't busy, the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about all things aquatic.

Aquarium was really good unfortunately receptionist had an attitude problem with my daughter spoilt our day !

I like it at the aquarium but on this visit it was far too busy and we couldn't see anything. Don't go on a rainy day, especially in the school holidays!

A very good aquarium for a couple of hours of Plymouth time. A great family visit. Some interesting viewing angles and beautiful marine life.

Always a good family day out. Wonderful variety of sea creatures to watch. Their tanks are well cared for and they look healthy. You buy tickets for the day but you can return as much as you like within the next year, so good value for More

Very cute aquarium. Great learning environment for children with lots of information scattered around. Has a small area for events as well, but the space is definitely better suited to normal aquarium activities.

Nice opportunity for university Marine Biology students to get work experience. A massive shame that the bridge near it is closed since otherwise the aquarium would get more visitors. This isn't the aquarium's fault though.

This place is simply amazing, with different talks about the tanks that you can attend and extremely knowledgeable workers who are friendly and eager to answer all questions!

Nice, small aquarium, friendly staff and fun to see divers feed the fish. Bit pricey but as it's a Charity makes sense. Good time for kids

Its a one of a kind experience at the Aquarium. Super awesome maintenance guys. Shame, that we had to take around trip to the aquarium since the bridge is out f order.

Great aquarium. We got in half price after visiting dartmoor zoo too. All the tanks are clean and well presented. Big variety of fish. Would have liked to see more turtles though.

I do love fish and aquariums already but I managed to spend all day here, so if you're only mildly interested I'm sure you can easily lose a couple of hours here.

An excellent visit kids really enjoyed it so did we and will return again .

The staff are friendly and informative, the building itself is poorly thought out and for the price there isn't much to do

I'm not from the area I live closer to London and me and my partner had a lovely time with our family compared to other aquariums they have a lot more large fish tanks holding so many different breeds and it is full of information and planet saving facts! Lovely day out for all

Generally nice but the recommended time is a bit over exaggerated. The tickets are expensive but you get a complementary year pass so it's not too bad.

Was ok but I was a bit disappointed with what fish they had there seemed to be lots of repeat tanks and really unorganized tanks without name tags over priced for what it is

Great aquarium, far more educational than SeaLife London. Did the VIP Behind the Scenes tour too. Summer and Caitlin did a superb job of looking after us and giving an insight into the inner workings, highly recommended.

It was good but it was a bit boring and it was only my 2nd visit. Thanks

Fantastic morning out with my toddler. He could walk around most of it (With some carrying from Mummy!)

Not as big as we thought it would be but still a great family day out if you take your time.

This was a fantastic experience. I was a bit sceptical reading some of the reviews but it is marvelously curated with helpful and knowleadgeable staff. I was with three teenagers and thought it would be the usual rushed experience but we spent nearly 2 hours going round. It is definitely good value for money and not something to miss if you are visiting Plymouth

Absolutly loved this experience especially with the curved screen which makes ypu feel like you are under water.
All social distancing respected by visitors, hand sanitizer available all around the place.

Lots to see and due, very busy with school excursions.

Great place for kids. Service a bit slow in the cafe.
